It is actually such a coincidence that,. I am watching Silsila these days on You Tube, I can understand Nandini, but I do nto want to hate her like she is trying to control her feelings and nto get too involved as of now, but I am still in August, so I do not know what she decides to do later , I am hating Kunal already, but Nadini is making attempts to not interfere in Mauli's married life, I am jut praying she stays the same for a longer time, I cannot hate Nandini after what she has been through y her disgusting husband

I never hated Nandini, even when the whole forum was against her. Yes, genuinely disliked her but Hate? No, that's too strong a word.

Why is it always the other woman who is held responsible for the affair ? Is it her fault? Yes definitely but it is the husband's fault equally.

That's why for me, Kunal is worse than Nandini. Though not a fan of these 2. I was a Mauli shipper

It began with Kunal who deserved to be hated but Nandini became a bigger culprit because she backstabbed her best friend who fought for her & stood by her thick & through. Nandini wasn't just another woman but best friend who broke such pious friendship code. And on that Nandini had audacity to play bechari with all those dialogues like I have never been loved before by anyone except Kunal. She never admitted she was wrong & tried to justify what she did with stupid dialogues. Kunal never tried to be saint but Nandini tried hard for it by conducting that pooja & b'day celebration. She never stopped Kunal & agreed to Kunal's proposal just like that & don't even talk about romancing under Mauli's nose & acting best friends with her as if she cared about her. Then they had those gaudy background music with divine symbolism. Mauli was adored because KuNan were pathetic like hell.

Hasratein was on the same theme & it was thousand times better.

Their love story was shit. Writer tried to oversimplify such complex thing without proper buildup. A loyal husband falls for another woman once he sees her dancing in rain & a best friend says yes to proposal from her best friend's husband without even thinking twice. Hasratein, Balika vadhu & many other shows dealt with such concepts in much better way.

Many began that show with sympathizing with Nandini & actually feeling for her. I was one of them. I made posts on why would Nandini fall for Kunal as per promos & intial episodes. I even understood why Kunal could fall for Nandini gradually. I made posts on Mauli's subtle flaws that may cause the ultimate eift. But what they did was outrageous & watch it more, the leads were the poorly written pathetic characters in the show that you will hate strongly, both Kunal & Nandini. Nandini a little more because her dialogues were so bad & then her request of accepting her daughter after all that she had done. Only Mauli made it worth watching.

We were promised complex love story with forbidden emotions & struggle but what they gave us was an affair with stupid dialogues & all. KuNan were even promoted like regular couple even when they were not. Khne Ko Hamsafar Hain is a better watch on the same theme. Atleast you understand all the characters there.

Yeah exactly. I used to lurk around the Forum just to read the comments. Gosh. They didn't understand how to show an affair.

That forum was a literal war zone at the peak hour. Even neutral viewers were forced to take a biased stand, such crappy was the writing. It was more shocking because writer had earlier written on such themes in a very beautiful manner in other shows but she fell flat for Silsila.

Atleast season 2 of that show is better with complexity of the theme.
