But since you asked, films and health were cited as the reason in many portals . Also Parth himself in one of his LCs during the lockdown said that he would not be doing a show for over 2 years . Whether there is any truth to it or not , only time will tell .

The show wasn't doing well in terms of numbers post lockdown which is a known fact..... And there wasn't a chance of improvement as the leads wanted to quit...

The makers of the show decided to end the current show because apparently its leads decided to leave the show. Reportedly, Parth wants to focus on his health and Bollywood debut, while Erica wants to shoot from her home due to safety reasons.

A source is quoted by Ahmedabad Mirror as saying, "Neither wants to play parents on screen. Also, the show wasn’t getting the expected ratings. So, Ekta has finally decided to pull the plug.”

What articles? You don't need articles when the kzk forum thinks it's a flop. There's no bigger measure of the success or failure of the show than the opinions expressed in india forums. How does the articles published in leading dailies, which has direct quotes by the actors working on the set, (not talking of speculations and sources said here) read by millions of people matter, when opposed to what a few tens of people believe?

India forums kzk forum considers it a flop. Atleast a part of it.

I want to resonate with the sentiments of this thread and agree Parth is the one who should be thanked for the show coming to an abrupt and sad end. I want to thank him from saving me from his yawn worthy acting since he made his mind to quit or demand for more visibility etc. More visibility led to more boredom and lectures from a failed characters on the show.

Thank you Parth for ruining the show with pathetic portrayal of Anurag on screen in equal partnership with Prerna that show ending made viewers more happy as compared to an extension.

I am glad he made a (unworthy) demand to put his character in the spotlight and prove how less equipped he is at this stage to carry off maturity on screen. So thank you Parth :)

Unworthy for few... however the TV Czerina agreed means she find him worthy enough whereas didn't bother much for other characters and actors shows her preference...n I m sure that has to be for a reason 🤷

Now that things are getting a clarity, one doubt I have is that why didn't EK this time negotiate for a time shuffle between her 2shows, continue with PreRish and the next generation story like last season. Is it because she was not confident enough in anyone other than Parth to run the show or is it because, Eri too put down the paper as she too was not interested in playing parents to kids of almost her age? Anyway, Parica was a flop as AnuPre. In that case channel should have easily agreed for a face change and allow EK run it at 10.30pm slot, focusing on new generation. Aisa hua tho budget ka bhi problem nahi hoga and running her other show in 8pm time slot would have brought both parties more profits. Atleast that would have been a safer option than bringing in a new show during IPL. Yet, EK decided to pull off the show without going for a slot change and SP didn't want the show to run with a new face for AnuPre. Kyon? Mujhe jawaab chaahiye.

Truly isn't it?

I mean what a failed character Anurag is. And how parth has failed to make a mark.

And how foolish of the production house and the channel to continue with the character and actor when he was clearly not adding anything and instead harming their prospects.. They instead chose to give into his demands/ end the show because he quit.

If only, IF ONLY one of the top channels in India and the head of one of the top PH in India had the business acumen to see what is plainly visible to a handful of people here. 😒

Well atleast the fans of the lead couple have been spared the horror of the ever so boring Bajaj due to this foolishness.

Its a win win for everyone here. 👍🏼
