Just making a new post since i didn’t know where else to post it. But recently I’ve been thinking about why ITV writers aren’t given enough credit. I often watch interviews of actors and actresses on ITV and even they call out mostly the directors and producers of the show but rarely anyone ever gives credits to the writers. Even under episodes uploaded by the channels, none of them seem to mention the writers of the shows. For anyone who watches pak dramas, they would know how writers are usually talked more about when any new show is coming up putting aside the actors because these stories are really their baby more than anyone else’s. Sometimes I wonder if it’s because writers aren’t getting credit where due that it might be interfering with the quality of the content on ITV.

good Q. even I have wondered the same. years back, we did hear about the writers. I remember vaguely reading an interview from one of the writers who explained her writing process. also during DD, many of the regional serials were adaptions of actual novels and often the author was involved in translating to screen. so not sure what is the change.

someone in another forum explained that when a drama launches, there is an A team that writes -- which is why you get stellar writing and scenes. then once drama is established, A team moves on to other dramas and B team appears which is when the drama goes down the drain. so perhaps due to the rotation of team of writers, we don't hear about them at all....
