What had RB done to earn their disrespect? As far as Sharmas know, he is Prerna's choice...apart from eloping with Prerna, he has always been very respectful with them. Then why this complete and utter disregard?

It is just like Mohini isn't it...because she didnt like the choice her son had made for a life partner, it gave her the right to demean Prerna!

I am not saying they should have the same affection for him as they have for Anurag, but as your daughter's husband, even if you do not accept their relationship, there is no need to be nasty.
