I've been on IF for over a decade now. And this is a pattern with every drama with a possible love triangle. Every camp has a story. And every camp has a villain. With KZK, Parth's become the scapegoat. There is nothing you can do about it.

What's good is that he doesn't care, the stakeholders don't care, and the channel(s) don't care. It's time we don't care either.😆

I just saw the promo at Lunch on TV and it amazed me how he is being deployed to promote the next show on same time slot.

Also the AD tries to show some sort of continuity from one Love Story to another Upcoming one.

The Channel knows what works and what does not works..He is surely one of their favourites!

As if it happened for the first time 😆 jaane wala aane wale ko promote karta hi hai. Yhm actors were used to promote yhc. And same with every single serial.

How the narrative gets so skewed when it comes to this show, I have no idea. KZK was neither quite as gargantuan a flop that it needed to be shut down asap, nor was it the hit the makers had presumed was in already in their kitty. The show's been pretty mediocre from the start except for a few high points worth talking about.

What's funny is how this show's audience is obsessively fixated over equating success to numbers. Some of the most stable, content-driven tracks in this show didn't bring in the numbers. A man being sexually coerced/abused/harassed & polygamous arcs on the other hand sat well with the tv audience. The tv industry is regressive because the audience they cater is a world apart from you and I. So, why the obsession to prove any actor/character's worth based on that kind of content in the first place?

A lot of great shows aired on itv, most of them were rejected number-wise, and yet the fans hardly question the worth of the actors/jodis in place. So, why is KZK an exception?

As far as pinning blame is concerned. First people were hell-bent on the narrative that Parth is coercing the PHs to increase his fee/role. When finally, as was said time and again, that was proved wrong, now the anger is about how him quitting the show has deprived audiences of what they wanted to eventually see. I wonder how many of you are working, and how many of you think about how the coworker in the next cubicle will cope after you've quit your job. Parth was never in this for the long haul. He's said it before, he's said it while the show was bringing in stable numbers, and he said it recently during the lockdown as well. If I may quote him indirectly, he wants to play n number of characters as he goes. And, Ekta knew it when she signed him. So there goes the 'unprofessionalism'.

Also, have we forgotten he battled covid and returned to the show? Let's not even talk about covid. Let's talk about this pandemic, the lockdown and how all of it took a toll on us all. Mentally, emotionally, physically. I, personally, have struggled so much. So, why are actors not considered humans? Parth has been pretty vocal about fighting depression/anxiety and other problems while he was in lockdown. Then he came down with covid and honestly, you can see the physical toll of it on his post-lockdown/pre-covid shots and post-lockdown-post covid recovery shots.

The makers pulling the plug on the show didn't just happen because Parth put down his papers. It was, however, the last nail in that coffin. And, it was a mutual decision between the makers and the channel. The show is over. The what ifs will always remain. Unfortunately, the real world isn't as black and white. There are no villains here. Please stop scapegoating already.

Thankyou for writing this.❤️ I am done with people blaming him for each and everything. Parth took decision for his health and career. SP and EK took decision for their business. That's it. Nobody can force anyone for anything. And SP and Balaji are too big to be controlled by any actor, however great he/she is doing in his field. They could've have just done a leap and went ahead with next generation but they took the decision not to. It's high time people see actors as humans as well.

I am glad Parth put down his papers. He knows when the character is done and nothing else is left. I will be always thankful to him that he saved us from further butchering of the characters in this show. ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

All the Best to Parth and Eri for all their future projects. Will be looking forward to that❤️
