A while ago I identified the main problem with this story at the moment: Which is that the connection between Anurag and Prerna is very fickle/brittle.
It is difficult to swallow the whole soulmate thing at the moment. And like I said then: there will be no believable way the creatives could bring them back together if they do not allow them sufficient space for a breather and for them to bond with Sneha.
A child should never be given the burden of being the link between two parents, who have come to hate each other. And that is where this track is heading.
There is no greater betrayal to a woman than the father of her child questioning paternity. There is no reason for her to love him for his doubt, especially considering what she endured from his so called wife before bringing the said child into the world.
Anger is a great motivator.
And while I'm not one to tell a creative where their story should go or could go - I will say this. I am very thankful that I don't have to work on this track - because if they flop, they'll flop monumentally. And since these creatives are more loyal to TRP's than story - Flop it will. The setup and time jump guarantees it.
Respect to the actors who put so much into their characters - sadly the show has once again deviated from its core idea.
My muse and I are looking lovingly at the door... We'll spend the time writing fanfic instead.
