Really enjoyed reading how you broke down ehsan’s culminating act of putting down Viaan. I think he is a slimeball at worst and a bad friend at least, but mazaa aaya reading your analysis.

Pehle wale viaan aur is wale viaan mein kaisa zameen aasman ka fark hai🤣.. Pehle wala was so confident and not afraid of anyone let alone katha... But ab toh iska pura confidence hi hil gaya hai bechara😂kal party mein he was so afraid... I so miss the old viaan who didn't give a damn to anybody..

Does Ehsan even like Katha? If he genuinely liked her he wouldn't be trying to make her uncomfortable and be touchy with her all the time. Which is why him being this jealous of Viaan if he is, is kind of scary considering his feelings aren't even real. It's as if he just wants to win Katha before Viaan wins her over and not because he likes Katha but because he sees Viaan as his competition/ threat. I'm just not understanding this transition because initially in the show Ehsan was shown to be so chill and laid back and such a great friend to Viaan even if Viaan made all the final decision for the company which is why I still think this whole Ehsan's track and the way he is turning out to be seems so forced.

Ehsan did Viaan dirty in the last episode when he began talking about the latter's alcohol habits. At first I questioned whether it was Ehsan's intention to embarrass Viaan, but I'm convinced that it was.

I think there's multiple psychological reasons as to why Ehsan is the way he is. At times I feel sorry for Ehsan; I get the feel from his character that Viaan was always perceived as "The" boss by the employees due to his serious and dominating nature, and perhaps that works well for Earthcon. But we have seen Ehsan getting hurt at Viaan not consulting him in the matters of the company. I feel that all these years of hurt accumulated into a kind of repressed resentment towards Viaan. Yes, Ehsan considers Viaan his friend (I'm talking about pre-Katha), but he still feels hurt by the differences between them, which he doesn't acknowledge consciously.

I might be wrong in this, but I think part of Ehsan's feelings for Katha arises from the fact that Viaan and Katha didn't get along very well (even before the ONS, it wasn't all rosy between them). So now Ehsan is hell bent on Katha because I feel that he wants to prove something to Viaan. And now suspicions increasingly consume him when he senses the tension between Viaan and Katha.

Since the beginning of the party, Ehsan began getting insecure about the fact that Viaan was becoming popular with the employees (due to his personality becoming lighter). Till now, Ehsan was the funny, joyful kinda guy in the office. Once he saw that Viaan is threatening to share that position, he became insecure, and thus wanted to 'regain' his power by belittling Viaan in front of Katha. I think his intention was also indicated by the serious background music that accompanied that scene, which showed how uncomfortable the whole situation became for both Viaan, and Katha also actually.

I would have some sympathy left for Ehsan if it were not for that alcohol scene (and obviously all his uncomfortable behaviour with Katha), which genuinely angered me.

Bold-- this is what I was thinking... Ehsan's feelings for katha has a lot to do with viaan I feel... He may have liking for her but obviously it's not love coz pehli najar mein love is hogwash...

So the thing is he likes her but knows somewhere that viaan also likes her so he is competing with him mentally putting katha as the prize possession... He is like company bhi tu handle kare ladki bhi tu le jaye aisa thodi hoga.. Atleast in girl's matter he wants to beat viaan coz he knows in business viaan is unbeatable... So he has put his bet on a matter where his winning chances are high according to him...

On the night when Aarav's cancer truth out, after his confrontation on road with Katha, Viaan kind of went into shell with such guilt trap, spent whole night mourning or being angry with himself in his office cabin, but we weren't shown him drown in alcohol,😔 neither later after Katha resumed office.

So when was Viaan exactly such a big alcoholic who consumes tanks as Ehsan pulled him down in party before his colleague Katha,😳 but which viewers aren't aware?
