The reaction of viraj is that he didn't have known the truth of anupre. Maybe they haven't discussed about anupre. This is only an happiness of teenage LOVERS without considering others views. What a pathetic lovers. Soon viraj will be misled by that vamp.

She's definitely being selfish and insensitive to viraj, a guy who is a stranger to him. She's using him for her own ulterior motives. Is that wrong? Damn straight it is. Do I find it refreshing? Damn right I do. Because for once, she's not sacrificing or crying over her fate but actually doing something. That something may not be fair to one person but such is life. And if all of that is not a refreshing change over the abla naari, sacrificing shit done to death in ITV, then even I don't know what to say. 😆

To each their own, I guess. 🤔

Why not use intelligence and tact instead of 'using people'?? That would also be a refreshing change for an Indian FL.

Why use only the route of marriage??

It is a writer's block honestly, that they don't have any ideas to make a FL interesting enough. But why justify it ?

Fair enough but that level of finesse is not seen in the writing. Also a daily soap that thrives on drama cannot rally provide that level of dramatic content if it's characters started using their intelligence. We have to but work within the framework provided to us after all. 🤷‍♀️. For wHt is available, this is as good as it gets, I guess.

Prerna........She should be selfish to protect her love. Every people in world are selfish when it comes to their lovestories.

Prerna sacrificed her feelings several time to facilitate others. Komolika, Mohini and Nivi and now Veena do injustice to Prerna. Pregnent Prerna was sent out from BB. Sonolika was heartedly accepted and treated as daughter in low in BB. Now Veena try to make Prerna married to Viraj forcefully. Prerna is also human being, young aged pregnant women. How is she bearing these all ill-treatments?? No one in two families thinks about her feelings and her conditions.

Viraj is a nice and smart guy. He should talk to Prerna openly about AnuPre relationship and back out the scene.

However I like very much this selfish Prerna. She said clearly to Mohini that she is not going to sacrifice her love, and her life again. I think she work according to her statement.

may be for people refreshing is watching Stockholm syndrome inspired love story of a blackmailer and meek female ...🤔...very Netflix level indeed ...

But I prefer a daily trp driven soap showing a female lead who for once is keeping her happiness as Priority.... female lead who is selfish in getting her Love back doesn’t matter if she has to turn insensitive for this ...

People have justified Anurag’s planned accident who became insensitive to his family members to get back his Love , People have justified a blackmailer husband killing his wife lover (wife who too loves her Lover) just because he is loves his wife and wants a happy family ....... so why not give this leeway to Prerna too to get back her Love....

Yes this Human Female Lead is Refreshing in this daily soapera....

But I think you mightve mistaken what many of us here mean by saying progressive for want of a better word. There's nothing remotely progressive about the story of the actions of the leads or any of the characters. But it's definitely a step forward for ITV to show a flawed and less than perfect FL. Women are always expected to be perfect. Even today, in society it is the default for many people to look for the mistake that a woman has made in any situation. Horrendous crimes being committed and then the onus for those being put on women for not wearing the right clothes, or being out of home too late in the night is AL a fall out of that.

Which is why to see a FL who is wonderfully, selfishly, sometimes hypocritical ly human is a welcome change.

Calling that progressive doesn't rake away from the fact rhat prerna is wrong here.

On the other hand she's the only character who's actions I've been able to by and large understand most of the time(except when she became a emotionless robot. I COULD Not understand her then) and justify to a certain extent. For a person who's an anupre fan, and for whom and anurag and prerna are 2 equal halves of a whole, it's not tough.
