What I can't understand is that Prerna has no feelings for Anurag and is getting close to bajaj... I don't like that..She doesn't look troubled at all. She looks like a very happily married woman sans sex...who is giving hints that very soon she is going to get mentally and physically close to Bajaj...the only scene I liked was during photoshoot. I won't be able to relate if she gets close to RB.

So a genuine question to Prerna fans

Why do you guys appreciate her during the Anurag Komo marriage phase? Forcefully staying at a house of your lover, who has married someone else and whose family has relentlessly insulted you and your family...how is this courage or strength?

Again, I am not trying to insult any fan base...I'm genuinely curious...just trying to understand your POV

I am among one of those who wanted her not to come back to BB after that horrendous accusations Anu threw on her, eventhough his intentions was right. But when it was shown in the terms of divine intervention after which she came with the blessings of Durga maa to BB, being a believer in Supreme power, I accepted it and also found it as Pre's strength portrayed in a different way. It is true that the assurance she got through the pandit and her spirit to fight for her child, brought her to BB. Yet, even when being assured, if you are a weak-willed person, you will never think of returning to BB, as such a person will only focus on the repercussions especially when you have to face it alone. So, returning to BB indeed showcased Pre's strength to face whatever was coming in her way, though many of us may feel like she did it at the cost of her self-respect. When it comes to relationships, not always self-respect will matter; we may sometimes feel our dear ones are more precious than that. That is my take; not needed that everyone should agree to it.

Prerna's character was always weak and foolish. She was completely unrelatable because of how weak she was. She's shown to be always drawn towards the easiest , quickest fix and never had integrity or strength to pursue what is right as per today's woman.

She basically sold herself to NB during the 1st track of the show . When there was 100 other possible ways to tackle the monetary situation. And those ways are so simple and obvious that I couldn't be bothered to type them out .

Then she had out of wedlock sex , which would've been perfectly alright ( let's face it , lots of people do it nowadays and if done with consent in a proper responsible manner there's nothing wrong with it ) but it showed what a hypocrite and weak character she is , since she always was big on sanskar and all . At least don't pretend you're a touch me not when you yield to lust in a open hut with goons on their backs. No sense , no maturity, absolutely no responsibility. She was not concerned about lack of contraception during the act , whereas any educated girl nowadays will first make sure of it. She just caved in because Anurag wanted it. It was unpalatable, unbearable and every thing anti- strong and independent.

She was at her pits with how she begged Anurag to accept her during AnuKom's engagement. No wonder Veena slapped the hell out of her . I was burning with 2nd hand shame with her words and was not even feeling sorry for her when Anurag brutally humiliated her after that. She was basically asking for it. No dignity whatsoever.

What she did during AnuKom track was not just shameless, it was plain wrong. She came to break the home another woman who was properly married . At that time she didn't know Anurag had a deal with Komo and that she was responsible for Rajesh's death. Yet she came to Basu house to break home of another married woman . Being a hindu woman , she must've known clearly that what she and Anurag had was no marriage ( even the Pandit said so later ) but still took this chance and came to bb to fight for patni ka haq and extremely cringeworthy showdown and sindur , mangalsutra, dhaga, doli, arthi talks. Anyone who calls such a woman strong doesn't even know the meaning of strong. The entire track , each single episode was filled with such words or dialogues that made me shut the computer and go out for a walk to clear my head , it was so embarrassing and unbelievable and unbearable. Can't imagine a city girl , even village girls nowadays have far more dignity , strength and self respect than that.

When Komo tapped Vikrant and her in a LV scandal, she was once again helpless like a statue and basically relying on Anurag to save the day and her izzat.

When she found out that it was probably not an accident that got her father killed all she could do was cry at Anurag's chest and utter headache inducing dialogs of Mein tumhare liye kuch hu bhi ya nehi etc. , instead of at least once going to the police station to talk to them about the investigation on her father's death.

Then when Komolika died she got back with Anurag as if nothing has happened . No discussion . No communication. No pregnancy reveal. Strong and independent indeed !

When Anurag went to jail ,she went to Bajaj , he made a proposal which she accepted and got married to him. See the pattern here ?? Always the easiest, quickest fix. Because she lacks the strength to pursue any remotely difficult path. She could've tried investigating, could've hired a private investigator, could've hired a capable experienced lawyer, after all it was Ronit , not some intelligent mastermind .

But all that needs self agency, resourcefulness and yes strength.

She has none of that.

Even during recent track where Veena was sent to jail , watch how incapable she's in dealing with any problem. Basically always relying on males in her life to take care of her and to get her out of trouble. She couldn't even save her mother by her own self.

God save our country and this world from such independent strong girls. 🙏

I may not agree with the other points, but this is completely true! Self respect and ego can be a difficult line to balance and to much of either is not good for the relationship

Your own self respect or your loved one's happiness...difficult choice!

I don’t consider her strong. In fact she is weak female lead I have ever seen till now. She lacks self respect her self esteem. In beginning of the show, she used to be strong and self dependent girl then LOVE happened😆

Yes prerna is independent and is free to take her decisions. And she has taken her decision that she wants to nibhao this marriage with bajaj because she believes in the constitution of marriage. She isnt looking for ways to end it. Hope her decision is respected.

S1 had quite different characterization!

That Prerna was never one you could call weak or lacking in self respect...she was always Mother India

Personally, I prefer the story of S1 much more than S2. This Prerna is perennially confused...neither sure of her decision, nor of her feelings
