Bjaj purpose is absolutely no purpose just previous season nostalgia of makers and few fans from last season.

I was amazed to see when makers tried to see a blackmailed marriage is holier than water and blackmaler is so mahaaan.how can I frgt when he said pre I can't stand injustice.it was like I m seeing different bjaj in every episode with no head and tail.

I always wanted to see pre making his life hell or ignore him like trash or hate him to the infinity .but alas our pre behaved as if whatever it's marriage and let me fulfil all my wife duties.she even want to protect bjaj from her kaki maa wrath when he caused anurag accident.

After leap bjaj is the glorified teacher ,mento and motivational guru of pre who give pre pep talks nothing else.He has made pre so much dependent on him that pre has lot herself in this process

Hope, the main reason in my opinion is keeping Buddha as Prerna's confidante and Anurag's Dushman, and not Prerna's Dushman.

During the first track of Bajaj, it started well with him blackmailing Prerna to marry him so that she can save Anurag. But, later they started buttering with Kuki as the bait. They finally ended the track again with mutiple attempt to murders by him. Instead, if they had worked upon showing him as a negative character upfront to the audience like Komolika, and if they had retained the sassy Prerna giving it back to buddha and showing him the place he actually deserves, it would have worked wonders with the audience and the character would have atleast served some purpose in the show.

People were looking forward to the lovers anurag and prerna reuniting against the odds of betrayal, revenge and retribution, not to see how Prerna moves on with mentorship turning into love story😆

Atleast with the second track, they could have shown him partner with Komolika, the iconic Vamp, but the repercussions of giving him a purpose was so much that probably they didn't find him worthy enough for a purpose.

To sum up, Mr.Bajaj served no purpose in the show with respect to the story, but the decision of the makers to retain the character for sure caused them sleepless nights. 😳

Problem is they were not able to think of Bajaj outside of the mould already set. Die to this their creativity failed them when er Bajaj was in the picture, the audience got frustrated being forced to see a repeat performance of a show they saw a decade ago and all together he became a recipe for disaster.

And the result, a character subject to perpetual ignominy.
