I'm loving this bhai-behen wala bond so much.They are exploring this phase much late when the show is going iff air.Such a pure and soulful bond.A real supporter of bhai...takes his advise to not to fight with Ehsaan and tries to balance the relationships. It's so lovely how Vanya is dealing with her bhai's heartbreak and supporting him and also not fighting with Ehsaan but will make him understand with time why she is supporting Viaan.Ehsaan finally agreeing to take the desi nuska which Vanya suggested is a symbolism that eventually Ehsaan will realise by supporting Viaan to reunite with Katha, Vanya is doing nothing wrong. Felt so bad when Viaan said that he had not even heard his son's voice for 8 months and the reference of the seperation anxiety is really heart wrenching. He has loved Aarav and accepted him as his son with all his soul.I hope the doctor after today's incident asks Katha what made him react like that.Loved the precap..where Viaan assertively and with full authority told that Katha that he would bring his son back. Waiting to see what would be his next step.

Today I really felt bad for Raghav .The guy has been fooled by both Katha and Viaan.I really wished that Viaan did tell the truth to Raghav instead of thinking of Katha's reputation.When Raghav asked her that he deserves an explanation...madamji was mum which reminded me of Viaan's continously pleading her about wanting an clarity. Did both guys deserve such behaviour from Katha??Didn't like how Ruhi was continously questioning Viaan ....bandey ko haar ek ko jawab dena par raha hai...chahey kal ki bacchi Ruhi ho ya grown ups like Sehgals ?? The first thing Sehgals did was to pounce on Viaan ...arey bhai pheley Katha ko grill karo batein chupaney ke liye...tumharey betey ki bahu banney wali hai...phir ek outsider ko puchna!! Atleast Raghav felt the need to send Ruhi away and enquire about the matter....nahi toh Pari aur mamaji ko zaroorat hi mehsoos nahi hui Ruhi ko room mein bhejne ki.Each and every question shot at Katha was defended by Viaan but when Viaan was convicted she just stood still.Today again Viaan appealed to say the truth to Katha as if telling her to fight for their love but she failed him again. Actually I still couldn't understand why didn't Raghav ask Katha what happened which made Aarav so violent. He just all along 8 months kept thinking about the cause of his nervous breakdown...how absurd is that!! Viaan has two things in life...one is to say ""sorry"to each and every damn person and keep fighting for Aarav and Katha when both are not interested to return in his life and doesn't value him.Loved ...simply loved Vanya again....a support system and a strong pillar of Viaan .After seeing the precap...I think Viaan will decide to go away from the life of Katha-Aarav.

Till now I felt bad for Raghav but now I understand he doesn't need sympathy. He is a fool. Even after fooled by both Katha and Viaan, he didn't raise voice, blame Katha (saying he understand the situation). Atleast he should say now that hiding is a lie. Viaan trying to get Katha behind his back and saying he has not given dhoka. Katha easily escaped saying it is her past and past doesn't matter to her but can remove her engagement ring. Raghav knowing she removed her ring still asking question whom she chooses. I don't feel anything for Raghav now.

Ok so my post would 100% get buried but i need to get this off my chest ;

A friend of mine recommended this show to me and i started watching it and found the wntire premise to be messed up;

Viaan never had any right to put such a request to Katha....what did he think? That she's a single woman who would do anything for the money? Also his 80's bollywood type C Grade movie idea of proposing to Katha on the kaali raat if she turns him down was plain stupidity....like he didn't even care to ask why she needed the money and decided that she was a gold digger ( i get he has his daddy and step mommy issues but so does hundreds and thousands of people in this world , his reasoning was never enough for his actions)

Katha could've said no ( i wish Kavita had let Kailash call Katha on the very night she went to that holet , plot convenience i guess) and went to the cops but she accepted his condition and she got the money.....any sane individual would've went for an other job and she did that only because Viaan won't stop questioning her , and she returned , she wouldn't have been in this mess if she had told Jeetu bhai about why she needed the money

He comes to know about the truth and thus begins the Great Whitewashing of Viaan....this monster was whitewashed so brilliantly;

Poems - Sugarcoated all his horrible crap ( I'll get back to this)

Excused his misogyny with weak -ass daddy issues

Baby track to show how compassionate he was with all the "proper man" jaap

He kept on saying / lying / manipulatong her by repeating that what he did was a MISTAKE....No it was a CRIME

Compassion towards dogs ( a study actually shows that sociopaths are compassionate towards dogs and babies , can we classify both Viaan and Katha in this section? )

His poems ; His crime got sugarcoated to a mere mistake and audience got swayed by his poems and started defending him

Seema track ; Both Katha and Viaan were sociopaths in this track....i agree that Viraj and Teji's marriage was on the rocks , he seperated from.her and went with Seema.....Teji did what she had to do so to protect her son , but she wasn't entirely wrong , she was right in her place and these 2 maahaan aatmas glorified EMA as saccha pyar and Seema as the victim ( this is why i mentioned Katha as a sociopath too)

Him rejecting fatherhood ; To show that he has changed....nope this is overcompensation for what he did

Him going to prison ; Convoluted way of him paying for his CRIME by singing songs in prisonand the gaurds look at him in awe ( wow such suffering)

Now coming to Katha

She was sensible in the beginning and i was with her until she started falling for Viaan , for a while i couldn't believe that the show was litterally paring up a Victim and her abuser ( like any other indian show) but then i thought that i would keep an open mind and see why she likes him....Katha falling for him started after Shamita track i guess where the ex-abuser was proved as innocent cause he didn't abuse someone else...smh

Then she started her string of bad desicions ;

Why work at the place where you had your deal? You should've resgined and left

Why do you want to mend your relationship with your Toxic in laws? Kailash wanted your son to die

Why do you keep poking your nose at Viaan's personal life? Like she should've explained to Teji why she changed the AV and she shouldn't have even gotten near that Seema thing......this was said by Teji as well

Who would let their 9 year old son befriend a person who is 35+? This is not some 2000's show where this can be justified.....she should've asked Aarav to stay away from his "Robin" even before she knew that it was Viaan....like didn't she teach her son about stranger danger? Why didn't Katha hear danger bells after her son told him that he befriended a 35+ ma? Any sane person would've asked their son to back off from his "friendship" after Aarav added Viaan in the PTA group

Yeh Aarav bhi ajeeb ladka hai , who even adds some rando in a PTA group? ( i know that by that point Robin wasn't a rando but this is really weird)

Let's move on to Katha and Garewals

The most screwed up family ever.

He didn't attend his son's funeral , wanted his grandson dead and yet Katha wanted their relationship to mend

They had no right in interfering in her life until Katha handed that right to them

Then Papa G and Kavita became endearing

This show did not manage to redeem Viaan in my eyes but it definitely did redeem Kailash who bonded with Aarav realising that he commited a SIN by wishing him dead

The whole marriage screw up happened ( don't even want to talk about it , that's why i left out Reet , Maya mausi who didn't even have a proper reason for breaking the couple up except for "blood and lineage)

What Kailash did was stupid....call the cops on him instead of drawing out the gun!

Finally Viaan accepted that he manipulated Katha

Dumb and Dumber ( Viaan and Yuvraj ) started playing with the gun.....why did Viaan even take the gun from the table to keep it safe if he was going to drop it on the same table after he shot Kailash? And Kailash was standing there as if he wanted to die ( which he did )

Katha bhi kamaal hai she gave a lecture to Maya about why she and Viaan are never going to seperate but kept her mouth shut at that point

....she didn't even call out Garewals's hypocrisy

But the thing everyone is missing here is every family suffers a fallout and major families wish harm on the other person before mending and repenting their actions.....so i didn't like how the audience were tweeting about how Garewals smartly forgot about their mistakes and blamed everything on Viaan

GAREWALS COMMITED A SIN BY WANTING AARAV DEAD WHEREAS VIAAN COMMITED A CRIME BUT HE GETS A CLEAN CHIT AND KATHA IS SL*ULSHAMED!

That's why the makers made a big deal of showing that Katha was uncomfortable whenever Viaan came near her....she might say that the ONS was consensual but deep down she knew that it was not , back then there was a great power imbalance between them and Viaan had the upper hand and after their relationship he became a puppy dog and Katha had the say in the relationship due to his guilt

Everyone started bashing Katha and saying that Viaan was suffering but Viaan singlehandedly ruined everyone's lives by putting forward that condition to her

"Mujhe pata nahi tha ki tum single mom ho"

Katha's reply to that was awesome

People started tweeting that killing off Kailash was the easy way out of his guilt....NOOO that man literally blamed himself for his massive ego and died out of giuilt wheras Viaan was "suffering " by playing guitar in prison cell ( suffering my ass)

People bashed Katha ( she did deserve some of it) yahan tak ki Aarav tak ko nahi spare kiya but Viaan was the charming prince for them who can do no wrong

They bashed actors , litterally commented "Thank you for ruining the show" in one of Gireesh sir's post

...disgusting

But Viaan is the purest soul for them

Blaming the sinner is fine but they gave a clean chit to the ra*ist .

And he got released and wrote a book and wallowd with self pity on that stage ( Katha's dream scenoario answer was perfect , no one understood her emotions , her POV)

Also the madness with the child psychologist; taken from the movie Ooty where the leads seperate and the heroine has a relationship with a child psychologist

That Raghav is another delusional dumbo he literally said "tum mujhe pyar karna shuru kardogi" or something to her , you know that she hasn't even started to love you but you still want to get married to her

Aarav's anger issues ; some people think that it can be solved by telling that Viaan tortured her before they became friends....nope the next thing he will ask is "then why did grandpa point a gun at him and why Viaan shot him" cause the writters created another plothole where Aarav saw Viaan shooting Kailas ( then why didn't he see that his dumbo uncle Yuvraj was the reason for that? )

Katha moving on and distancing herself was understandable , and marriage plot is typical ITV so idc.....but she goes on to counsel other parents how to treat their kids when she doesn't even know how to manage her own kid is a kind of a irony that only ITV can come up with

I was pissed off at seeing people defending Viaan and posting about how he's pure cause he repented for his mistakes...nope it's a freaking CRIME

What Garewals did was a SIN but fans took it to social media to bash the actors

"Viaan was never arrogant" a fan posted , then was it his mahantha which prompted him to ask Katha to sleep with him? What Kailash said was right ( that Hawas line)

Great going ITV , you guys took a toxic Turkish show and made it more toxic in it's indianized version and got yourself a bunch of toxic fans too

Oh and that umbrella sceme from episode 230 is taken from HIMYM which had one of the worst endings , well if the glove fits the hand.....

But i hope that Katha and Viaan never get together, too much of baggage , just end this cringefest now

All things said and done , at the end of the day , Viaan is not a Parmatma

Wow, that was an insanely lengthy rant. But, I agree with the most of your post leap rant. And I mostly disagree with the rant before leap including the one about ONS and everything simply because it discussed at length in this forum and the conclusion given by this show is satisfying enough.

Rest, I want to only say to you there is always some tradeoff between realism and entertainment. If everything is too realistic, drama won't happen. News is realistic but, will hold zero entertainment value for me.

Also, that night is rape or prostitution, why Katha joined back and everything before pre-leap are discussed on this forum in great detail. Viaan is harasser that will never change but, at this stage wishing death on Viaan for the crime he committed after this much change is like killing a mockingbird.

I too found Viaan's redemption a bit unconvincing. Katha simply became emotional after his sob story and forgave him. But, Katha's character was written like this that she was too practical and didn't hold grudges (which she should now) she was able to forgive him. That is Katha's character not Viaan's. By Shamita's case, he essentially proved without doing to what lengths he was ready to go to seek his redemption. He has two options - Either kill himself off or try to mend for his wrongdoings. He chose the latter and I agree that this is the best choice.

Now, coming to post leap, I clearly saw Viaan stanning on twitter. They just wanted to Katha and Viaan to be together even when such a disgusting truth came out. It was unbelievable to see why they were sl*tshaming Katha as if she did some paap or something. So much delusion that who will tell the truth to Aarav. I have no other word except shipping. I just wrote a very long post about how shipping has been problematic and why all ITV shows are like this. Women being absolute doormat without an ounce of self respect. I was actually sympathising with her but, honestly, makers are leaving no chance and giving her unexplainably bad dialogues which works against her. Now, even I have run out of sympathy for her.

Yes I've read your posts , your analysis on K-V and this whole show was good

Honestly their relationship never sat well.with me even when we got good storylines like Lonawala visit , that architect convention storyline ....all those scenes and storylines were like lollipops to hide the bitter reality of their relationship

Yep the Katha slu*shaming and Viaan stanning was too horrible

The only sane and actually progressive character in this show is Farah....i know that she has her share of flaws but she didn't care that Katha was a single mom and asked Eshan to shoot his shot with her cause she knew that he liked her.....she also did it for her twisted gain which didn't pan out but that point really has nothing to do in this context

Like you said this show is going to end and none of this is gonna matter anymore...
