Die???🤣🤣🤣 He was not going to get hanged. Also if Bajaj was manipulating Prerna, she herself could have done the same. She could have backed out after Anurag was acquitted. So this so called deal is majorly Prerna’s fault. She is not some abla nari for God’s sake!

There’s something called balance in life. There comes a point of time in life, you accept things, come to a neutral point and stop grieving and moping. Doesn’t mean the pain, hurt, hatred and anger isn’t there anymore. There’s a period to grief. And, situational grieving eventually paves way to passive acceptance and coexistence.

Her normal behaviour could be called as human existence. Prolonged grieving and aggravated anger either exists in TV shows or people with mental health issues that needs to be addressed with compassion and professional healthcare.

Even after grave tragedies like death, people gather themselves and carry on with that thing called life.

Does that mean they aren’t grieving- they do but have different forms.

Has Prerna moved on- No. Her emotions are still there like her love for Anurag and her hatred for Bajaj. But can she express both these emotions freely to both the men? No. Different reasons but both her extreme emotions for both the people start showing up every now and then. Her love for Anurag in the form of silent tears and her hatred for Bajaj in the form of rebuke and snubbing.

But, we often forget, extreme emotions burn you out. Prerna is burnt yet has a sense of acceptance and quiet. Just because she isn’t lamenting and slapping around Bajaj doesn’t mean she isn’t grieving or hating. She is simply existing. That’s what humans do. We somehow find a reason for existence despite being in tragic or suffocating situations.

I hope that gives a tangent to your thought process.

That’s what we as a species do. Procreation is the base for love and chemistry, community living is the basis for family and yes gender roles too. We’ve have evolved, we are social animals now but yet animals nonetheless, isn’t it?

@bold That’s what I try to explain. This is just a TV show and not the end of the world that too an EKta Kapoor Show! *nods head in self-moping*😆

I love Anupre as a couple and they have great Chemistry, but their journey isn’t exciting enough if there’s no problem. Bajaj is an interesting catalyst much because he brings an equation that creates dynamics. What else is there to see otherwise? Didn’t we get to see some amazing acting by Parth because of his angst? Oh, the vibes he created!!!!

It’s just a show and a journey, that’s it.

This is exactly the thought process of Prerna now. And she was like that from the beginning itself. She quickly accepts and adapts to the situation she is thrown into. And adding to it, being continuously subjected to lots of pain in the last few months, in the form of losing her father & then Anu, several humiliations and insults from the Basus, she probably by now might have become numb to any form of pain. And with such a mental state, people will tend to completely forget about themselves & their pain and instead start getting involved in things that can get them distracted. Which is making Prerna look like she is becoming insensitive. And that may be one reason she doesn't even thinks of her own kid deliberately. Because it will remind her of Anu & their probable happy days, which will again give her pain & nothing else. So what we are getting to see is the minds mechanism helping Pre to adapt herself to the current environment so that she can simply exist in this world. That is why i have stopped criticising Pre for her being insensitive to Anurag & his feelings. What i am just waiting for is to see, what brings her out of this shell that she will learn that the world is not what she sees with her eyes and that she has to stop being impulsive. She should have learned something from her experience with Komo & Naveen Babu. But, it looks like her experience with Bajaj will be the one that will open her eyes completely and teach her the need to be bold when needed, inorder to survive in the real world.

It's like we're trying to fill up the gaps in this shoddily written show with our own imagination and stories about the characters. And frankly, it's really exhausting and boring as a viewer to try and connect the dots all the time. So, until they decide to show some action from the characters, there is no moving forward. 😴😴😴

Firstly hun, thank you so much for your appreciation. I would like to really give you some idea about how shows are written. Trust me, writers have great depth and thought process, they have a creative vision and do like to peel layers but this is ITV we are talking about.

Let’s roll back to the good ole 90’s which had shows full of simplicity and creativity. It was because TV and cable connections were privileged to a class of society who were educated and had access to this commodity. Yes, back then, given the economy, TV was lavish and cable was luxury.

However, the great millennium changed everything and every house suddenly started having access to cables and TVs. And, along came the Czarina EKta who brought fashion, Indian traditions to homes and women who would view TV at leisure time. What’s even more interesting is that she just overdramatised everything. From clothes to traditions to fashion. The grannies could relate to it, the daughter in law’s could too given the emotions . Rest, glamour and fashion would widen their eyes. I still remember the Komilika glossy lipsticks and Ramola Sikand bindis popular in marriage functions.

Imagine this-we see a lot of digital content these days with gore, guns, violence, drug and substance abuse along with crazy sexual behaviour. I agree these exist in society but digital content too is nothing but a dramatised version of the current times.

I live amongst millennials- not everyone starts hurling abuses at the drop of a hat!

We are in an age and era of transition. What was fashion some years ago, comes back as retro fashion!

In a nutshell, shows could be absolutely senseless, might be appalling and sexist-it is because mass medium has to cater to an audience which could be maids, home makers or working women. To strike a balance is a hard task. They make rubbish sometimes and I cannot help but rant like madness. But that’s how entertainment is? We are in an era where Dhinchak Pooja makes insane money and bloggers give medical advise!

Expecting a TV show to make sense is the last thing I expect 😆

P.S- I read and write between what the characters could be and maybe the writer could have imagined. As long as it keeps me hooked, I’d go with the flow.

I have left rambling over quality content for my own peace of mind. Chipkalis and Dayans and what not😆

Maybe we are watching two different shows here, but Mr. Bajaj was giving real nasty angry looks to Moloy. I assume there is a backstory here.

When you encounter a person in a wheelchair all alone in a room, your first reaction would be to ask him politely if he needs something? Smile a little, make him feel comfortable, you know.

yes we are here watching completely different shows it seems... Bajaj dint behave rudely with moloy , he simply asked in a husky tone why are you here alone... he scolded the servant . and if he has a darkest past with moloy , then how do you expect to talk sweetly, create lovey dovey scene with him 🤣. atleast he showed concern for him as he is paralyzed , he should not be here without any helping hand ... he might need anything anytime..

and nasty look ... 🤣 , he was giving angry look , not nasty .. there is a huge difference in these two words.

Bajaj din put Anurag in jail, Anurag himself did that, Pre asked for his help and he asked for something in return, it's a classic deal. Nothing comes for free in life.

Bajaj is a ruthless businessman, not some charity organisation.

Y'all are so salty about Bajaj even though he is the most interesting character in the show
