It's not just frustratingly cliched, but a highly dangerous way to view a situation that's outright toxic. This medium, for years, has wrongly romanticized the idea of the "broken/vulnerable man" getting away with questionable behaviour. Ultimately, it boils down to a person's own agency. Analyse his psychological state as much as you want, that's absolutely fine, but at the end of the day, fact remains that Anurag slapped Prerna out of his own agency. I wouldn't say that the slap defines Anurag's entire sketch, but I definitely believe that holding him accountable is a much more healthy approach as opposed to bringing in sentimental tropes to justify his behaviour.

yesterday Anu was looking like a spoil brat . first time i felt it was completely obsession for prerna , not proper love.. cos in love , lover's happiness is mart important than own self . He wants back prerna for him only , not for her.. n lolz people call them soulmate 🤣

What about a woman hitting a man then? Why isnt that highlighted n talked about and condemned ? Why is it deemed a normal.reaction? I am just curious to know. Men or women both act out of their sentiments only , so how is that approach wrong ? Take out the sentiments , there is nothing. No love no anger no happiness , nothing ..then people are robots isnt it? Then prerna should be ok leaving anurag, marry bajaj..anurag shouldnt bother and move on..break ups happen..rejections happen..whats the big deal? Big deal is for those who are in that situation . And judging it takes a far more unbiased perspective

you heard the classic? he wants to be richer than RB so that Prerna can come back to him? So that he can buy Prerna back!!!

What the heck was that?

So he is not gonna fight for her because he thinks she was forced to do it, he will do it because he needs his toy back... Felt like someone throw his toys out of his pram...

Pagalpan!

Couple of months back, he dumped her, wanted her to move on with someone else and now all of a sudden, I can't live without you!

His lovers happiness is supposedly in money which he is trying to get..rest , . He has learnt the tricks from pre only..how to irritate the hell out of people by your presence ..thats pre who forced herself in his house inspite of numerous insults and humiliations.

To be honest, I don't believe in the idea of a soulmate anyway. A fluffy, unrealistic term, that's what it is. Just my opinion, though, others may disagree.

Anurag has a long way to go. The slap fiasco has opened up the grey-est areas of his behavioral tendencies, it'll take some concrete character development to resurrect his character.

You've raised some valid questions. The discussion was purely centred around Anurag's slap, hence, I spoke solely about the implications of a man slapping a woman. The opposite scenario (a woman hitting a man) is also not justified. I would really love to talk on this in detail, but it's too late and I have some early morning commitments to tend to. If it's okay with you, could we talk on this later?

Sorry to butt in!

Well a lot comparisons have been drawn on Anurag and Prerna slapping each other where ppl thinks both situations and circumstances were alike!!
