Akash tells Piya that he does love her, that he had been mustering courage to tell her, that he always loved her…. That if anything was missing inhis life, it was her… and this "kami" was always there in his life. Piya asks for time to think over it, as she knows not how to react. Piya tells him that it was necessary for her to build walls around her heart, it was most important to her, to keep her distance from the rest of the world, and but for those walls around her, she would have made her life up for scrutiny by others. She says that these walls are in place today also, becos of Anand. Akash wants to tell her his feelings but Piya refuses. But Akash insists on telling, that he wanted to get his feelings off his chest, he confesses that he loves her and wishes to marry her. Piya is shocked.
Bhaskar and Anand talk about his work, Bhaskar tells him that Batra depended on him and tells him to get back to working. Anand realizes and confesses to Bhaskar that he wants his life back, he wants to design those buildings, that he wants his career back, his wife Piya back, his unborn child back….
Akash and Piya talk and she is adamant that she does not want to meet him or be with him etc. Akash tells her that he knows she loves him, that she wants to be with him… Piya refuses to acknowledge that, but Akash insists on it, that he has seen the love in her eyes, that Anand is not in her life anymore that Anand is out of her life and that he wants to marry her. Piya is shocked on hearing all this and walks away.
Anand tells Bhaskar that he destroyed his life with his won hands. Bhakkar is happy to hear Anand say this. Anand terlls him that he would have to tell Ratna as well, that he had giveh her a lot of hope but he cannot do it now. He says he will tell her that to forgive him for all he had done and hope for the best.. Anand tells Bhaskar to talk to Batra about his job. Bhaskar is thrilled and promises to immediately to speak to Batra.
Piya is lost in her thoughts when the door bell rings and when she opened, she finds Akash there.
Ratna comes to meet Anands mom and requests her that she has come only to tell her that she is going away and wants to leave in a good way, that she does not want her to think of her badly, that she is out of Anands life for good and Piya and Anand will get back together. Anands mom is skeptical and says that if only life would be like that, but Ratna is hopeful and takes her leave.
Akash is full of remorse that in speaking his mind that he may have lost a friend, that he is upset that she is ignoring him and he would love to be in her life, even if it means staying as a friend in her life. Piya does not answser and Akash is perplexed with her reaction. Piya asks him to leave her alone.
Akash says he had come becos he felt bad that he had made her unhappy, had caused her unhappiness, he says to forget all that he had told her, that he had ever looked at her with any other intention other than a friend… and says that if she continued to react the way she did, he would never forgive himself. Piya asks for time to assimilate all this, that she needed time to pull her thoughts together, becos she was no doll which can be pulled either way… She promises him that their friendship will never break… she was not like that, but she needs some time to think of all this, that its too fast for her, but she needs time to think and be alone.
Anand asks Ratna about what her future is to be. Ratna says she does not know what her future will be like and entreats him not to sympathise with her, she says its all over between them, she tells him not to be sorry, that it was both their fault, not his alone and therefore he should nto be sorry. Anand does not want her to go to London, and Ratna says that Wasim is also going to London, that he is her good frined, that she will still bear this child, that she will never ever meet him in this life, that she will never let their paths cross and prays that he finds happiness with Piya soon and settles down back in life.
