Bajaj's first and Foremost Role was to Fillup for the gap of HK leaving KZK2, they needed a Villain to sustsin the reboot. When the Storyline actually showed some differentiation aka Crazy Anurag , they somehow managed to bring Kitchen Politics Bajaj Family and ruined to show that Baja can be the Mature Sane Person Prerna Needed. They made Bajaj even more cuckoo than Anurag was.

Then again came scheduling conflict , Baja exited and Sonalika Entered and I do not know how KZK2 became Amnesia Zindagi Kay and then Phenko Prerna ko Nadi mein Taaki vo BachbJaye, then when BAM Merman Baja Entered Pandamic happened and here we are.

What KZK2 actually made different.

1. Gave Anurag the Voice he subdued Earlier, His Madness made him toxic and different on addition to being Spineless. He was made into a Volcano. I appreciate this change otherwise Anurag simply spineless would have been utterly boring.

2. Made Komolika A Banshee tuned upto 100% and with a Comic Timing. This is a Self Obessed Narcisstic Komolika who is not a Goldigger but Anurag Basu Chaser.

3. They made Bajaj way more Illogical than Before, Even if in many a sense he was a Better shaped up character than Anurag this time around but Screenwriters did not know how to actually Establish and Distinguish him enough from the Actor's Persona IMO.

4.They made the show Regressive than it was 20 yrs ago.Majorly Butchering Prerna as a charcater.

Well that's what happened. In this supposed ,the most bakwas love story ever conceived, how cud bajaj be possibly better than any of them. Although his original role was to offer an alternative partner for pre to take her away from the toxic love , it never happened and well , sab kuch hi zeher jaisa prateet hota hai kzk2 mein

This is where the problem started. They had to get a new villain ASAP coz the concept Of kzk doesn't allow for anupre to be together happily/ get married. So they brought in Bajaj without any head or tail idea of what to do with him. How to take his character forward. They miscalculated the nostalgia factor of the viewing audience big time. And if they really thought that the audience will welcome the twist prerna sacrificing and marrying Bajaj to save Anurag, knowing it's a copy of the first season, then I seriously question ektas business acumen and her understanding of her audience.

I believe that the purpose of Bajaj was to spice up the show because AnuPre was on the verge of their reunion post Komo's downfall, and they repeated the story-line of season 1 which led to the major rejection of Bajaj by the viewers.

What Ekta and the channel needed to understand is that in 2020, nobody, I repeat nobody in their sane mind would have accepted a 21-22 year old pregnant lady marrying a man in his 40s with kid/s upon being forced and blackmailed, this is wrong, it was wrong when it happened in season 1, it is still wrong, regressive and outright shameful for the writers to even think about making it romantic after a month or two of the forced marriage. I am so thankful that this track was rejected, she never loved or wanted to be with Bajaj, I mean what is the difference between Naveen and Bajaj then? Both were older than Anupre, both forced her to marry , one of them out of lust and the other one out of his non-existent love for his mute daughter, like how is any of this romantic ? After that Prerna was expected to fall in love with Bajaj and think that Basus are toxic? So dealing with a toxic mother in law is worse than living with a toxic 40 year old selfish blackmailer as a piece of trophy? So being in love with a spineless Anurag who saved her from being trafficked by Naveen, who demeaned his own reputation to save her late father's assets is worse than tolerating frustrated, old and lonely man who needs a nanny for his daughter and finds that romantic? Anurag could be spineless, but he is not a hypocrite, he did not get Prerna by forcing or blackmailing her, she fell for him because of him being flawed yet honest and selfless he has always been.

The Bajaj track did not work in this season because, it was noting new, viewers have already seen original AnuPre being separated for eternity and dying, so they were never interested in a repeat of the same regressive and sadistic pleasure of seeing Anurag suffer and Prerna blaming him wrong happening to her.

Also I personally felt that the actor's limited schedule of shooting for only a specific amount of time and hyping him for no reason also worked against the character. I was not very impressed with his performance, I guess i had high expectations due to the hype, later on everything was mediocre, be it the writing, execution, performance and of course the reception too.

Absolutely correct.

The forceful attempts to establish BaPre was the biggest reason this character became what he is. Because eof this he was not developed as anything more than Prerna ka aashiq with his one sided love. His equations with the Basus, his daughter, even his past could've been explored to give him some depth and layers. Instead all he was used for was prerna's mentor/bodyguard.

I pity on kzk2🤣 on my myth

I just thought atleast wapis leke aaye post track1 being badly rejected by all. That ekts might have brought him back to give some meat to his role atleast have hands in sneha missing...

But no 😆 cvs dnt have time to even show that
