Gauahar Khan is not keen on playing Komolika

The hunt for the face to play the role of Komolika after Hina Khan quit the show has been on for quite sometime now. Several reports of actresses being roped in to play the iconic role has been doing the rounds and the latest buzz suggests that Bigg Boss 7 winner, Gauhar Khan has been finalised to play the role of Komolika. However, TimesofIndia.com have exclusively learnt that she is not doing the role.

Sources close to Gauahar Khan informed us that the actress is not playing the role of new Komolika. She had a meeting with the makers, but is not very keen on playing the role and hence is not doing it. The actress is currently considering a few web projects.

Other actresses, who were also in the news for being approached to play Komolika were Karishma Tanna and Alisha Panwar.

Kasautii Zindagii Kay generated good numbers on the TRP charts when Komolika's character was seen on the show. However, off late the show has not been able to create any buzz and is performing decent when it comes to ratings. Hina Khan, who played the role of Komolika quit the show due to her other professional commitments. She is currently busy with her film and web projects.

On career front, Gauahar won the season 7 of controversial reality show Bigg Boss.
