Hey all you daisies, how are you all doing? As always it was fun reading all your guys comments on the episode, and today after a bit, I decided to put down my thoughts on today's episode as well..Though, I would not credit the storyline of Kasturi for this😆 just the curiosity to see how Tusshar-Udita's scene in Kasturi would be like...
Discomfiture embarassments: Poor Kasturi and Chawla family, there is no greater feeling of shame for a person who confidently says one thing and then has to force one self to rip off the confidence, which was an illusion unknown. Kasturi must've felt so humilated, and probably garnered a lot of courage to tell her family what she told them...
Though, I was expecting Lala ji to refuse outright, since he didn't seem like a person who would relent his principles, and agree to live in his married daughter's home. I didn't see yesterday's episode, so I can't be accurately sure, but judging from today's episode, he was a bit reluctant but not as much as I expected him to be. Especially, since the Sabarwals -- yaani apna Robbie and Vikas live there...Maybe, he forced himself to agree because he doesn't have enough money to shelter his daughters and his wife? Need hours, force people to compromise at times..
Hum Saath..toh aur kya?: I must say, I liked the scene between Kasturi and her family when she breaks the news to them and her father puts on a brave, un-affected front, assuring her of their well-being..It was touching to see that scene..And also, the later scenes when they find a small room and the song plays on...
Taang-Keechne-waali ka Taang-keechne-waale-din: (I don't know if that made sense or not, and if I put forth what I intended to say, but if it does make sense, that's what I meant..atleast I think so lol) It was funny watching Alka being dumped into the Kitchen, cooking food and eating her own head this time...In the process of kicking out the Chawla family from the house, she got kicked out of her leisure times...😆😆 I bet, woh khud Chawla family ko leni jayegi ek din, with assoo's and all, cursing Pooja and her mother...
Hum Dil De Ke...: Believe it or not, but when I saw Kasturi lighting those lamps, I drifted into dream-land wondering if we were about to have a different form of a HDDCS scene, like the one that transpired between Nandini-Sameer in the beginning of the movie..Wouldn't that have been heart-tugging? *sigh* 😳😳😳
Moving on, I liked SA's performance today, a more natural, soft performance came from her..It definitely seems like she is working mighty hard these days and it is paying off...👏
CHITI CHITI, BANG BANG: *Hold your laughter bubbles right there*😆When I watched Robbie hitting the drums with all his strength today, I was somehow reminded in an odd connection of my nursery and elementary school days when I used to play a game called Chiti, Chiti bang bang, where you would slap hands with your friends and sing this sort of song, I don't remember the details, but just like that, Robbie was hitting the drums with every emotional rhythm he could muster...
He looked mighty exhausted, has a sort of depressed expression lingering in his eyes..😭 Might I add, even the sweat trickling down his forehead made him look delicious, and white I say is my favorite color of him..I adore him in white shirts...Moving on from my gooey-eyed-ness, was it me, or did two men in possible suit attires come to him, before they quickly shifted to the last scene?
I have a hunch, maybe Robbie owns the company, Kasturi just applied a job for. Perhaps, he wants contractually, professionally bind her to him, so that when Raunak is bailed out, he would have to bear seeing Kasturi work for Robbie..? Don't, I pray don't ask me where I get these 'hunches' from, it's just experience...😆😆
Last but certainly not the least, KP's acting had me aw-ing again, for me he's definitely one of the best, new-comers this year. (In a full-fledged role) 👏
Shoot and Shoot: So, a shoot in a shoot in a shoot scene? Okay, I may be confusing your lovely souls with so many 'shoot' words...But, see there was the Kasturi shooting, and in it they portrayed the Aggar shooting and then in that shooting, there was an almost shoot scene...
Moving on, I was expecting a very dramatic, special effect filled episode with Tusshar-Udita in it, but I was surprised to see a very mellowed down one..I think this was definitely one of the better blend-in promotion scenes that I've seen this past year because it started and ended smoothely..
But, if I may, I have one question, why were they shooting for a film in SS House or more like it being Robbie's studio???😆😆
Performance Meter: Robbie/Karan was marvelous as always, SA was good too, Lala ji was nice and I liked Tusshar-Udita..I'm not a fan of Tusshar, but he has potential which hasn't been explored yet and especially not in this scene and Udita don't remember watching any of her movies before, but she looked cute and I don't know what I think of her acting..Shreyes was fantastic in Iqbal, but in Kasturi, he was a bit out of it, no zest, no energy, no efforts..😔
Story Meter: 👎🏼 5/10 and the special appearances of T-U must've been the main lurance.. Everything, all tracks were sad except for Alka's comic timings..The plot needs to get thickened, though it's moving a bit forward with Kasturi getting a job, and Robbie learning something from the shooting scene, which I have no clue what it was..😕😆
Keep smiling...
Love
