PART - 8

As soon as the song is over, Robbie gets up goes to the manager and asks him to cancel their order, pays for their order anyway and requests that Ishita be told that he has left the restaurant and is waiting for her outside.
Ishita (comes outside and is surprised) : Kya hua, Robbie?
Robbie : Ishita, tumhe maalum hai na mere aur Kasturi ke beech mein kya hua hai?? Iss liye, I am sorry, mein wahan aur nahin baith sakta. If you don't mind hum kahin aur chalte hai.
Ishita : No problem, chalo 'Nan King' chalte hai.
They leave to that chinese restaurant.

Meanwhile, in Coconut Grove.........

Raunak : Kya hua Kasturi??
Kasturi has not noticed that Raunak has come back. She is startled, quickly wipes her tears and says
Kasturi : Kuch nahin Sir. Woh khaana bahut teekha tha.
Raunak looks at her plate. She has hardly eaten anything. He realizes that seeing Robbie had affected her and he says
Raunak : Kasturi, apna khaana khatam karne ki koshish karo.
He sits and both of them somehow manage to finish their dinner. And then they leave the restaurant.
Raunak : Kasturi, abhi ghar nahin chalte hai. Chalo thodi der baahar ghumte hai.
They go to a mall and walk around, doing some window shopping. Slowly Kasturi recovers. They talk and keep walking around.

Kasturi will think, I am going to pieces everytime I see Robbie. If I continue like this, how will I move on with my life??? And for the millionth time she will decide to be strong and then she will look at Raunak and say.
Kasturi : Sir, kya hum roj lunch mein mil sakte hai? Mein jaanti hun aap bahut busy hai, lekin mein soch rahi thi yeh ek accha mauka hogaa aapke saath thoda waqt guzaarne kaa.
Raunak (with a smile) : Excellent idea. Lets try and do that.

Kasturi and Raunak are just crossing a shop entrance when someone comes out from inside, while looking inside and saying goodbye. She crashes into Kasturi and all the stuff she is carrying falls on the ground. Raunak quickly holds her from falling and stabilizes her while Kasturi grabs all the bags that have fallen down and hands them to her. She thinks, OMG this lady is so beautiful!!!!
Raunak : Are you OK?
The unknown lady : Yes, thank you so much!!! Pataa nahin, mein kaise...
and she looks up to see Raunak while talking
KABOOM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Raunak and that lady are completely SHOCKED at seeing each other!!!!!!!!!!! Donon ke chehraa ekdam badal jaate hai!!!!!!! Kasturi watches them and is completely surprised. Raunak and that lady are still staring at each other completely dumbfounded and oblivious of everything around them. Kasturi shakes Raunak's hand and says "Sir, Sir". The lady comes to her senses and just dashes out from there. Raunak comes to his senses too and starts after her calling her name.
Raunka : Neela, ruko, RUKO!!!! NEELA!!!!!
Neela starts walking very fast and in the process drops a bag but does not care to pick up and just rushes out. Raunak is now running after her and Kasturi starts running after Raunak and on the way picks up the bag that Neela had dropped. But she is too fast and is gone before he can reach her!!!

Raunak just stands staring after her. Kasturi reaches him and sees he is completely distraught!!!! He is extremely restless and his face is so angry and he is just fidgeting not knowing what to do !!!!! Kasturi is too scared to ask him anything!!!! At length Raunak calms down and notices that poor Kasturi is standing besides him all scared. He comes to his senses.
Raunak : I am sorry Kasturi. Very sorry. Chalo, chalte hai.
They reach their car. Raunak is completely lost in thoughts. Kasturi still does not have the guts to ask him anything. They finish the ride in silence. They reach home.
Raunak : Tum jaake so jaana, mujhe kuch kaam hai. Good Night.
Kasturi : Good night, Sir aur dinner ke liye shukriyaa.

Raunak does not answer and just leaves from there. Kasturi walks up to her room and wonders who that woman was and why Raunak was so completely overwhelmed by her. And then she slowly realizes that she is still carrying the packet that Neela had dropped. She will think, I will give it to Raunak sir tomorrow morning. She changes and goes to bed.

Meanwhile Raunak calls Mr.Arora.
Raunak : Mr.Arora, Sorry for calling this late.
Mr.Arora : Arre Raunak, koi baat nahin. Bolo, kya baat hai?
Raunak (his voice shaking with emotion) : Meine.. Meine, aaj Neela ko dekha!!!!!!
Mr.Arora (completely shocked) : KYA???? Kahan???
Raunak : Yahin, Knights corner mall mein.
Mr.Arora : Raunak, are you sure about this? Kahin tumhe koi galat fehmi toh nahin hui hai???
Raunak : Nahin, wo hi thi. Woh mujhe dekh kar bahut tension mei aa gayee aur binaa baat kiye chali gayi.
Mr.Arora : I am so shocked!! Accha suno, Do you want me to come over?
Raunak : Nahin. Mein ab theek hun. Kal subah milenge. Thanks and Good night!
Mr.Arora : Good night!

Raunak switches off the phone and suddenly is overcome with emotion and starts crying.

Next day morning, Kasturi gets ready for work, takes the bag dropped by Neela from yesterday and goes down for breakfast. She does not see Raunak there. She will not find Robbie anywhere either.She will wonder how his wound is. But Itne mein Nandini wahan aati hai.
Kasturi : maa ji, Raunak Sir nahin dikh rahe hai???
Nandini : Beta, aaj woh bahut subah hi nikal gayaa.
Kasturi is surprised, she eats her breakfast and leaves for work. She thinks she will call Raunak on the way and mention the shopping bag.

Kasturi calls Raunak on the way. Raunak answers the call. His voice sounds very unusual. So, Kasturi asks concerned
Kasturi : Sir, aap theek toh hai na???
Raunak (clears his throat) : Haan, theek hun. Bolo, kyun phone kiyaa?
Kasturi : Sir, kal mall mein hum jinse mile the, unke haath se ek shopping bag choot gayaa tha. Woh meine utha liyaa tha. Mein poochna chah rahi thi, ki iskaa kya karoo?
Raunak is excited and Kasturi can feel this excitement in his voice.
Raunak : KYA!!!! Woh bag tumhaare paas hai??? Suno, usse jaldi se kholo aur dekho ke usmein koi bill/receipt wagairah hai kya??
Kasturi opens the bag and searches inside. She finds a bill from the shop from which Neela had come out. It is a bill that says that some clothes were given for alteration and will be ready in 2 days for pick up.
Kasturi : Haan Sir, iss mein ek bill hai jisme likha hai ke kuch kapade do din mein pick up karne ke liye tayaar ho jaayenge.
Raunak is very excited and is thinking that if he camps out at the shop, he might be able to meet Neela again. While Kasturi continues...
Kasturi : Aur Sir iss bag mein kuch naye kapde hai. Aur yeh kapde kisi choti bacchi ke liye khareede hue hai.
He almost drops the phone.
Raunak (extremely agitated) : Kitne saal ki bacchi ke honge?????
Kasturi : Yahi koi one or one and a half years old bacchi ke.
Raunak (says in a very cold manner) : Theek hai Kasturi, bye.
He cuts the call and collapses into a chair and is completely overwhelmed by emotion

PART - 9

Raunak is in Mr.Arora's office. He quickly comes around to handle Raunak. Raunak breaks down.
Mr.Arora : Raunak, kya hua? Please control yourself!!!
Raunak (looks at Arora, all distraught) : Neela was pregnant when she left me!!!! Meraa andaaza sahi niklaa.
Mr.Arora (completely shocked) : OMG!!
He pacifies Raunak and tells him to control himself. Suddenly Raunak gets up, very determined.
Raunak : Mr.Arora, I have to find her!!!
Mr.Arora cautions Raunak : Raunak, yeh mat bhoolo ki tumne Kasturi se shaadi kii hai! Tum museebat mein padh.............
Raunak (cuts off Mr.Arora) : Mujhe kuch bhi karke usse dhoondhnaa hoga!!! Ab mein uske bagaair ek pal nahin jee saktaa!! Mujhe mall mein uss shop ko visit karnaa hai. Mujhe lagtaa hai, woh meri madad kar sakenge!!!
Tells him how Neela dropped a bag and how there was a receipt in it.
Mr.Arora : Theek hai. That seems like a good idea. Lekin, please be very careful. Mein tumhaara dost baad mein, aur attorney pehle banaa. Yeh meri zimmedaari hai ki tumhe museebat se bachaaye rakhu.
Raunak : Thank you. I really appreciate it. Lekin ab mujhe jaana hoga.
Raunak rushes out to go to Kasturi's office to pick up the receipt.


Meanwhile, Devika comes to Robbie's music studio to meet him. He is busy practicing.
Devika : Beta, ab kaisa hai tumhaara ghav?
Robbie : Much better mom! Ab toh dard bhi ekdam kam ho gayaa hai.
Devika : Tumhaara nayaa album kaa kyaa haal hai??? How is it going??
Robbie : Its going great Ma!!! Mujhe aur teen gaane uske liye likhne hai.
Devika : Great! Accha Robbie suno, kal jo hamari 'International Talent Inc' waalon se meeting hui thi. Tumne kyaa socha usske baare mein. Are you ready to go on the USA and Canada tour?
She will be very tensed and will look at Robbie with a lot of fear in her heart, ki kahin yeh reject toh nahin kar degaa.
Robbie : I am ready to go on the tour.
Devika cannot believe her ears!!! She will be so excited that she will immediately call Robbie's program manager.
Devika, Robbie and their program manager will sit and discuss the upcoming program. The dates, the performances, the team, the songs, the marketing and advertisement efforts. The cities they will perform in etc. (Girls, send me info about which states you all live in. I will make sure I include a performace in that state by Robbie!! After all, ab yeh sab mere haath mein hai!!! ).
This whole tour will expect to rake in a lot of profits and Devika will be thinking in her mind, these proceeds will help me to buy out the Singhania's share and kick them out of the house. While Robbie is thinking , I will make this tour and my new album such a hit that Kasturi jahan bhi dekhegi, bas mujhe hi paayegi.

Devika notices how enthusiastic Robbie is about the trip. She is surprised to notice a sudden change in Robbie. After Kasturi's wedding, he was very disillusioned, giving mediocre performances. But now he seemed a completely new Robbie, with renewed energy. She will think, I was so concerned that he will not agree for this tour. But he has agreed and he is also working on his new album. She will wonder what has brought about this change. And will be very happy that he has put the Kasturi chapter behind!!! (little does she know that........)


Meanwhile in K's house, JP is about to step out when he gets a call from Surjeet.
Surjeet : Oye JP, Kaisa hai tu?
JP : Bilkul theek, tu bataa kya haal hai?
Surjeet : Mein tujhe abhi milnaa chahtaa hun. Tu Connaught Place aa saktaa hai kya?
JP : Abhi?
Surjeet : Haan, abhi bahut zaroori kaam hai. Connaught Place, 2nd Floor, Shop # 31 pe aaja.
JP : Theek hai. Ek ghante mein pahunchtaa hun.

JP reaches that place and goes into the shop. Surjeet comes up to greet him and they both embrace and then he takes JP inside the shop. A young man will be talking on the phone in a very frustrated manner. It will be some argument about supplying cloth material. Finally, that guy will slam the phone down with anger and yell aaagghhhhh!!! JP will look at him surprised.
Surjeet : Yeh hai mera puttar. Meri aankhon ka taara. Oye Sameer, yahan aaja.
Sameer approaches them.
Surjeet : Yehi hai, JP uncle, jinke baare mein kal mai tujhse baat kar rahaa tha.
Sameer : Oh, hello uncle. Namaste
JP : Jeete reh puttar. Yeh itnaa kyun chilla rahaa tha?
Sameer (gives an exasperated look) : Mein ek jaan aur hazaar kaam! Tang ho gayaa hun, sambhalte sambhalte!!! Meri interest kapadon koh design karne mein hai. Lekin yahaan toh uss kaam ke liye wqat hi nahin mil rahaa!!!
Surjeet : Aur isi liye JP, mein soch rahaa tha agar tujhe eitraaz na ho to, tu yahaan manager kaa kaam sambhalega kya??? Tere yahaan rehne se, Sameer ko bahut madad hogi, aur gaon baithe baithe mujhe bhi yeh chintaa nahin hogi ki Sameer ka kya haal hai. Tere tajurbe seh sameer ko ek accha raasta milegaa.
Sameer : Please uncle. Hamaraa yeh offer accept keejiye.
JP is overwhelmed and is very surprised and does not know what to say.
Surjeet : JP yaar, mein jaanta hun, tu kya soch rahaa hai. Yeh sahi hai ke Sameer ne kaam nayaa nayaa shuru kiyaa hai. Lekin haal hee mein usse ek bahut bada order milaa hai (The father and son look at each other for a moment in a meanigful way.) aur uss order ko poora karne ke liye, ise madad ki zaroorat hai. Tere jaise tajurbekaar koh jitnaa milnaa chahiye utnaa toh shayad nahin de paayenge, lekin agar tu yeh sweekaar karega toh mujhe bahut khushi hogi.
Surjeet looks sincerely at JP with a lot of emotion in his eyes.
JP is so touched that he embraces Surjeet, donon ke aankhon mein paani bhar aata hai and JP and says
JP : Sahi kahaa hai kisine, ke dost, parivaar se badhkar hote hai. Ek taraf mere khudh kaa bhaai aur uskaa parivaar mujhe todna chahta hai aur ek taraf tu hai jo mujhe sahaara de raha hai. Mein teraa yeh ehsaan zindagi bhar nahin bhuloonga!!!
Surjeet : Chal phir, iss baat pe chai ho jaaye?
Sameer (with a huge smile) : Shukriyaa uncle aur please aap kal se hi join ho jaaiye!!!!

JP and Surjeet leave. And Sameer calls a company called Fashions Inc.
Sameer : John, meine apnaa vaada poora kiyaa. Ab tum apnaa vaada poora karnaa.
John : Don't worry. Samjho order tumhaara hi hai!!!

John informs his boss Akhil Mishra about the work being completed. Mishra thanks him and calls up another person.
Akhil : Sir, aapka kaam ho gayaa hai.
The other man : Thank you Akhil. Mei yeh tumhaara ehsaan kabhi nahin bhoolunga.
Akhil : Arre, kaisi baat kar rahe hai Sir?? Aapne hame itnaa business diyaa hai. Badle mei kya mein ek chota sa contract aapke kehen pe kisi ko de nahi saktaa ??? Ulta mujhe aapka shukr guzaar hona chahiye.
The other man : Thanks Akhil. chalo phir, baad mein baat karte hai.
Akhil : Sir, woh aapke US tour ka kuch finalize hua?
The other man : Abhi baatchit jaari hai. Finalize hote hi mai tumhe khabar karvaa doonga.
Akhil : Thank you Mr.Sabharwal.


Raunak quickly reaches Kasturi's office. Kasturi is surprised to see him.
Raunak : Kasturi, woh shopping bag kahaan hai?
Kasturi hands him the bag. Raunak opens it quickly and pulls out the 2 cute baby dresses and stares at them very emotionally. Then he notices that Kasturi is looking at him in a surprised manner. He quickly shoves them back in and then pulls the bill out. He is very happy to see it.
Kasturi (finally musters courage): Sir... Sir, kya mein pooch sakti hun, woh aurat kaun thi?
Raunak : Kasturi, wo wahi thi jiske baare mei, maine tumhe uss letter mei bataaya tha, jo shaadi se pehle meine tumhe di thi.
Kasturi (looks puzzled) : Sir, lekin uss letter mein toh koi aurat ka zikr..........
Raunak is not listening to her and cuts her : Kasturi, ab mai chaltaa hun. Sorry, mujhe der ho rahi hai.
Kasturi : OK, Sir. Sir, Hum lunch pe mil rahe hai na?
Raunak (remembers they had decided to meet) : Actually, I am sorry Kasturi, mai lunch pe nahin mil saktaa. Sorry about that.
Kasturi : Koi baat nahin, Sir. Phir kabhi sahi.
Raunaks leaves and Kasturi looks after him wondering what is he talking about.


During lunch time, Kasturi steps out to do some shopping. In a couple of weeks her mom will be celebrating her birthday and she will plan to buy something wonderful for her.
Kasturi is just window shopping when she suddenly sees Divya.
Kasturi calls out : Divya, DIVYA!!!
Divya turns around and finds Kasturi.
Divya : Kasturi, tum??
She looks at Kasturi with a lot of remorse and guilt.
Kasturi : Divya, mein tumse kuch baat karnaa chahti hun. Chalo Coffee shop mei baith kar baath karte hai.
They go to a coffee shop, order some coffees and talk while sipping coffee. Divya apologizes to Kasturi for what happened. And Kasturi assures her that she has never held Divya responsible for what has happened to her. Divya thanks her for saying that.
Divya : Lekin, jab bhi mei Robbie bhaiyya ko dekhti hun, mera kaleja baitha jaata hai. Mujhe bahut darr lagtaa hai ki, kya woh iss sadme se kabhi baahar aa paayenge!!! Yeh sab kaise ho gayaa!!!
And tears start flowing from her eyes. Kasturi holds her hand.
Divya : Jahaan tak pyaar ka sawaal hai, lagtaa hai hum sab bhai-behen ki kismat bahut buri hai!! Mere saath joh dhoka hua, tum toh woh jaanti ho! Ab bhaiyya kaa bhi yahi haal hua aur Shivani didi ke baare mein toh sochke hi darr lagtaa hai!!!
Kasturi is surprised to hear Shivani's name again and asks Divya..
Kasturi : Divya, yeh Shivani kaun hai? Mujhe unke baare mein batao.
Divya : Shivani, meri didi hai. Woh Robbie bhaiyya aur mere beech ki, meri behen hai....
She suddenly gets a phone call from Robbie.
Divya : Bhaiyya!!!
Robbie : Divya, ek ghar mein rehte hue, tu mujhe phone pe message chod rahi hai??? Mere chot ke baare mein poochnaa hi tha, toh mujhse milkar nahin pooch sakti?? Meine kitni baar tumse milne ki koshish ki. Tum hamesha mujhse door rahti ho. Kya baat hai??? Ab tu bhi mujhe akela chodkar chali jaayegi??
Divya starts to cry and her voice is choked : Nahin bhaiyya, mei aapko kabhi nahin chodungi!! (Kasturi feels the sting of that statement) I am sorry, joh bhi hua uske liye mujhe maaf kee jiye!!!
Robbie : Pagli, teri issme koi bhi galti nahin thi. Agar, galti thi toh meri. (Robbie also gets emotional).
Divya : Ab aap kaise ho?
Robbie : Accha hun, almost poora recover ho gayaa hun. Sun, tu mujhse aake mil sakti hai abhi? Mei music studio mein hun.
Divya : Haan, mei abhi aati hun, bhaiyya!!!
They cut the call and Divya wipes her tears and tells Kasturi.
Divya : Sorry Kasturi, mujhe abhi jaana hai. Lekin iss baat-cheet ki wajah se meraa mann itnaa halka lag rahaa hai. Thank you very much.
Kasturi nods her head in agreement and they both get up. They hug. Kasturi wants to ask her something but will keep fidgeting. Finally, when Divya is about to leave she asks.
Kasturi : Divya, ab tumhaare bhaiyya kaise hai??
Divya : Woh acche hai, bhabhi......I mean, Kasturi.
They both look at each other a little shocked.
Divya : Sorry, ab mei chalti hun.


Meanwhile Raunak has reached the concerned shop in the mall. He goes in and talks to the manager and shows the bill and explains the situation.
Raunak : Kya jab bhi yeh lady apne kapde pickup karne ke liye aayengi, app mujhe itilaa kar sakte hai? Yeh hai meraa card.
Manager : Lekin, yeh lady toh already apne kapde le chuki hai.
Raunak : KYA!!!!!! (He is completely shocked).
Manager : Haan, woh aaj subah subah aayi thi. Kapde tayaar nahin hue the, lekin wo phir bhi leke chali gayee.

PART - 10

Raunak walks out of the store dejected and calls Mr.Arora
Mr.Arora : Haan Raunak bolo.
Raunak : She outsmarted me. Woh aaj subah hi kapde leke chali gayee.
Mr.Arora : Raunak, tum yeh kaise bhool gaye ki woh ek lawyer hai?? Please don't forget ki woh meri firm ki sabse smart attorney thi.
Raunak sighs with depression.
Mr.Arora : Itnaa niraash mat ho. Mujhe try karne do. Dekhta hun, ke mere contacts se kuch pataa kar saku. Bye.

Shaam mein, while Devika, Nandini, Puru, Dushyant and Raunak will be talking after dinner, Raunak gets a call from Dr.Murthy.
Raunak : Kahiye, Dr.Murthy?
Dr.Murthy : Raunak, kya tum fauran yahan aa sakte ho? Aaj Shivani kuch jyaada hi......
Raunak (in a tired manner) : Mei abhi aata hun.
He ends the call and notices everyone looking at him. He will look at his mom and they will exchange a meaningful look.
Puru (very frustrated) : Raunak, aaj tum nahin jaaoge. Yeh toh had ho gayee hai!!! Ab tumhaari shaadi hui hai. Aise aur kitne din chalegaa?
Devika (cuts him) : Hum ne yeh pehle bhi koshish kee thi. Kya hua? Maamlaa aur bhi bigad gayaa tha. Its best that he goes.
Dushyant : Bhabhi theek keh rahi hai. Raunak, beta jaakar aa jao.
Nandini looks with pain at Raunak as he leaves.

Raunak reaches a private hospital. He goes in to the mental ward. Everybody wishes him (aaprently he is well-recognised there).
Raunak reaches Dr.Murthy's room, knocks and goes in.
Dr.Murthy : I am so glad to see you Raunak! Aaj poora din woh bahut hi cranky rahi hai. Aakhir mein tumhe call karnaa hi padaa. I am sorry!
Raunak : Arre nahin Doctor, No problem. Chale?
Dr.Murthy : Haan, chalo.
They both leave and reach another room. Dr.Murthy opens the door and allows Raunak to enter.
A girl is sitting on a bed, her eyes closed, her hands tied. She hears the door open and opens her eyes to see Raunak and screams
RAUNAK, RAUNAK, RAUNAK, RAUNAK, RAUNAK, RAUNAK!!!!!! and starts crying.
Raunak quickly goes and sits next to her and pacifies her. He holds her, wipes her tears and shushs her.
She will continue to scream and cry. Raunak will keep saying
Raunak : mei aa gayaa hun, shhhh, ab chup ho jaao.
And he will stroke her hair and her face and try to calm her down.
At length, she will calm down.
Raunak : yeh kya, shivu, doctor saheb keh rahe the ke tum ne aaj bahut gadbad ki.
Shivani : Phir tum kahaan chale gaye the???
Raunak : Meine kitni baar bataaya tumhe, mujhe kaam par jaana padhta hai. Nahin toh hame paise kaun degaa? Phir tumhaare liye mei naye kapde kahaan se laaoonga?
Shivani : Lekin tum hamesha chale jaate ho.
Raunak : Accha aaj nahin jaaonga. Ab tum so jaao.
Shivani : Nahin!! Aaj nahin sooungi. tum chale jaaoge.
Raunak : Nahin, mei nahin jaaonga.
He will signal the nurse to switch the music system on and a soothing instrumental music composition will start playing. Slowly Shivani will relax.
Raunak will sit with her for half an hour, talking different things. Finally when she is completely calm, he signals the nurse and the nurse slowly gives Shivani an injection.
Within seconds, Shivani falls asleep. They lay her on the bed. Raunak looks at her with a lot of pain, sighs deeply and walks out.
Dr.Murthy is waiting for him in his office.
Dr.Murthy : How do you do it, Raunak?? Tumhe dekhte hi woh calm ho jaati hai.
Raunak just smiles and does not answer.
Dr.Murthy : Tumhe pataa hai mei yahaan 2 months ago join hua hun. Tabse, Shivani ko dekhkar mei bahut curious ho gayaa hun. If you don't mind, tum mujhe bataa sakte ho, Shivani aise kyun ho gayee?
Raunak (sighs) : Its a long story. Lekin aap pooch rahe hai toh bataata hun.

(Raunak will tell his past as a flashback)

Hum paancho - Alaana, mei, Robbie, Shivani aur Divya bachpan mei bahut kareeb the. Sab kuch ek saath karte the, Khaana, peena, khelnaa, sonaa, padhnaa.
Mei aur Robbie, we were inseparable. Robbie mujhse ek saal chota hai aur Shivani usse do saal choti. Divya sab se choti hai. Shivani, Robbie ki laadli thi aur Divya meri.
Jab shivani dus saal ki thi, ek din ek haadse mein uskaa left side of the body buri tarah jal gayaa tha. Uskaa poora left hand, thoda left side of the face aur left side of the stomach sab jal gayaa tha. Shivani ko uss haadse se nikalne ke liye bahut mahine lag gaye. She lost one year of school. Aur baad mei woh College mei join nahin hona chahthi thi kyunki she was scarred not only physically but mentally too.

Robbie koh music mei bahut interest tha. Woh bachpan se hi, gaane gaata tha, ussne school aur college mei kayee awards bhi win kiye. Dheere dheere uskaa interest music mei aur bhi jyaada badhtaa gayaa. Shivani ko bhi music bahut pasand tha. Dono milke bahut practice karte the. Ek din Robbie ko ek teen-music contest mei participate karne kaa maukaa milaa. Woh Shivani ko bhi saath le gayaa. Dono ne milkar zabardast performance diyaa. Lekin first prize nahi win ho sake, kyonki Shivani ka physical performance was not up to the mark. Iss se Shivani ek dam depress ho gayee aur thode dinon ke baad ussne suicide karne ki koshish ki. Robbie ekdam toot gayaa. Uss ne Shivani ko physciatrist ko dikhane ki baat ki. Pehle toh ghar mei kisine nahi maana, phir dheere se sab ne haami bhari. Shivani ke treatments shuru ho gaye.

Robbie ka career thabhi start ho rahaa tha, toh woh bahut busy ho gayaa. Puru uncle hamesha sharaab mei doobe rahthe the. Devika aunty koh hamesha business ki padi thi. Iss liye mei Shivani ke saath jyaada waqt bitaane lagaa. Usse appointments pe le jaata, baahar ghumaane le jaata etc. Do saal aise beet gaye. Mujhe ehsaas hi nahi hua ke Shivani mujhse pyaar karne lagi. Lekin mei Alaana, Shivani aur Divya ko hamesha apni behene maanta tha. Jab tak mujhe Shivani ki yeh galat-fehmi ke baare mei maloom padha, bahut der ho chuki thi. She became completely dependent on him. Meine usse bahut samjhane ki koshish ki, lekin woh samajhne lagee ke uske physical scars ke wajah se mei ussse pyaar nahi kartaa. Phir meine ghar mei sabko bataayaa. Sabne bahut samjhane ki koshish ki, but no use. Woh itni depression mei chali gayee ke usne phir ek baar khudkhusi ki koshish ki. Phir mujhe bhi haar maananaa padaa. And I started to act for everyone's sake that I cared about her.

Iss beech, meri mulaakat Neela Joshi se hui. Neela mere company ke law-firm ki ek attorney thi. Very smart, beautiful and talented. We fell deeply in love. Meine pehle hi Neela koh Shivani ke baare mei bataa diyaa. She was very sympathetic. Mei Neela ke saath jyaada samay bitaane lagaa. Shivani kaa paagalpan aur bhi badhne lagaa. Mei aur Neela itne close ho gaye, ke hamne shaadi karne kaa faislaa kar liyaa. Hum dono ne chupke se court mei shaadi karli. Yeh baat sirf meri maa jaanti thi. It was very important to hide this from Shivani. Aur agar hum ghar mei kisiko bataate, toh usse pataa chal jaane ka darr tha.

Aise 6 months beet gaye. Lekin Shivani ko mujhpe shak ho gayaa aur woh mujhe stalk karne lagee. Usse yeh nahi maalum that ke meri aur Neela ki shaadi ho gayi hai, lekin woh Neela pe bhi shak karne lagi.Aur phir woh Neela ko stalk karne lagee. Aur ek din usne Neela pe hamla kiyaa. Neela broke down completely and she started insisting ki, Shivani ko mental asylum mei admit kiyaa jaaye. Iss baat ke liye naahi mei, aur naahi maa tayyaar the. Meine kisi tarah Neela ko samjhaaya aur usse calm kiyaa. Lekin Shivani ne phir Neela pe hamlaa kiyaa. Iss baar haadse mei, Neela koh bahut chot aayee. And she could not handle it. Ussne ultimatum diyaa ki, yaa tho Shivaani ko asylum mei behj doh, ya woh chali jaayegi. Mei tab bhi Shivani ko bhejne ke liye tayyar nahi hua, toh ek din Neela, mujhe binaa bataaye chali gayi. Meine gusse mei Shivani ko daata toh ussne mujhpar attack kar diyaa. Phir ghar mei sabne usse asylum mei barti karne kaa faislaa liyaa. Meine Neela ko dhoondhne ki bahut koshish ki. Lekin woh nahi mili.

Meine ghar mei iss toote shaadi ke baare mei bataane ki zaroorat nahi samjhi. Tab se Shivani asylum mei hai, aur jab bhi usse aise daure padhte hai, woh mujhe dekhe baigar nahi samhalthi aur mujhe yahaan aana padhtaa hai.

(Back to the present)

Dr.Murthy (takes a deep sigh) : Bahut buraa lagaa yeh sunkar. But hats off to you Raunak. Aapne apni zindagi sacrifice kee hai Shivani ke liye. Lekin meine Robbie ko yahaan kabhi nahi dekha?
Raunak : Kyonki, woh apni sabse laadli behen ko iss haal mei kabhi nahi dekh saktaa. Lekin Shivani ka itnaa expensive care, ussi ki wajah se chal rahaa hai. Accha Doctor, ab mei chaltaa hun. Bahut der ho gayee hai.


He reaches home. Nandini will be waiting for him. Raunak will go and sit besides her. He is completely frustrated and says
Raunak : Maa, do din pehle mujhe Neela dikhi.
Nandini (totally shocked) : Kya??? Kahaan?
Raunak : Yahin dilli mei. Lekin woh mujhse baat kiye bagaair chali gayee. Mei usse dhoondhne ki koshish kar rahaa hun. Mujhe samajh mei nahi aa rahaa ke mei kya karu? Its such a mess.
Nandini (calms him down) : Nahi beta, don't worry. Sab kuchh teekh ho jaayega. Bhagwan pe bharosa rakh.

PART - 11

Meawhile, JP starts work at Sameer's boutique. Kaushalya and the kids are very excited about his job and relieved that they will not have to put up with Alka's taunts anymore.


All the arrangements for Robbie's upcoming concert trip are getting finalized.

Divya and Alaana will decide to throw a bash for Robbie before he leaves for the trip. So they will invite only family, a few very close friends and Robbie's band members to the party. They will decide to hold it in a club. The Senior Sabharwals and Singhanias will decide to skip as they will not feel upto late-night partying with the young crowd.
Divya will inform Raunak and Kasturi and invite them to the bash. Kasturi will refuse to come but Raunak will force her.
Raunak : Arre, yeh kyaa Kasturi?? Aao na, bahut mazaa aayega. Usually Robbie ki partiyaan bahut fun hoti hai. Tum office aur ghar ke sivaay, kahin baahar nahin jaati ho! Chalo, ye ek accha change hoga.
Kasturi relents and finally agrees to come. Divya will ask her if she wants to borrow some dress from her but Kasturi will say she will prefer to wear a saree.

On the day of the party, Kasturi will decide to wear a black saree with small embroidered red roses on the whole saree. The saree will be lovely. And she will wear simple jewellery. Small black earrings, just her mangalsutra and plain red glass bangles on her hands.

She will come downstairs. Raunak will see her but will not say anything. He is too pre-occupied with his own issues. Kasturi will feel bad that he did not say anything. But itne mei, Divya will scream........
Divya : OMG Kasturi, you look beautiful!!! Yeh samajh mein nahin aa rahaa hai ke yeh saadi mei tum sundar lag rahi ho, yaa yeh saadi tumhaare pehne ke wajah se sundar lag rahaa hai!!!!
Kasturi (smiles) : Thank you, Divya! Tum bhi bahut acci lag rahi ho.
Alaana and Nikhil will not comment.

They all will leave for the party. Robbie has already arrived at the party directly from his studio as he will be working very hard to finish his album.
The party will be picking up speed as they join it. Divya, Alaana and Nikhil will immediately join the dance floor. Kasturi and Raunak will stand back, enjoying from far. Robbie is on center stage ,dancing his heart out. Kasturi (and everybody else's ) eyes will be drawn towards Robbie. But he is oblivious that she has come to the party. He will dance with all the girls of his band one on one. The girls will be so happy!!! Some of the steps will need them to be very close to each other. Everytime this happens, Kasturi will feel a twinge of pain. She will be surprised and look away. She will wonder, Am I feeling jealous??? That is ridiculous. This is what i wanted, right? I wanted him to move on with his life and leave me alone. Then why should I feel bad now?? She will try to look away but her eyes will keep coming back to him.

Meanwhile, Raunak will get a call. He will step a little away to get away from the noise.
Raunak (with a lot of expectation) : Haan, Mr.Arora boliye.
Mr.Arora : Raunak, Are you ready for this? Neela ka pataa mil gayaa hai.
Raunak (filled with excitment) : Kahaan hai woh?
Mr.Arora tells him.
Raunak : Mei abhi jaaonga wahan.
Mr.Arora : Raunak, please think before you take any actions.
Raunak : Don't worry. I will be good. Aur Arora saahab, thank you so much!!!! Yeh ehsaan mei kabhi nahin bhoolunga.
He cuts the call and comes to Kasturi. Kasturi is surprised to see his excitment.
Raunak : Kasturi, I am sorry, lekin mujhe ek urgent kaam se baahar jaana hai. Please buraa mat maanana.
Kasturi : Lekin Sir, aap hi ke kehne par mei yahaan aayi. Agar aap jaa rahe hai tho, mujhe bhi ghar chod deejiye.
Raunak : Arre nahin, Kasturi. Kya baat kar rahi ho. Dekho yahaan kitnaa mazaa aa rahaa hai. Please ghar jaane ki baat mat karo.
And he will signal to Divya
Raunak : Divya, mujhe thoda baahar jaana padh rahaa hai. Tum Kasturi ka dhyaan rakho, please. Aur dono ghar waapas sahi salaamat pahunch jaana. OK?
Divya : OK. Bye, We will miss you.
Kasturi : Suniye, Sir........
But he has already rushed out.
Kasturi is a little angry, but she does not want to share it with Divya, so she says
Kasturi : Divya, tum jaao dance floor pe. Mei theek hun, mei yahaan baiththi hun.
Divya : Are you sure, Kasturi? Tum kahin bore toh nahin ho jaogi?
Kasturi : Nahin, mei theek hun. Tum jaao.
She goes and sits in the chairs next to the bar and she is lost in thoughts. Robbie gets very hot with all the dancing and takes a break and comes to grab a drink. He orders a drink and while waiting for it, looks around and his eyes fall on Kasturi who is sitting facing the other side. He snaps up, completely surprised and thinks yeh toh Kasturi jaise lag rahi hai!!! Kasturi suddenly feels his looks on her back and turns around to see... Her eyes meet Robbie's. Robbie is taken aback to see her. He will never expect that she will come to the party!!! He slowly walks towards her. Kasturi gets up as he approaches. He is mesmerized by her complete appearance. She looks ravishing and he is completely bowled over. He can hardly talk. He does not need to, as his eyes are doing all the talking!!! Kasturi can feel his appreciative look and she will blush, eventhough she will be trying hard not to. Robbie, can do nothing but stare at her and then at length he will come to his senses and say
R : Kasturi, tum yahaan??? Meine tumhe yahaan bilkul expect nahin kiyaa.
Kasturi : Woh, Raunak Sir, mujhe jabardasti le aaye.
R (looks around): Kahaan hai, Raunak?
Kasturi : Unhe achaanak koi kaam aa gayaa. Aur isliye chale gaye.
R : Aur tum yahaan ek dam bore ho rahi ho.
K : Aisi baat nahin hai, Sir, Waise bhi mujhe yun (points to the dance floor) dance karnaa pasand nahin hai.
Robbie looks at the dance floor and says
R : Wahaan nahi, lekin kya tum mere saath dance karogi?
K (suddenly gets flustered) : Woh.. woh its Ok sir, mei yahaan theek hun.
R signals to the DJ and sends him a request for a song. The DJ gets the request and shows the thumbs up.
Robbie extends his left hand to Kasturi and says
R : Please Kasturi, yeh party aaj mere liye dee gayee hai. Mujhe disappoint mat karo.
Kasturi looks at him for some moments and then slowly extends her right hand. He takes it and they move a little closer to the dance floor. The DJ has changed tracks, the lights are dimmed. Robbie slowly slides his hand behind her waist and holds her, his hand touching the side of her bare stomach. His touch will send electric waves in her and the color in her face will be really hightened. She will involuntarily tighten her hold on Robbie's hand. Robbie can feel it and looks away from her to give her a moment to recover. And then the following song will start to play. (Guys, this is a very beautiful song by Sir Elton John - "Something about the way you look tonight". Its a beauty!! You need to listen to it once if you have not, to understand the current situation.)

Robbie will look back at her. But Kasturi cannot meet his eyes. She will be so shy and unsure about her capability to control her feelings. They will slowly dance and after a little while K will look up at R. She can see his eyes sing every word of the song. And they both are completely lost in each other's eyes. By the time the song ends, they realize that they have moved very close to each other and can feel each other breathe.
Kasturi moves away. She is burning. She pulls her hands from Robbie's. When she is doing that Robbie notices for the first time that she is still wearing the ring he gave her!!! He glances at her surprised. But by then Kasturi has started to walk away . She steps out for some fresh air. Her mind is a complete blank and she is trying to make some sense, when she hears Robbie say from behind.
Robbie : Tum kyaa saabit karnaa chahti ho, Kasturi?
Kasturi (turns) : Kyaa matlab?
Robbie : abhi bhi meri ring pehni hui ho. Jab bhi choota hun, toh tumhe kuch hota hai. Jab bhi tumhaare paas aata hun, toh tumhaari dhadkane tej ho jaati hai. Jab bhi tumhe dekhta hun, toh meri aankhon mei kho jaati ho. Aur phir bhi tumhe inkaar hai???
Kasturi : Haan Sir, Inkaar hai. kyunki meri shaadi ho chuki hai. Aur aapkaa ring mere haath mei isliye hai, kyonki mei usse nikaal nahin paa rahi hun.
Robbie : Toh tumhaare liye, yeh rasme jyaada maaine rakhte hai? Dil ki sachaai nahi? Tum kehti ho meine tumhe dhokha diya. Tum Raunak ke saath zindagi, mujhe yaad karte hue guzaarogi, yeh tumhe dhokha nahin lagtaa? Aise karke tum Raunak ko aur khudh ko bhi dhokha de rahi ho!!!
Kasturi : mein aapko bhula doongi Sir
Robbie (smiles) : Koshish karlo Kasturi. Mei tumhaare mann mei iss tarah bas gayaa hun, ke tum mujhe kabhi bhula nahi paaogi. Mei theek uss ring ki tarah hun kasturi, jise tum nikaal nahi paaogi. Aur nikaalna chaaho to sirf dard milega aur khoon bahega, dil se.
(he grabs Kasturi by her waist and pulls her to him) : Waise mujhe bhulaane kaa mauka mei tumhe de rahaa hun. Kal mei apne tour par jaa rahaa hun. Ek mahine tak tumhe nahin dikhunga. Zaroor bhool jaana mujhe.

Suddenly, they hear footsteps. Kasturi will become tensed.
Kasturi : Chodiye mujhe, please koi aa rahaa hai. Sir, chodiye mujhe.
She will struggle, but Robbie will not leave her. Out of fear, that it might be Alaana or Nikhil or somebody who knows her, Kasturi will hide her face against him. Somebody will be just walking past and soon the footsteps will fade away. Kasturi will look up to him and turn her face away in anger.
Robbie will smile and bend down to kiss her cheek. Kasturi will not realize this and just then she will turn her head back to him and by accident Robbie will kiss her lips instead of her cheek. Both will be shocked. Robbie will let go of her and apologize.
Kasturi will stare at him angrily.
Robbie (on a more serious note) : kal shaam ke cheh baje, meri flight hai. Agar tum airport ko aaogi, toh mujhe bahut khushi hogi.
Kasturi : Mei nahi aaongi
Robbie : Soch lo Kasturi. Mei yeh maan rahaa hun, ke tum aaogi, toh mei wapas sahi salaamat aaungaa, nahi toh yahi hamaari aakhri mulaakat hogi.
He gives her an intense look and walks away. Kasturi is shocked to hear him say that and will stare after him.

That night, after returning from the party, Kasturi will change and will be hanging her saree in the closet when she notices her green dress. In frustration, she will grab all her green colored dresses and sarees, bundle them and put them in a suitcase and put the suitcase away. She will be mad at Robbie for overwhelming her everytime!!!

That night, Kasturi will dream of Robbie's plane crashing and she will jolt out of her sleep screaming his name. She will be scared and shaking. She will hug herself for support. After a while, she will calm down and look around and notice that Raunak is not in the room. She will wonder where he is. She will lie down again but will not get a wink of sleep.
