Ohhh. Coming across this for the first time.

I absolutely loved her. I find she's a natural actor. She makes me feel like I'm there in the frame and there's no OTTness in her. She reacts like normal people in situations and that doesn't connect I feel, sometimes.

Heck , KSG is being judged after barely making his entry , while he's still scoping out the ranges of his character's basic traits.

The truth is KSG simply exposes other far far weaker characters when in the same screen space and that is happening with Erica. She's terrible as Prerna. Her emotional range is zero and dialog delivery is as flat as her pregnant tummy, flat as flat comes.

Only yesterday I got nostalgic with all the s1 mentions and discussions and went to watch some episodes of s1 in hs. My God! Sweta's Prerna was something! What a screen presence, what an ACTRESS! Kudos! No matter how terribly written were the scene she shines like a star throughout and grips you in an emotional strong hold . She got me crying and laughing and excited and heart broken and everything. This is what is called sheer talent. Which Erica lacks. Sonakshi was simply a too brilliantly written character, which would've been just as or more wonderful if played by a more capable actress than her. It hid what she lacks - any sort of range or nuance as an actress.

She completely and utterly pales in front of KSG. No screen presence or acting to hold her own, which Parth managed quite well.

Ab ig aur Twitter wale blind chamche log writing ko blame kar rahe hai but even they should see the blatant hypocrisy of their non-logic. Other actors are delivering within that same terrible writing aren't they ?? No excuses please for being lousy at one's job.

Ab koi Sriti, Surbhi ya fir Sankhi jaise actresses ka naam Erica ke sath na hi le to achha hai. They've all worked and shined through absolutely garbage writing. To writing ka excuse apne pass hi rakho!

Now I'll have to go and apologize to my mom for doubting her fairness in being judgey at Erica. When the truth is she's right all along. Urrgghh.

Well Erica is a standout actress from the current lot when it requires subtlety and Prerna is far from that. Prerna’s character was more like Geet from JWM. Not all actresses can do all roles. Could Tabu do a Geet ? Does that make Tabu a bad actress ?

Somebody like Ragini Khanna would have been perfect for this role. Or may be even Hina. But Erica is not suitable for Prerna. She was THE BEST as Sonakshi though. She and Shaheer made a GREAT couple.

Don’t you know the Mods only shut threads by AnuPre or Parica fans. KSG and bajaj fans can bash Parth and Erica and anurag and prerna as much as they want but the mods will never shut any thread of theirs.

The discussion we were having over Mr. Bajaj having a loose mouth as a grey character, this is how people are in real life. They are mean, some words are said to hurt people or insult them, of course Mr. Bajaj in the show has a better and substantial reason for it.

I mean obviously she isn't anywhere close to ST and I agree that KSG ke saamne thodi feeki pad jaati hai . But I just love the way her eyes speak and I think it's only me who actually finds her a natural and great in subtle & emotional scenes.

I agree Prerna is not meant for Eri but I think she is doing a fine job.
