Part 13 IN KASTURI'S HOUSE
*Kasturi shows Raunak his room, and he thanks here, the thought of telling him her feelings crosses her mind so she stands there doing nothing, he finally sees her looking and smiles and walks up to her*
Raunak: Kasturi kya hua? kuch kehna tha?
Kasturi: nahin woh bus...actually kuch kehna tho tha likyan malum nahin kaisa kahun
Raunak: aara, dont be shy, jo baath hai woh bathao
Kasturi: likyan, itna ehsaan nahin hai
Raunak: acha? tho ek kam kartha hun, ill turn around and you can tell me okay?
Kasturi: hai...yeh teek raha ga
*Raunak turns around and smiles, kasturi just stares at the back of his head for a minute and closes her eyes*
Kasturi: woh, jab sa na...patha nahin kahan sa shura hun...woh tumse maina, woh main...pasand...main tume pasand
*Robbie walks in*
Robbie: Raunak buddy!
*Raunak turns around and so does kasturi to look at robbie, raunak smiles and motions him to come in, raunak looks at kasturi who looks at the ground dissapointed and raunak gives her a dissapointed look*
Robbie: raunak chal na yaar, lets go have fun! maina tume kitna dino bath dekha
raunak: hai likyan robbie...
robbie: likyan kuch nahin, chalo mera sath
raunak: ek minute, let me get my jacket
*Robbie walks out but waits by the door, he purposely stepped in on raunak and kas so kas couldnt say nething*
Raunak: kasturi woh tume kya kehna tha?
Kasturi: *still looking at ground* kuch nahin, phir kabhi
Raunak: *puts his hand on kasturi's shoulder and nods and then walks off*
*Kasturi sees him walking away and sighs and looks at her shoulder where raunak touched and smiles, and then giggles and leaves the room. Robbie, sees her running happily down the hall when he was goin down teh stairs and for some reason gets some strange feeling in his gut*
*Later that evening after dinner, the family is sitting outside and navneet, tanu, kasturi, robbie, raunak and reluctantly pooja decide to play cricket. Its Kasturi's turn to bat and she doesnt really know how*
Raunak: come on kasturi! Oi robbie, zor sa math marna
Robbie: *rolls his eyes at raunak since hes competetive but since he cant throw the ball too hard since kasturi isn't that good at cricket*
*Kasturi goes up to the plate and misses two balls, and robbie says maybe they should have another batter but raunak tells robbie to hold on a minute and goes to kasturi himself*
Raunak: kasturi tumari position teek nahin hai...lo main tume sika tha hun kaisa batting kar tha haan
*Raunak shows kasturi how to hold the bat and tells her some tips on how to hit the coming ball, robbie gets frustrated and so does navneet and they start complaining to continue the game. Kasturi holds the bat again and its the wrong position again, and raunak laughs, navneet grunts and robbie rolls his eyes again while Tanu giggles like crazy and pooja looks at her nails*
*Then Raunak goes up to kasturi and asks if he can show her, he says only if she trusts him, she looks at him for a while and they stare at each with so much passion and she just nods and then he takes her hands into his and they both hold the bat and he shows her how to swing it, kasturi turns around to look at raunak's face which is so close to her and raunak notices everyone else looking and tells her shes good to go.*
*Meanwhile Robbie watching all this for some reason gets kind of angry and the game begins again, and for some reason he throws the ball as quick as possible venting his anger on the ball and it goes flying and hits kasturi's leg and she screams*
Navneet: Kasturi di!
Pooja: wow!
*Everyone looks at Pooja*
Pooja: i mean wow, zaada chot tho nahin lagi?
*Kasturi sits on the ground holding her leg and Robbie and raunak rush over, robbie kneels on the ground beside her*
robbie: sorry kasturi woh, patha nahin kaisa...
Kasturi: dont worry, bus aab mujhe nahin lagtha ka main kaad paun gi (i wont be able to play)
Tanu: chalo kasturi di
*Kasturi tries to get up but is still a little weak in the knees and raunak lends him her hand and put her arm around his shoulder and helps her walk to the house, she looks at him and he looks at her and while they walk they keep staring*
Navneet: chalo robbie, game phir sa shuru kara
Robbie: nahin mood nahin hai *robbie walks off towards the house and navneet looks sadly at the empty ground and runs to the house with everyone else*
LATER THAT NIGHT IN KASTURIS ROOM
*Robbie walks in and kasturi is lying on her bed reading, he knocks on the door*
Kasturi: robbie, aao andar
robbie: kasturi woh, sorry patha nahin
kasturi: kuch nahin hotha, accident tho hotha ratha hain
robbie: yea likyan tumko kafi chot lagi hai
kasturi: kuch nahin, doctor katha hain, ek do din main teek ho jaya gi
robbie: actually mom na mujhe yeh cream thi hai tumara liye, she feels really bad
kasturi: thanks
robbie: yeh meri book par rahi ho
kasturi: yea kafi achi hai
robbie: acha
*Looks around the room and finds and picture of kasturi when she was young and starts laughing*
kasturi: kya hua?
robbie: tum kafi moti hothi thi
kasturi: *grabs the picture*
robbie: *still laughing and blows up his face to make it look fatter and then kasturi starts laughing too*
*Right then Navneet walks in and puts kasturi's food (which kasturi wanted because she skipped dinner) and runs off yelling shes going to miss the cricket match, kasturi laughs at her excitement and begins eating, robbie watches her, her hair strand keeps coming in her face and kasturi who has gotten her hands dirty with the chawl (she likes to eat them with her hands old school style 😆 ) cant move the hair so she keep flipping it back but its goes in the front again. Robbie laughs and then takes the strand and tucks it behing her ear for her, kasturi looks up at robbie and they both stare at each other for a moment*
*Suddenly Raunak walks in*
Raunak: hey guys, woh saab lok mujhe meri trip ka bara main itna poochi gaya...tum saab kya kar raha ho
Kasturi: kuch nahin, aao na raunak
*Raunak walks up and sits beside kasturi on the bed, and she looks at him and smiles and he does back. Robbie feeling a bit unwelcomed gets up and begins to walk off.*
Raunak: robbie tum kahan ja raha ho?
Robbie: woh bus, kuch phone call karni thi
*Robbie leaves*
Raunak: acha, tho aab bathao ka tum mujhe aaj suba kya kehna chathi thi
kasturi: *shakes her head* kuch nahin
raunak: come on kasturi, kya hai?
kasturi: *looks down at the bed her cheeks turning a bit red* woh...nahin main nahin batha thi
raunak: come on kasturi
kasturi: nahin nahin nahin!
Alka: RAUNAK BETA! *shouts from downstairs*
Raunak: chalo phir kabhi tumse yeh bath nikaal lun ga (ill get it out of you another time)
Kasturi: *smiles as raunak heads up the stairs and then heres an old hindi song playing, one of her favouritea actually and she gets up with and drags herself out of the bed to see where the music was coming from, she followed the music and it lead her to none other than Mr.Robbies room*
Kasturi: yeh ghana kitna acha hai na?
Robbie: *notices kasturi and turns down the music* hain one of my favourites
kasturi: tumara bi! mera bi...aur raunak ka bi
robbie: *fake smiles at kasturi because he knows this is not one of raunak's favourite songs nor is he really into old music*
*Then Robbie makes kasturi sit on the couch in the room and asks about her leg several times before she keeps insisting its okay, and then robbie becomes his joker self and makes kasturi laugh alot and she cracks funny jokes that make him laugh alot too because most of the other girls he is usually with are just boring and cant really hold a conversation if it isnt about make up or the latest dance track or why they think he looks so handsome, finally she leaves.*
NEXT MORNING
*Kaushalya serves everyone breakfast along with kasturi and then later after everyone is done, she brings gajar ka halwa. kasturi smiles because its her favourite dish, and its is also raunaks (which is actually robbie DUH?!) and kaushalya serves it to everyone*
Raunak: nahin aunty mujhe na thana, woh main pehla sa hi full hun
Devika: likyan behenji aap robbie ko zaroor thi jiya ga, robbies favourite food is this, ever since he was young, uska pat (stomach) main gajar ka halwa ka liye tho hamasha room tha!
*Everyone laughs and Kaushalya says kasturi also loves it*
Raunak: *whispers to kasturi* meeti cheez meeta lokon (people) ka liye
*Kasturi smiles at the comment, and looks at robbie literally stuffing it down his mouth and giggles*
