I don’t think he will be jealous. … yet….It will all come first from a place of “she doesn’t deserve to be treated this way. She should be talked to with respect. She should be referred to with respect” he needs to cross the bridge (pun intended) of giving her back her respect in all ways and any way possible.

Ehsan has fully moved and taken residence in douche friend land. Between his cleavage and mindless put down of Viaan, he has become not only uncomfortable but also I suspect slightly slimy. The way he laughed after Viaan told him he will get ready and come after being told that Katha is also not coming gives me all the jeebies and his contemplative state after Viaan’s mom asks who is the girl too. The telephone call between Batman and robin has all my heart and just like that Viaan with his little smile watching her pic, purposely staying away from her, confusing her and indirectly telling Chaathi man to shut up made me feel for Viaan ten fold.

Tbh i didn't find it as offensive because I'm sure Ehsan was just joking about it which is something that he always does anyway. I find Ehsan to be like those people who will literally say and do anything without giving it a second thought. The only way I would take it in an offensive manner is if Ehsan was really trying to degrade Viaan which is something I'm still confused about.

Imma go rewatch that scene though cause i don't think i even understood properly what ehsan said.

Edit: I just rewatched that part and I think Ehsan was an idiot for inviting Viaan over in front of Katha just for making that comment about alcohol. If he did that knowingly he's a jerk cause he shouldn't be making these kinds of comments/jokes in front of other people, privately might be different considering they are childhood friends.

I guess makers are not going to go jealousy way like in og.

And it will be such a good change.

What i am feeling here is viaan is slowly developing feelings for katha but even he doesn't know it. Eg. Seeing the group pic and focusing just on katha, he wasn't even annoyed with ehsan's hand on her shoulder, getting angry when ehsan asked if there is anything between him and katha and asking ehsan to be respectful towards her, getting annoyed when ehsan was telling about his drinking habits in front of katha etc.

I think viaan is completely changed or may be he was always like that. Instead of getting jealous he is in his own bubble where he is happy watching katha from far. He is taking all steps to make sure katha is comfortable. He agreed for party because katha was not coming, he has taken katha's words of not working with him directly too seriously.

And this behaviour in turn is intriguing katha more and more now. Just like how viaan was intrigued what katha did with money. Similarly katha getting to know about different side of viaan and she is slowly getting intrigued. She was focused on him in the party. She felt bad i guess when viaan left after saying hello.

So may be makers will not go for jealousy track they instead show katha approaching viaan and they slowly start talking and being friendly.

I was thinking the same. May be he is not at all jealous here. He is just happy seeing her dance. I think viaan is deeply falling in love and making sure that katha gets all that she deserves. She should be respected. And i think because of this behaviour only katha will start melting towards him or she has already started.

I think Vian understands he has no chance with Katha after his inappropriate proposal even if he falls in love with her.. He is also noticing Ehsan crossing limits with Katha with the inappropriate touches, talks etc. But I am surprised with Katha’s response as well; she seems to be going too sweet and easy with Ehsan. Katha doesn't have any bitter past with ehsan so she has no way to decipher hos ulterior motive amd moreover she has clarified him that she is not looking up for partner. And after that ehsan assured her he only wants to bebher friend. All the flirting, touching he does he always wrap around garb of joke or friendly flirting. So I guess katha thinks of him as harmless flirt and hence doesn't get too annoyed.

And yes i agree with the viaan part. He doesn't think himself worthy of katha so he will not be going and confessing his love anytime soon. But he is falling in love unknowingly and making sure katha is comfortable, respected and happy. That's why he is not liking ehsan getting too touchy with katha. I don't think he is feeling jealous but i think he is noticing katha is not comfortable with it. He got offended on drinking joke because he thought it would remind katha about that night when he was drinking and has offered same to katha.
