Now I more than happy she is again not shown as that. Her character arc is so visible for few days to her marriage.

that's the most unfortunate thing ever Because TRP aunties love to see a Mrs Husband's name than Mrs her own surname.... which is why GUL makes it a point that her FLs use their own names not take up their husbands but sadly no matter how much we want her to have her own identity TRP aunties do not like that. Like Munni mod ji said, it is mainly due to the rural and semi urban areas who contribute to trps rather than urban areas with their attachment to their husbands name.
We who watch online will be delighted to get a strong FL with her own identity but the ones who contribute to the trps do not enjoy it much. Look at the ones on top anyway. The FL is loved Because she is the MLs wife and so was the season before her.
As much as we want Prerna to have an identity of her own on her own, it's still in Ekta's world a man forcing her to have it. Which is a very sad thing in today's world yet delightful that a man wants his wife to have her own indentity than being just anyone's wife or ex. Works both the ways.
