PART - 12

Next day, Kasturi will come down for breakfast very early and she will meet Raunak there. Raunak will be completely lost in thoughts, looking very depressed. She will greet him.
Kasturi : Good morning , Sir
Raunak (coming out of his thoughts) : oh, hello Kasturi.
They look at each other. Raunak sees several questions in Kasturi's eyes and he feels very guilty. He cannot continue to look at her. He will lower his eyes. After a few minutes he will say
Raunak : Aaj mei kisi jaroori kaam se Hyderabad jaa rahaa hun. Lekin jaane se pehle mei tumse baat karnaa chahta hun. Tum paanch baje tak aa jaogi na kaam se?
Kasturi : Haan, Sir. Actually, mujhe bhi aapse kuch baat karni hai.
Raunak : Theek hai toh phir shaam ko milte hai.
He smiles slightly and leaves.

Kasturi will go to work, and go about her routine, trying to not think about Robbie as she does not want to get weak. Tanu and Navneet call her at office.
Tanu : Kasturi Di!! Kaisi ho??
Kasturi : mei acchi hun, tanu. Tu aur navneet kaise hai.
Tanu : Hum acche hai di. Accha aapko yaad haina Sunday ko maa kaa birthday hai?? Aap aa rahi ho na?
Kasturi : haan, mei parson subah hi aa jaaongi.
Navneet (will grab the phone from Tanu) : Aur di, gift???
Kasturi : Don't worry, mei khareed kar le aaungi.
Both the sisters will be excited. They will talk some more and then end the call.

Meanwhile Raunak will be at work when Mr.Arora will call.
Mr.Arora : Sorry Raunak, Tumhaara message mila ke jab tak tum hotel pahunche, woh checkout kar chuki thi. Lekin niraash mat ho, hume uska address toh mil gayaa hai na. Ab tum uss tak zaroor pahunch sakte ho. Accha, kab jaa rahe ho, Hyderabad?
Raunak : Aaj shaam ko. 6.30 PM ki flight se.
Mr.Arora : Have a safe trip. Lekin meine jo kahaa woh dhyaan mei rakhna. And keep me posted.
Mr.Arora : Zaroor. Bye

By lunch time Kasturi cannot concentrate on work anymore. All she can think about is Robbie and the dream. She will fidget in her chair. Can't sit, can't stand, can't eat. As the clock ticks, she will get more and more restless. And then finally she cannot fight it anymore and calls Sharma ji.
Kasturi : Sharma ji, aaj mujhe jaraa jaldi nikalna hai.
Sharma ji : Theek hai Kasturi.

She will grab her bag and leave for the airport.

Nandini and Divya go to the airport to see-off Robbie and Devika. They check their stuff in and stand there talking.
Kasturi reaches the airport. She goes in and looks around. Her eyes land on Robbie and the rest of them. She will quickly hide herself behind a pillar from where she can see everyone but they will not be able to see her so easily. She watches them talk. While Robbie is talking to them, his eyes are constantly checking the crowds too. He is waiting to see that one face. Whenever he looks in the direction where Kasturi is hiding , she would immediatly duck. After a few minutes, Nandini and Divya say goodbye and leave. When they are walking out, Kasturi hides behind the pillar for a few minutes to make sure they pass her and then again looks out. But she will see that Robbie and Devika are gone!!! She looks around desperately but cannot see him. She is dejected that she could not catch a last glimpse of R before he actually left.
Suddenly she feels somebody tap on her shoulder. She whirls around to see who it is.
Robbie is standing behind her with a beautiful smile on his lips and immeasurable love in his eyes. Kasturi draws in a sharp breath. He was looking even more handsome than usual!!!! He winks at her and says
R : Mujhe maaloom tha Kasturi, tum zaroor aaogi.
His eyes will completely mesmerize Kasturi and she will not be able to move away from him. Then he will lean towards her and slowly kiss her on the cheek and whisper
R : Thank you baby, for coming!!
Kasturi will feel weak in her knees. Her mind will be screaming, MOVE AWAY. But her heart will make her remain rooted to the ground. His kiss will spread such warmth on her face that she will start glowing.
R : Yeh lo, mai tumhaare liye kuch laaya.
He will have a envelop in his hand. Kasturi will not take it. So he will hold her left hand and bring it up and keep the envelop in her hand. And then he will slowly bring her right arm up and twist her hand around so that it will face her, then he will rub her thumb against her maang so that some of the sindoor will spread on her thumb and then he will turn her hand around and make her apply that sindoor on the thumb as tilak on his forehead!!!!!!
Kasturi will do all this like a puppet. She will not have any strength to resist!! Then R will look at her and say
R : Ab tumne tilak lagaaya hai toh, kaamyabi toh mere kadam zaroor choomegi!
He will kiss her hand and smile at her.
R : Mei tumhe bahut miss karoonga. Lekin, tum apnaa vaada mat bhoolna (and he winks at her), mujhe bhoolne kaa!
Then he will give her one parting look which will be filled with a lot of pain that will pierce through Kasturi and walk away to the Security Checkin without turning back. Soon he will disappear from her sight. Slowly Kasturi will make her way out, call a taxi and head towards home. In the taxi she will open the envelop and take a greeting card out. This card will depict 2 roads. They start as one and in the middle will split and take different directions. And will continue as separate roads.
Kasturi will open the greeting card and the following poem will be written inside.

Teri aankhon ke saamne se chale jaayange,
Apnaa gam tere dil se mitaa jaayenge,
jo neend teri churaai tujhe lautaa jaayenge,
kyonki bhula degi tu mujhe, yeh teri zid hai

Magar,
Tu na sahi, tere dard ko, hum saath lete jaayenge.
Tu na sahi, teri yaad se, hum raah roshan banaayenge.
Tu hi nahi, teri khusbhoo bhi , hum bhool ke bhi na bhulaayenge
Teri kasam, jeetkar iss doori ko, dar pe tere phir aayenge!

Kasturi will read it several times and then carefully place the card in her bag, next to the other card that Robbie had left for her in the office, that she has been always carrying with her since then.

Kasturi's car drives away, Robbie's plane takes off and we hear the following song in the background. (Guys, I chose this song from the movie Pardes, because I have always found a subdued intensity, a sense of helplessness in this song that really touches my heart. And the current condition of both Kasturi and Robbie matches this song. Imagine Kasturi and Robbie travelling in their respective vehicles, thinking about each other. And they are alternately shown while the song plays.)

And when Kasturi will be getting out of airport, Raunak will be driving to the airport. Both the vehicles will cross each other and go on opposite sides!!!!

Are u goin to end this FF with just one more scene or are u going to continue this fanfic...

And wat is the meaning of the last statement, RaKa going in opposite directions 😉 ... foreshadowing???? 😆

Its just so awesome... the last four parts were a treat... the characters were so real and everything is in place... I love the Robbie comes close to Kasturi and just sweeps her off her ground 😉.... and Kasturi inspite of all her struggle to keep away from him just cannot come in terms of staying away from him!!! It seems Robbie hypnotizes her 😳....

I hope this was wat that was happening on the show 😭 ... then everything would have fallen in place completely!!! and RK's way would have also be clear... now by the time Robbie will come back probably Ra/Ka will be separated and then Robbie can get her back... Raunak and Kasturi going opposite ways 😛.... Yeh toh hona hi tha...

I really feel sorry for both Robbie and Kasturi here!!! Awesome 👏 .... will be missing you and the ff terribly while you'll be away!!! Continue soon....

Thanks for liking the tilak scene!!!! I am not planning to end the FF yet. But for the next 4 weeks, I will post maybe just 4 or 5 parts depending on how much time I have during travelling. Its gonna be a long flight to India, so I am thinking I will be able to type some scenes up in the flight.
