Ekta will not unite AP for long because that’s not the essence of the story. Komo has been brought in so she can ultimately bring in that emotional detachment in order for Prerna to be able to move on WILLINGLY. The last track was not exactly by her choice, so they showed the one sided love of Bajaj but once he’s back things will change from Prerna’s side.

Choice under duress I’d still say. She didn’t WANT to marry Bajaj. This time she should WANT to without feeling any pressure. There’s still a difference.

And just when prerna was willing to move on from her past and accept Mr. Bajaj as her husband after having that touching conversation with Anurag , Mr. Bajaj dies. which is why when he comes back it leads to conflicting responsibilities for prerna, she was married to Anu and mother to prem but was also the mother of Mr. Bajaj's children and cared deeply about them and wanted to be there for them. conflicting responsibilities Mr. Bajaj initially exploited to bring prerna closer to him and komolika used to fuel misunderstandings and create problems between prerna and Anurag. point is Kzk2 has none of that depth in the story. its pure lazy writing, prerna and cookie bonding is literally her putting that kid to sleep more than half the time and bajaj watching them while they sleep. Anurag is a stalker mad lover and prerna is a snoozefest constantly jaaping about her and Anu's love. now i am not going to say Anu and prerna's love was not snooze fest in season 1, i mean prerna/ Anu spent half of every episode having flashbacks and anu has spent a decade warming his butt on every pavement in mumbai, punchmeshwer, london and literally anywhere he went thinking about his pyaar. but man the Actors did a Fab job, they were Fantastic and the narrative and story telling was gripping ,complicated, interesting and full of substance and drama no matter how illogical it got most of the time

I agree. There are more layers to characters or relationships. And the dialogues..wow. Simple yet super.

These writers are incompetent to write such stuff. They waste so many epis doing nothing.

The old one didn't come across as cheap in any way as well.

there is no couple goals in season 2, there is a bunch of immature adults talking about soulmates and that is it. And FYI even back then couple goals mattered when it came to tv couples only people didnt use the term 'coupl goals' specifically and prerna and Rishab hit so many couple goals back then. they fiercely trusted each other and he stood as her rock and only supporting pillar through all the hurdles and after they got married the second time she stood by him even when everyone else was against him at times and when it came to siding with Anurag or Mr. bajaj she always chose Mr. Bajaj in a heartbeat. prerna often never hesitated to point fingers and blame Anurag sometimes even when he was innocent but she trusted mr. bajaj wholeheartedly. she even says 'i trust you more than i trust myself' to Mr. Bajaj. i understand that in kzk2 prerna hasnt gone through that divorce, heart break and betrayal at the hands of Anu yet and Mr. Bajaj hasnt become her sahaara yet but even Anu and prerna 's relationship in season 2 has no spark and has been developed in a weird way. i mean what is all this soulmate jaap about, it is stupid.

This season anupre was developed in a much better way

Of course personal choices differ

My take there will be Anu pre for sometime and their babby prem then with komo plotting prem will die Prerana will remain Kuki ki mama and Bajaj s well wisher after prem a death it will be like s1 pre pregnant doubted by anu and Prerana goes to Bajaj

They have to find a new Bajaj as good as ksg
