Ch1.

Tears were continuously falling from her eyes as her mind replayed the harsh words of Mr. Bajaj. It was a big blow to her love and loyalty towards him.

She sat on the bench and was looking at the sunset which looked so pretty. The waves of the sea were soothing her nerves as the icy cold water hit her feet. It calmed her down to an extent.

Flashback:

"Aapki himmat kaise hui mujhe chhune ki?? Shayad aapko yaad ho,aapne khud hi kaha thha ki mujhe galat iraade se mat chuiye and all!! Bhul gayi aap?" Rishabh spoke rudely.

Prerna looked at him with a shocking gaze and replied with tears,

"Maine kabhi bhi aapko galat iraade se chhua nahi hai,Mr. Bajaj! Woh toh main..!!"

"Woh toh main kya!!! Listen... Maine aapse shaadi sirf Kukki keliye kiya hai,mera dhyaan rakhne keliye nahi.. Mujhe kisi ki zaroorat nahi hai mera dhyaan rakhne ki... Kukki ki Maa banake laya hu,wohi banke rahiye,meri patni mat baniye,got that???" Rishabh warned her.

Prerna couldn't believe what he said. Today,he finally showed her real place. She thought that she will finally confess her feelings to him and will start afresh,but here,he broke her heart today.. For good..

Flashback ends.

Tears fell down finally from her doe shaped eyes. She got up and went to get a taxi to go Sharma Nivaas. She got a call from Shivi,her sister. As she was talking and crossing the road,a car came out of nowhere and hit Prerna badly,resulting in a deadly accident.

Blood covered her angelic face. There were so many cuts and bruises. People gathered around her to check whether she was alive or not. A person immediately informed the police and called an ambulance.

While,another person took Prerna's phone and called Bajaj Mansion.

In Bajaj Mansion:

Everyone was worried for Prerna,especially Rishabh. He realised his mistake for not trusting his wife. Her final words were ringing in his mind.

"Agar aap mere baare mein aisa sochte hai,toh yahi sahi.. Aajke baad main apna shakal aapko nahi dikhaungi.. Mar jaungi par aapko pata lagne nahi dungi.."

He was brought out of his reverie when his phone rang. It was Prerna. He was happy.. He wiped his tears and answered the call.

"Hello Prerna.. Kahaan hai aap?? Kukki aapko kabse..!!"

Only to be stopped by a gentleman's voice.

"Sorry sir. Jinka phone hai yeh,unka bohut bara accident hogaya hai.. Bohut khoon behraha hai..Hum abhi unko Park View Hospital leke jarahe hai,aap turant waha aaiye please."

The phone drops from Rishabh's hand. He couldn't believe what he heard. He was about to fall when Anupam held him.

"Sambhaliye apne aapko, Mr. Bajaj. Hua kya hai?? Aap aise kyun bokhla gaye hai?"

"Prerna... Accident... Hospital.." He spoke only these words due to shock..

All of them immediately went to the hospital. As they reached,Rishabh went near the ICU where Prerna was being treated.

He couldnt bear the sight of loosing her. For the first time after the death of his first wife,the fear of loosing someone near to you bubbled up in his heart.

Anupam made him sit down and consoled him while the others were praying for Prerna's recovery.

The doctors' came out from the ICU and asked for Prerna's husband.

"Main Mr. Rishabh Bajaj hu,Prerna ka husband. Boliye.. Kya hua hai Prerna ko?"

"Mrs. Bajaj ko bohut blood loss hua hai.. Unka blood group O negative hai.. Jaldi se blood ka intezam kijiye,warna hum patient ko kho denge.."

"Doctor... Aap mera khoon lijiye.. Mera blood group O negative hai.." Anupam replied and he went inside with the doctor to donate blood.

Rishabh went blank after he heard that he might lose Prerna. He closed his eyes tightly and let the tears flow.

He remembered the moments spent with Prerna during the initial days of their wedding,their time in Switzerland,their happy family moments,etc..

In the moment,the Police Commissioner came to talk with Mr. Bajaj,to inform about the culprits.

Rishabh is talking with the Police Commissioner when the inspector comes and tells that the deadly accident was caused by none other than Mohini Basu, as she wanted to kill Prerna.

Bajaj seethed in anger as he folded his fingers really tightly. Veena was shocked to hear about Mohini Basu's involvement,but at first,she needed to calm down her son-in-law or rather,his son.

So Prerna wanted to confess her feelings while he lashes out at her. And hurt Prerna leaves him saying that she will make sure that he would not know even if she dies. But why is he so harsh towards her. Any back story for his harshness. His reaction knowing about her accident. Now let's see what would be his action towards MB and his reaction seeing Prerna fighting for her life. Will he finally confess his feelings to her.

"Mrs. Bajaj ji condition abhi bhi critical hai.. Unpe koi bhi dawaai asar nahi kar rahi hai... Maano,jeene ki ummeed hi chhor di ho.. Ab toh aap sab ki dua aur pyaar hi bacha sakti hai Mrs. Bajaj ko."

Veena comes face to face with Mohini Basu who has been arrested by the Police. She comes near her and slaps her hard. Rishabh comes and holds her.

"Meri biwi maut se lar rahi hai.. Uspe ungli daal ke apne bohut bari galti kardi hai.. Aapka main kya hashra karunga yeh aap soch bhi nahi sakti.. Agar main Prerna keliye uska Shiv bansakta hu,toh main aap pe Kaal Bhairav banke keher giraunga..." Rishabh warned Mohini as he was seething in anger.

Mohini was taken into custody as the much needed proofs were gathered.

Veena was extremely proud of Rishabh. His words and actions proved that he was worthy of being her daughter's husband from every angle. She went near him and kept her comforting hand on his head.

"Thora aaram karlo beta."

"Nahi Maa... Jab tak Prerna thik nahi hojati,tab tak nahi." He replied in tired voice.

Veena brought a plate of food near him and started to make him eat.

"Hum ek baat bhi nahi sunenge.. Maa bolte ho humein aur Maa ki nahi manoge,toh main gussa karungi. Chalo,thora sa khalo.." Veena said with a smile and made him eat.

Rishabh was really happy to be taken care of. Like a mother cares for her son. He bent down and kept his head on Veena's lap,as she stroked her warm and loving hand over his head.

"Aap gussa nahi hai mujhse,Maa?"

"Main apne bete se kyun gussa hongi?"

"Maine Prerna se itna bura bartav kiya aur usi wajah se Prerna ka accident?" Rishabh replied with sadness laced in his voice.

"Isme aapki galti nahi hai beta.. Vishwas ek aisa dhaaga hai jo zyada khichne se toot jati hai. Aapke saath aapki pehli patni ne jo kiya,woh bohut galat thha. Aapki jagah koi aur hota toh ab tak sambhal nahi pata khudko. Par,aapne khudko kabil banaya aur iss mukaam pe hai,aapki mehnat ki wajah se. Priyu ne bhi Anurag pe vishwas kiya par usne bhi uska vishwas torha. Woh aapse bohut pyaar karti hai,aur aap bhi toh karte hai Priyu se pyaar.. Bus thora samay dijiye,sab thik hojayega.. Mata Rani aap dono ke rishte ko lambi umar pradaan kare..."

Veena's words worked like magic. He was relieved of the guilt to an extent.

Interesting....waiting eagerly for the update....want to see PRB's reaction when she wakes up....
