Like seriously why do we even have hotstar subscription by paying money. The main attraction of paid subscription is early episodes. It's irritating.

Usually you pay for an year and after that date you either renew the subscription or dont renew it. For us living in the US have no choice but to have Hotstar is because they dont have Starplus as a channel anymore here. They only have Hotstar

Yep that's the boat I am in, living in US you don't have a choice. In fact I contacted hotstar last night. Because I was watching an episode of something and got advertisements. So I said if this is a paid subscription why the ads and I was told I can pay rs 999 a year to subscribe to "hotstar premium" which will get rid of the ads. But do the ads even matter when you don't even have the episode.

All this is for TRP. Starplus is realizing that people watch more online than on TV and only TV viewers contribute to TRP. We pay for the subscription but dont even contribute to the channels needs so now they are delaying the episode online. This way they will get TRP which they want. Plus only KZK2 can give them TRP now I guess because other shows gets uploaded on time.

I know right it's ridiculous. so I did ask about KZK2 as well and they said the delay is due to it being 6 days a week now. which I was like "okay". but realistically speaking, I don't see what difference that makes to the normal days they were already uploading the shows for.

Finally!! The episode is uploaded on Hotstar. Great timing to watch eating lunch😄
