kasturi has now swore to annahilate robbie. Does revenge have any dignity for the one you lost or even kasturi herself?

Will revenge really satisfy Kasturi's lust for justice?

Robina, your real question should have been - does kasturi have any dignity, because how can we look for dignity in someones actions when that person has lost all dignity.

When Robbie was on his revenge mission also I maintained that there is a certain dignity in letting bygones be bygones...and i think at some point robbie understood that before Raunak spoilt it with his indecision. But now that Raunak is Ram Nam sayta hai, robbie realises (late in life) that he should not have walked down the dangerous path of revenge. I can only hope that kasturi learns from robbie and packs her revenge along with the urn and hands it over to the big wave that fell in love with raunak and took him hostage.

If Kasturi is dumb enough to believe it, what can anyone else do?

And what justice? Has she any proof that Robbie killed Raunak. She believes the words of a loony and remembers some random unconnected actions, connects them as a plot to kill her hubby, jumps to the conclusion that Robbie is behind it and is getting all geared up to avenge Raunak's death!!! 😡

Her character in this serial is nothing but a pendulum!!! Swinging from one direction to other!!! Once she says "Robbie Sir, aap kitne acche hai" then says "Mei aapse badlaa loongi". And of course within a few days she is going to repent her actions and come running to Robbie 😆. Personally, I think her character lacks any dignity, self-respect, intelligence. I have no sympathies for her!!!!!!!!

Incidentally Robina, I am fine with the revenge track because at the end of this track, finally it will be RK 😃, the MOST awaited situation!!!!

Taking revenge & punishing some1 4 d sin he didn't committed is not fair. Kasturi is believing what her eyes saw & ears heard. She is repeating d same mistake of not trusting Robbie or giving him a chance 2 explain himself like he didn't give her. She has 2 put herself in Robbie shoes & see 4m his pov. How much ever d rift was b/w RoRa that doesn't mean Robbie will kill Raunak 2 get back Kasturi. Robbie was going away from RaKa's life 4ever but he was stopped & asked 2 come back in Kasturi's life but in d end it was he who ended up hurting himself without mistake.

Robina - Good question. Here's my take.

Kasturi has a history of leaping to conclusions without looking first. Before I start into a tirade on why I hate KC so much - let me answer your question. Specifically in case of KC, what is she avenging? Does she even know? She has sentenced Robbie without even slapping a well defined accusation on him.

Nothing is going to sate KC's craziness - Robbie can hand out his head on a platter and she will find ways to torture it. For me the most sensible thing Raunak ever said was - "Kasturi, are you mad". One time that I agreed with him cent percent! Of course Robbie's "tum ek hi pal mein kuch bhi bakwaas soch leti ho" comes really close. I am glad I have never met anyone so unreasonable and idiotic in my life.

In general, revenge is a very complicated affair for me. It is kind of a two edged sword, for lack of a better term. Revenge will not bring back what you lost or reduce your pain/suffering. You have to learn to deal with it either ways. But it may aid in closure. The worst part of revenge though is the bitterness that eats out your soul - it destroys all innocence - at least that's what I feel. So personally I try not to base my life on revenge - but it's not always easy. In some cases, I find myself wishing I were strong enough to forgive and forget without feeling the need to extract my pound of flesh.

Did I answer your question?

@beagle i think that would be a beautiful scene with rob and kas going together and throwing the urn of ashes into the sea to finally give peace to ronuak's soul....for ronuak these 2 people were his life,

@vavoom soo true one of the most weakest or should i say misguided characters i've seen to date.

@pragalbha so true, the only sympathy i have for kasturi is that that she had bad luck when it came luving and lossing, time was never on her side, i wish the writers would give her character more sense and intelligence for woman are usually much more sensible creatures then what is being protrayed in this serial..

@shurti i agree she should try to walk a mile in robs shoes i think also robbie said it best that ronauk was family and he was surprised with kasturi having the gall to even ask why he's paying off ronuaks debt.... kasturi is truly not in her senses right now.... hummmm

@finally anju i luved the lines you picked out from the show and the apporpriately describle kasturi in a nut shell. and yes once you lose a luved one and it was an accident or murder then its hard not to want revenge or at least see justice done for a luved one.... but this story isnt about justice its more about her misinterpretations of the truth.....

thanks for all the reply luved them all

One more reason why I do not like her attitude of revenge towards Robbie is because she is biased against him, has selective reactions against him.

For eg: She readily believed Shivani because Shivani said something against Robbie. Suppose Shivani had said something against Raunak, would Kasturi have believed her?
If Shivani had said that Raunak still loves her or that he is having an extra marital affair or something, then we all know what Kasturi's reaction would have been!!!!

I feel her primary concern seems to be, to hurt Robbie rather than grieve Raunak's loss.

hi robina,
Nice Q. I just want to say revenge is something u seek when u do not get justice. But has kasturi even tried for some justice for raunak's murder. She could have told the family that Raunak was murdered & the inspector's story.

Like all BT heriones, she could have tried to investigate this thing further and then may be if she feels she has not got justice, she could go on the revenge path.

But she has as usual jumped into conclusions & as usual they are the wrong ones and is going to repent later.

I agree with anju's view on the revenge and anju very nicely put.

As usual I missed this post..I think you make posts only when I sign off for the day😕...A thought provoking post yet again, Robina👏

I looved all the points shared by everybody else here...

Revenge brings in only one thing- Destruction...More to the person who is on it, than to the person who is facing it...Why revenge, just holding a mere grudge against someone can make ones own life miserable, you know...

This is just a serial and I was all geared up to see how Robbie was going to take his revenge and all, agreed...Its another thing, that I don't agree with what he did...I know the revenge feeling, when your own best friend does an about turn on you, is justified.....But who had more to loose in the bargain???Didn't Robbie loose the very reason he was fighting for???In KC's own words, she said but for Robbie, she would've never been able to love Raunak....

Revenge can never have any dignity...There is dignity only in letting the bygones be bygones and moving on with life...Life is too large and much more than being stuck to one stupid personal revenge mission...
