What is Bajaj's purpose in the show - Page 13

It is not like AnuPre broke up or lost interest in each other before Prerna married Bajaj. Their bond was as strong as ever and Prerna sacrificed for Anurag. Then why would I want to see Prerna with Bajaj if she can give up her whole life for Anurag?

For some crazy reason, if cvs wanted to go with Prerna-Bajaj track after 200 episodes of AnuPre track, then they should have spent at least another 100 episodes establishing an organic relationship between PreJaj without any romantic feeling involved from Prerna's side. Where she has no choice but to live in Bajaj's home while she thinks about Anu constantly to slowly learning to see Bajaj as a person instead of a blackmailer, Bajaj's repentance, Prerna's forgiveness, then her respect for him. And at the same time showing Anu trying to move on in his life too (god knows how that would happen, at least from this Anurag who I saw in first 200 episodes). And only then starting a remotely romantic track between PreJaj. But even while typing this, it does not make much sense to me. I would have loved to see AnuPre as the start, middle and end game, fighting all kasautis in their life together or separately but still always being there for each other like NB and Komo1 track. I dont remember much from 2002 KZK but in 2019 KZK I just cannot see a PreJaj romantic track. If the cvs still wanted to push us into it, they should have done it very slowly showing us a reason for everything without assassinating the character sketch of AnuPre. But oh well, that would never happen. Character assassination and ITV goes hand in hand as the story progresses.

Hope totally agree with ur ques regarding Bajaj. Frankly like many wrote before, I too feel Bajaj this season was just waste.

From what it looks like even though initially advertised as a reboot makers strongly wanted to repeat BaPre n were confident enough that it will work out hence they kept on forcing Bajaj n BaPre down audience’s throat without giving proper character development, building the storyline or tracks n killing/butchering AnuPre in the process which were badly rejected by the audience time and again.

There have been enough instances to prove them that BaPre this season won’t work out but they still kept forcing or hinting it while making every character look like headless chickens running around without any clue. Because they themselves were clueless on how to make it work.

Hence Bajaj makes zero sense this season.

I think this is what repulsed many with Bajaj character and all that Prerna bajaj maggie noodle love track.

A lady who sacrificed herself to save her lover left him at the alter is not even remotely angry at the person who caused this situation ???? How is that humanly possible ???

@Bold : I still fail to understand this there was absolutely no logical reason. I mean prerna was in such a situation that it would take her years to even come to terms that she lost anurag and also lost the father of her child because of someone else blackmail her for a stupid selfish reason

There was nothing organic about their marriage or bajaj's instant love.

And as you said if you look at 200 episode of anupre then there is no way either of them have moved on especially since they got separated due to majboori/blackmail and not because they lost trust or fell out of love. If you are a force to leave behind someone you love then it takes time to move on let on forgiving a person who caused such a grief to you and your unborn child.

Why would prerna remotely even move on from the person so easily who helped her from trafficking from komo (she helped him more but still) from the person who was ready to die trying to prove her that she is falling into Naveen's trap for a blackmailer because he wanted mother for his kid not ever caring that she is going to mother too?

Well only CVS have an answer to this i suppose lol

Kyunki uska role and purpose kuch hai hee nahin tha, so he passed here.

Hope, the main reason in my opinion is keeping Buddha as Prerna's confidante and Anurag's Dushman, and not Prerna's Dushman.

During the first track of Bajaj, it started well with him blackmailing Prerna to marry him so that she can save Anurag. But, later they started buttering with Kuki as the bait. They finally ended the track again with mutiple attempt to murders by him. Instead, if they had worked upon showing him as a negative character upfront to the audience like Komolika, and if they had retained the sassy Prerna giving it back to buddha and showing him the place he actually deserves, it would have worked wonders with the audience and the character would have atleast served some purpose in the show.

People were looking forward to the lovers anurag and prerna reuniting against the odds of betrayal, revenge and retribution, not to see how Prerna moves on with mentorship turning into love story😆

Atleast with the second track, they could have shown him partner with Komolika, the iconic Vamp, but the repercussions of giving him a purpose was so much that probably they didn't find him worthy enough for a purpose.

To sum up, Mr.Bajaj served no purpose in the show with respect to the story, but the decision of the makers to retain the character for sure caused them sleepless nights. 😳

i always wanted that this time prerna to fight against her blackmailer

as ITV always female driven show .pre has to fight but no she more busy in nanny work & buttering bajaj
