Karma definitely plays a huge part, but sometimes it sits silently as well. I guess real life is an inherent combination of colors. I could never connect or empathize with Prerna's character because if I put myself in her shoes I'd never do the things she would and so even trying to analyse her is a chore. Anurag on the other hand was intriguing at the start, but again, their journey never really caught me and I don't see the chemistry, which I think is really a matter of preference at the end of the day, so I could never root for them. I didn't mind Bajaj not developing empathy for AnuPre because even after he transformed and became the man he was supposed to be, he loved Prerna and wanted her for himself. I think the fact that he felt that, and despite his feelings, and despite his angst, he let Prerna take her decisions and always do whatever she wanted when it came to Anurag showed that he had evolved. He had empathy and trust for Prerna. And that truly mattered later on.
THE RED WEDDING OMG! Traumatized to this day but still love the episode! What a beautiful beautiful piece of fiction and cinema. ROBB AND CAT THO
Yes, same here, I could never connect with Prerna post the 8 year leap, her anger for Anurag was justified and Anu deserved it for whatever he did to her, but the only thing I could never agree with the writers was that Prerna had to be with Bajaj because Anurag broke her heart, she needed either one of them to survive which was wrong at many levels because both wronged them, and if we consider the moral grounds then Bajaj wronged her more than Anurag could ever do, the journey definitely matters, and may be that is why Anurag's journey never had a happy phase either. I would definitely root for Bajaj had he been clean about his mistakes, because people may say anything but he was the reason why Anurag threw prerna out, nothing can be more hurtful for a woman when the love of her questions her character, Anurag did and he got his punishment, but Bajaj who conspired everything got away with Prerna.. LOL that happens in reel world i guess..
THE RED WEDDING ... YES.. unbelievably beautiful, Roose bolton's vicious smirk, Robb-Talisa's happiness, Catelyn's despair, everything.. I had goosebumps when Robb was taken down, the heart never broke like this at any other character's death the way it broke when Robb-Cat died.. 😭.. after all the season's i felt the same for Theon, at his last sequence while he sacrifices his life to save Bran.. I think I should stop, GOT discussions are depressing
