Episode 61 5th October 2005

Palomi and Yash talk and Palomi discusses the fears Amrik has of their relationship. Yash is silent and maybe taken aback.

Bhaskar comes to meet Anand and Anand is so confused, he is concerned for both, while Bhaskar is worried only of Piya. Anand notices this and yells at Bhaskar.

Piya discusses her life and future direction with her parents and gently explains to them why she needs to be independent.

Dolly informs Anands mom that Ratna has vanished and thats all over the TV. Mom loses her patience and tells her off.

Anand gets a call from the police station.

Episode 62 Oct 10th 2005

Piya is in her house, when her mobile rings. She is shocked to hear the news and says Anand.



Akash arrives at a restaurant and is seated at a table.



Piya arrives at Anands home and finds Anand in bed. Bhaskar was with Anand. Doc was examining him and explains to Piya that he is over worked and stressed and tells her to take care of Anand. Piya explains to him and the doc that life is just once, and its all upto him how he lives his life. She felt that the company he kept these days if probably responsible for the condition. The doc urges her to take off for a few days and stay by his bedside and take full care of him.



Akash is waiting in the restaurant. Theresa says there is nothing at home. Piya asks her why there is nothing at home and she replies that no one eats at home, so there is nothing there.



Palomi and Yash talk and Palomi wants to meet his parents etc. and finalise marriage plans. Yash is uncomfortable. Palomi insisits and invites him for tea



Akash gets a call from Rhea, who asks about his date. Akash says she has not come. Rhea advices him that she is taking him for granted and she does not like it. Akash consoles her and asks her to go to sleep.



Anand and Piya are in their house, when Piya gets a message on her mobile, she had then gone to make Anand some soup and Anand picks up her mobile. He sees a message from Akash and gets jealous and asks Piya when she comes. Piya first tells him that she and Akash are serious about each other, they have been since childhood etc. Anand gets upset hearing about it and Piya tells him that Akash and she are good friends and nothing more and if she develops any feelings for anyone, she would tell him.



Piya tells him that Ratna is a vagabond personality and she has lived her life as such. Anand is shocked to hear about Ratna from Piya and asks her. Piya replies that Ratna is a famous person and people keep tab of her, she is reported in paper etc. and then says that Dolly had come and she told her. Anand is upset to hear Dollys name.



Meantime Wasim is worried for Ratna. Ratna calls Anand and Anand inquires where she is. She does not reply.

Episode 62 Oct 10th 2005

Episode 63 11th October 2005

Piya overhears Anand talking on phone to Ratna and on seeing Piya, Anand puts the phone down.

Rhea and Dadaji are talking about Akash and Aunty and dadaji consoles her. Akash waits for Piya in the restaurant and eventually leaves the place.

Sara and her father discuss Piya and Ratna and their problems.

Piya eventually arrives at the restaurant and finds Akash gone. Piya asks the waiter for him and is told he has just left and he had left a letter for her. The waiter tells Piya that he had nothing to eat and just drank water and left.

Wasim and Ratna are sitting and talking when Anand arrives, all red eyed etc. Ratna walks to him and they hug. Anand wants to know where she had gone and Ratna says she is sorry for having left him and gone.

Rhea is sitting when Akash arrives home. Rhea greets him happily and inquires about the Aunty. Akash is weary and says Aunty did not come. Rhea says she is hungry and asks about Akash. Akash says he is hungry and they both go to the kitchen to eat something before going to bed.

Anand and Ratna again, Anand apologises to her… asks her to promise she wont do this ever again etc. I hated the scene. The idiot is so confused. How can he go and apologise to her…. Man, I am so angry…

Sara and Mohan have their usual argument… nothing interesting again.

Anand and Ratna again discuss marriage etc. Wasim is getting married to Samaya and Ratna informs him about it. While discussing, Anand again loses his head and yells at her that she is forever obsessed with the word of marriage and security, that he is tired of this, that he is fed up of it….

Akash puts Rhea to sleep (wonder why Piya could not call him on his mobile)….. Just as he finishes with her, the bell rings and Akash opens the door to find Piya there.

Epsiode 64 October 12th 2005

Piya comes to apologise with a gift in her hand. Akash is at first a lil rukha… a lil cold with her, tells her its ok etc.. but Piya apologises profusely. She inquires about Rhea and Akash says that she has gone to sleep after waiting for her all this while. Piya is apologetic and it slips out of Akash that she was upset that the woman her father likes makes him wait so much. Piya is surprised to hear this, and Akash immediately apologises for it. Akash takes Piya into Rhea's room where she is sleeping. Piya is reluctant to wake up the sleeping child and leaves the gift by the bedside and leaves without seeing her face. They discuss what to do next and Piya says they might go for dinner. Piya asks him why he did not call on her mobile, and Akash said her phone was off. Piya checks her phone and finds it in off mode and again apologises for it



Palomi tells Amrik to come and pick her up from a restaurant at 3 in the morning. Amrik refuses. Palomi insisits and he says he will pick her up at midnight and gives her advice about Yash. Unheedingly, Palomi brushes aside his arguments and goes. Piya and Akash go to a restaurant and Piya spots Palomi enter with Yash. Piya is shocked to see Palomi there and so is Palomi.



Anand and his mom discuss something and Piya comes there. She does not reveal Palomis secret. When Piya is with Anand, she gets a call from Akash, who wants her to speak with Rhea. In a rather terse voice, Piya tells Akash she will call him back and in the same tone, also tells him that she will speak to Rhea later. Akash is puzzled and puts the phone down. He seemed disappointed.



Piya and Anand talk and Piya advices Anand to get married to Ratna and settle down.



Ratna is pondering and anands words ring in her ears repeatedly.

Epsiode 65 13th October 2005

Piya tells Anand about Palomi being inebriated last night at the restaurant and her closeness to Yash. Piya remarked that she was behaving too close to Yash, which is not good for her. She wanted Anand to give her more attention and love, which she needs in this age, and in the absence of this at home, she was bound to look for it outside. She says that their parents are too old and there is a huge generation gap between her and her parents and it was for anand to bridge the gap and give her the attention and love she needed. She does not realize that Anands mom was standing and overhearing the whole thing. Piya reiterates that Anand must give her the time. Anand expresses his helpnesses as Piya always looked after these things. Piya loses her cool and reminds him that earlier she looked after 99% of the things and anand maybe 1, but now that she is not living there anymore, she cannot do these things anymore and Anand must pull himself together to do all this. She advices him that his life cannot revolve around Ratna and he must attend to this. She turns and finds Mom there and apologises for it. Mom lets out her frustrations and says that now the whole society is mocking her and she cannot take it anymore. Piya advices Anand to console him Mom and goes to get water.



Palomi is waiting for Amrik, who comes there, but refuses to meet her at Manjrekars place as he was not willing to lose his marks over her. Palomi goes to Manjrekars studio to meet Yash, but is rudely told by him that Yash is only his client and he knows not where Yash is. Palomi is surprised to hear these words from Manjrekar, but reluctantly leaves the place. After she leaves, Yash comes out with an evil smile on his face.



Akash comes to see his dadaji, who advices him to inform Piya about his feelings lest some one else comes along and steals her again. He advices Akash not to let life slip thru his fingers.



Palomi is in her room, on her bed, when her mom comes to give her breakfast. Seeing her downcast face, mom asks her about her mood, and asks her why her mood is bad the last few days, that she is concerned for her. The doorbell rings and mom goes to see.



Piya and Akash are sitting in a restaurant and generally chit chat. Akash asks about her mood and Piya says mood is not constant and she decided to go ahead and live her life. Akash asks her about the movie and she replies that it was only a movie and she enjoyed it. Akash said the movie was better becos she was with him during the movie and he enjoyed movies better when he was with company. Piya intentionally adopts a flighty attitude and tells him that she was only watching a movie and nothing else and it would not have bothered her even if she was with some one or not or even if the seat was empty.



Palomi receives flowers from Yash, the flowers are received by Mom who is upset and says that Palomis dad will be upset to see it. Palomi quietly takes it, sees the note with the flowers and starts crying. Mom in the meantime, leaves.



Piya and Akash are talking and Piya says Akash will ask her a barrage of questions about when and why and where she is going. Akash says he wont ask and he need not ask. They get talking of destiny and get nostalgic about their school days, when they walked to school together. They talk about when Akash spoke to other girls in school, Piya never liked it and Piya said that she was possessive of him in school since he was her friend and did not like it when he spoke to others. Something goes into Piyas eyes which start watering and Akash offers his handkerchief to wipe it. He blows on the handkerchief and holds it to her eyes, which is seen by Aand who had walked into the hotel. Akash sees him and is surprised and so is Piya. Anand turns his face away.

Episode 66 October 17th 2005

Piya and Akash see Anand and he goes off in anger. Akash is apologetic about his actions provoking Anands reaction. Piya tells him not to feel bad, that there is nothing there to feel bad either, Anand has his own life now and he should not react as such. Akash feels very bad about the whole thing and Piya tells him not to think such things, that they are childhood friends and he should not apologise. Akash wants to ask something, but Piya tells him not to feel bad. Piya wants to call Anand and Akash offers to go out for a while. Piya tries him, but does not get him. She called his mom and asks fro Anand. Mom says he is not home and hasn't come home either for past two days. Piya tells her about what happened in the Restaurant and Mom asks her if there is anything serious between the two of them. Piya refutes it saying they were childhood friends. Akash comes back to the table just as Piya finishes her call and they leave the place. Piya puts on a mask on her face as she tells Akash that everything is fine and she is not upset.



Anand comes to Ratnas place, where she asks him for money. She explains that she had some problems with her previous publisher, that they had some difference of opinion and she has pulled out and given to a new publisher, who wants an advance. She explains that she did not want to ask Dadaji or Samaya, as it was her expense. She asks him for money and say that they are together, that she wanted to bear her own expense, but since she had less money at that point of time, she is asking him for it, as they are now together and after marriage, they will be one and everything between them will be one as well. She then details some more expenses which she needs money for and Anand cuts her saying that she does not need to explain why she needs the money. Ratna asks him as to why his tone is rather cold and rude… Anand has no answer.



Anand says that he is just busy in some thought. Ratna asks him whats his thoughts and Anand says that he is worried about his work. Anand wants something to eat, but there is nothing at home. Ratna says that she had asked the servant to get something, but she cant concentrate on all these things. Anand says that she is the mistress of the house and the servant is only the servant and cannot be expected to take care of all this. Ratna refuses saying that she cant be bothered with all this and since anand is hungry, they go out to eat.



Akash talks to Dadaji and says he knows all about Piya and Anand, that he figured out who is Geethas friend. Akash and Dadaji have some discussion on Piya in his life etc.



Anand goes to sit down and spies a picture of Ratna hugging Wasim and gets angry. Anand is looking at the photos when Ratna arrives there and tells him loudly that its not good manners to read others letters. Ratna repeats herself and Anand tells her that its not good manners to read others love letters not personal lettes. Anand accuses her of being close to Wasim. Ratna says that Anand was well aware that she had a relationship with Wasim and was to marry him and in the heat of emotions have written many letters. Anand and ratna have a big argument about Wasim and her feelings for him, of Piya and Anands feelings for her and everything else. Ratna gives it back to Anand good and tells him to stop blaming her for everything, that if he wanted to continue a relationship with her, its fine, else he could leave….



Preview: Akash is explaining something to Rhea. Piya arrives at Ratnas house and says that in all her life she has never asked Anand for any explanations and she did not intend to start now and whats happening between them is best left between them alone and she does not want part

Episode 67 October 18 2005

Ratna and Anand fight over Anands guts and whether he will at all hit Piya like how he raises his hands on Ratna all the time.



Piya walks in and Ratna takes off on her as well. Ratna goes on yelling at her. But Piya tells her that she has nothing to do with their life and she is not concerned with them. Ratna goes on and on and Piya reminds them that they are educated, reminds Anand that he is an architect and cannot behave like a bazarru person. Ratna says that the talks are out that it's a marriage of experimentation, Anand experimenting a relation with Ratna and Piya with Akash. Piya says she does not want to get dirty by participating in it. Ratna gets vulgur and Anand comes to Piyas rescue. Piya says that she does not believe in fighting and she cannot enter this fray, that if he does not love her, no point in continuing their relationship. Piya says that she cannot be there anymore and leaves the place.



In between this Vasu and Karan fight and when Vasu confronts him, Karan says he has bepanaah mobabbat for Piya, junooni mohabbat for Piya. Vasu tells him it his problem and she cannot be concerned with all that.



Akash thinks of all that Piya and Dadaji told him earlier.



Amrik and Palomi discuss Yash and Palomi is tearful. She is upset that Yash did that with her. Amrik promises to take revenge and promises to support her against Yash.



Geethas friend tells her that if she falls out of love, you cant leave the town and run away. Geetha says that her family is in Benaras and she wants to go be with them. Her friend chides her for running away at a time like this, away from her successful career, etc. Geetha is upset that Akash had never told her he did not love her. Her friend tells her that she is wrong in her thought becos Akash had never told her that he ever loved her and it was entirely her imagination and nothing else. Geetha confesses that she is more upset that Akash loves Piya and not her. Her friend gives it to her and tells her a few home truths that she is a loser for thinking like this, for being so small minded etc. They argue and her friend says that today, despite she being the doc, it was the friend who had to councel her…. She reminded Geetha that she had advied Piya that life continues… and that applies to her as well.



Karan and vasu argue and Karan offers to promptly marry her. Vasu says he needs a mental asylum and not marriage. Vasu tells him that he has gone mad. Karan pretends to be forcing her to accept marriage and when she refuses, he immediately drops his mask and says if Vasu does not want his offer of marriage, he is ok with it. He threatens Vasu not to talk to Piya about it, but Vasu does not listen to him.



Karan and Vasu continue arguing about Piya and Anand and their relationship and his frustrations on seeing Piya and Anand together. He says that he has played his cards such that Ratna would never allow Anand to be peaceful in life and has sown such seeds that they will never be happy ever. Vasu is angry.



Anand is waiting at home when Ratna arrives and Anand asks her about the tests and Ratna says that the test results are positive, that she is pregnant. Anand is shocked (his deadpan expression again actually)

Episode 68 19 October 2005

Anand tells Ratna not to bring the child into this world. Ratna is shocked and said that he should not make that request of her. She says she is willing to go away forever, she wont let that child ever know who his parent is. She says dont ask this of me, for she is not even demanding Anand now. She says she wants nothing but the child anymore. Anand repeats that she must not bring that child into this world, and Ratna entreats him to reconsider. Ratna says she longs for a family of her own, her parents, her husband, her child.. she says she had none of them, but she cannot live with a child of her own. She says that she can live without anything but the child and entreats Anand not to demand that of her.

Piya recollects Ratnas harsh words when she gets a call from Akash. He wants to meet her, but Piya is reluctant. He inquires about Anand and Piya assures him that everything is fine. On Akashs insistence, she reluctantly agrees to meet him that day, despite her misgivings in doing so.


Akash and Geetha talk and Akash tells her that she should not base her decisions on him and on what he feels etc. Geetha tells him that eventually she would prefer to go back to Banares and settle down there. Geetha tells him that in all this years, she had kinda based her dreams around him, that she always thought that they had grown close over a period of time, that she would one day come to that house as a daughter in law, as a mother of Rhea, as a wife to Akash. He reminds her that he never once in all this time, ever promised her that he loved her or would marry her. Geetha says yes, he did not, but she built her dreams around him. Akash tells her not to bring Piya in between their relation, but Geetha tells him that she is not. She reminds Akash that she had a patient about whom she had spoken to him.. thats Piya. Piya knew that she had a dream man in her life and had told Geetha as well about some man in her life. Lil did Geetha know that the man would be Akash. Akash reiterates that she must not hold him responsible for it.

Ratna and Anand again discuss about their lives and complications.

Palomi tries to commit suicide and Amrik foils her plan and gives her good for even trying it. Amrik tries to advice her that whats happened is over and she should not feel bad. Suicide is for the weak minded and not the strong. Palomi feels very low and upset, but Amrik assuages her and makes her feel better. They get back to being normal.

Geetha and Akash speak about his feelings for Piya and Akash says that people never speak about their feelings to the people they love the most. He decides to go and speak about his feelings to her. At that time, Piya arrives there to hear the end of the conversation.

Anand and ratna again share some discussions and eventually Anand admits that Ratna could never become Piya. He admits that it is true that when he is with Ratna he did think of Piya. He says there is no comparison between the two, that she is much much better. He says that when they married Piya was almost a child, not a woman. She evolved as a woman in his life. When she got married, she knew nothing of life or men. She liked him and got married to him, without any thought of the consequences. He tells her that Piya married him and then slowly grew up, she became a wife, a daughter in law, she became his life.. and he still loves her that he will lover her forever. Ratna nods her head Anand says he has eventually gathered the courage to tell her that he loves Piya and will never stop loving her and she can never ever match upto Piya.
