the scene was on another level due to adnan's acting, aditi is good but adnan's style is different. When Katha was firing questions after questions at viaan, it was as if he was being stabbed repeatedly with a sharp object.

Katha asked very legitimate questions, and viaan did not have an answer because she was right. Hiding from the truth, covering your ears or turning won't change anything.

The scene turned out to be even better than I expect. Adnan was brilliant and was totally convincing with his reactions today.

Feel like they both equally to blame for the situation. Viaan for proposing the deal and Katha for accepting. Looking back at the episodes recap he does give her way out, if you not comfortable you can leave. Katha was not truthful, even she lie for her job. So Katha being high and mighty is not washing with me either. She could have reported him, if that proposed deal bothered her that much, Also for the stalking too. Personally I probably would have broken down and told the whole truth, nothing to lose at that point.

What if her father in law had agreed to help but with conditions, such as a DNA test and the child stays with them. Would she have agreed to it?

It weird nothing came out in background check, what kind of company is this lol. Even if Viaan had asked what the loan is for before the deal proposal, I doubt Katha would have told. She didn’t tell Jeetu when he asked. Would she still have continued that lie considering her child was running out of time?

What an episode. I was only going to speak about Viaan but Katha's one line hit me so hard. A mother fighting for her child is pure, pious, sacred and needs to be respected. But a woman minding her own business, a hard worker, an efficient employee asks for a loan then is she fair game? She can be bought? This gave me a new perspective. Yeah, why did she have to tell him the reason? Why did she have to be a mother to earn his respect?

Katha was able to look into his eyes and speak. Her conscience is clear. She said she knows what she will say to Adi and God. My heart 💔 I was already feeling battered by watching Viaan break down but Katha's words will stay with me for a long time.

Going back to Viaan's monologues. He called himself Viraj Raghuvanshi..he used it like a gaali. But Viraj Raghuvanshi was happy after becoming ghatiya but Viaan is not happy. He's torn, devastated. And the weak moment where he looked down from his balcony Viaan hit such a low today. He thinks of the barbs he threw at Katha, the extra hours, the extra work, the official dinner party..all the time that she could spend with her kid. Yes, he would have given her the money, he would have let her take time off, he would have reduced her work load if he would have known but it again comes down to Katha's statement. Why did he have to know all this for him to treat her well? Why did she have to be a mother for him to empathise with her, for him to treat her with respect.

Ons Wali raat was supposed to be Kaali raat but how dark was this night. How haunting was this night. Katha cannot forgive him and asks him not to forgive himself. 💔 Where's the end to this darkness? Not just Viaan..we all need savera now. That ray of hope.

I absolutely loved today's episode.

I'm blown away by today's performances. What a way to start the weekend. I am going to watch the episode again and again.

Such a critical episode and turning point in the story and so beautifully delivered by the entire team, especially Adnan. I have re-watched it too, great screenplay, especially the confrontation scene. I even liked what Viaan said to Jenny about relaxing some of their work policies. It shows that he's trying to get out of his default black or white mode. His guilt and redemption forms the crux of the story so it was important for them to make the audience experience what he's feeling and to understand how it affected him mentally, emotionally, and even physically. Otherwise, we wouldn't be invested in the his upcoming arc. I am looking forward the coming episodes.

I agree. The OG never had this kind of confrontation scene but I'm glad about the direction the writers are taking for this show. I can already tell Viaan's redemption track will be much more impactful and in depth in comparison to OG.

this woman has done such a number on her son that he hates a huge part of himself and anything that remotely resembles his father. am going to bet that the father probably wasn't as bad and his impression of what happened was skewed by mamaR.

@bold, this is exactly what I wrote in another post. She doesn't seem a real victim to me, at least not to the extent she makes it seem. Some kind of toxic behavior will surface later.

it is 100% toxic divorce if the son is left hating that he in anyway resembles his father. unless his father is some sort of horrible axe murderer, why does viaan feel so much shame to be the son of viraj raghuvanshi? definitely mamaR gives all sorts of red flags.

Maybe because she's also learning some life lessons, and how the hide and seek made her life difficult. She's also much calmer now that she has managed to get him treated, so she can afford to be picky and place conditions.
