You know all those shows where the ML is in love with another woman from lower status but they are happy, yet his parents want him to marry a girl from their class, but it always fails? What about if it succeeded? What about if the girl from the class managed to break them apart, get pregnant and go through with the marriage, believing that now he would love her, which won’t be possible of course. I see Viaan’s mother in that role as a younger person. Perhaps his dad had tried to stay bcos of viaan himself but he was just too miserable and the marriage became more toxic because of her worse attitude. By chance, he met his first love and fell in love again, and decided to divorce her and move on. He was too sad in it, and his parents had died. Plus, he thought he would explain to his son. But Viaan’s mother and Viaan were too close and she had managed to push them apart when he wasn’t looking. So talks fell on deaf ears with Viaan insisting he stay with his mom and not go to the ‘other woman’. But papa Viaan couldn’t bear to stay and divorced that unhinged woman, he and his first love now planning to start a family. Still, he had a son, and he planned to pay child support while visiting, planning to invite him to his place as he grew so they could bond and he relates with his new family. What if he came to pay the child support for a month when the mother yelled at him, insulted him, and begged him to stay. Reeks of unhinged, usual, and toxic from her. He saw a crazy woman who destroyed his life and wanted to keep him trapped here. Viaan saw a dad who left them for another woman, kudos to his mom’s retelling. This is just my idea, but I feel the real truth may not be far from this. What if all Viaan knows and thinks he knows is shaped by the crazed, on and off parent that raised him? His dad died, so an adult Viaan may not be able to have the chance to talk and straighten things out. What if his mom was the bad one and the dad was actually the victim? This increases chances that her admiration for Kathy is only lip service and she won’t truly accept her for Viaan, with her mentality. Viaan would have to confront her and others and dig the truth at that point, because I feel his mom was a vamp that actually succeeded in her youth. What do u all think?
