He didn't marry the wives/gfs of the men he brought down before. And given his own past is implied to be tragic and distasteful when it comes to marriage, his decision to marry again has to be well sketched and drawn before it makes to the screen. Give him time to progress.

Honestly I think the cvs missed their golden chance of separating anurag prerna by making Mohini's move less consequential. Not to be a sadist, but Mohini sending Veena to jail and then something horrible befalling Veena would've led to the ultimate breakup btw Anupre. They could've then put Bajaj and Prerna in one camp without pulling cliches out of their hat. At this point Prerna's whole arc needs to be about her own self development rather than using Bajaj and Anurag as crutches.

Regarding the business world, it's cut throat and experience takes you far. But once you reach a peak there's a stagnancy there. Also your ideas and approaches are solidified and you play your cards the way you've always played them. Someone new can actually upset your order because he's not working with a set rulebook. Bajaj has become far too secure in his little bubble. It will burst at some point. For now he'll win. But he'll eventually fall too.

I second that. The rush to bring RB in a hurry on the heels of Komo’s exit made me wonder that given AnuPre as a couple being quite popular the absence of a villain in the mix may make it difficult for them to sell the PreRB story later as story would have progressed quite a bit between AnuPre.

Even now the over hyped promotion of RB’s entry makes me wonder why they were at it so much.

I don’t want to get into the discussion of bajaj versus anurag right now though I do have views. I am intrigued by the way so many of you in this thread and others talk about business men and the bisiness world - almost as if it is the wild Wild West, no rules and the one who wins is the one who can shoot first.

I cannot believe that India is so different form the rest of the world that anything works and there are no rules or ethics. Companies like Amazon, Coke, Facebook etc won’t be perfect but they will still have to comply with extremely strict rules of law and stock exchange. And even if they took advantage of the rules and tried to play the system, they will be punished by their stock price crashing. For example when facebook is accused of selling people’s personal data.

Is this the impression you have of Indian business men? And do you find it acceptable if this impression is true? Or even cool is this is what business is supposedly like?

This is not about India or USA. Anywhere in the world one cannot reach the top position in any field without resorting to some level of sabotaging. Even Mother Teresa has some strong criticism pitted against her. No one is saint to be honest.

The base of Facebook itself started with fraud/plagiarism where FB had to pay HUGE HUGE amount to Mark Zuckerberg's ex-classmates. Amazon treats its female employees worst in the industry. Coca-cola has always many discussions going against it for its probable health impacts and still it runs, why ? You are talking about USA businessmen having ethics, whereas in reality, it's the HUB of all nasty tactics which are backed by the Government itself as USA is a capitalist country.

Anyways, too serious discussions and KZK is not worth it😆. Bajaj is what every top businessman is. In the whole world, only 1 businessman that comes to my mind who is known for his ethics and morals is Ratan Tata. That's it and that probably is it for me. And Bajaj or Anurag both are not here to promote Tatas, they are regular businessmen. 😆

Business runs the same way in every part of the world.

@bold: Amazon is one of the shadiest companies out there. Facebook's ethics are a joke at this point. The stocks fluctuate but that's what stocks do. Not a kill switch when it comes to the top 5. Google is embroiled in some extremely controversial cases right now because it does what it can to stay at the top.

Businesses die every single day. It is cut throat. And hostile takeovers and maneuvering and manipulation is part of the game. Even if a company is public. Get to the board members and you can oust Steve Jobs from Apple and Musk from Paypal.

The hostile takeover war between Valeant and Allergen is the stuff of tales and while Allergen resisted the takeover, they did sell out to another pharma at the end. Small companies resisting bigger corporate sharks is a battle fought everyday. Sales distribution wars between competitors can get dirty.

And as far as businesses breaking over PR goes, Theranos is a big example. A multi billion dollar project went down the flush and it all started with an expose story in Wall Street Journal. Media and image plays a huge part. Can ruin you. Disruption can ruin you too. That's how small companies learn to oust bigger ones.

Point being the business world is far from ethical. Corporate environments are often politically charged and nauseating. One of the reasons why psychopaths and sociopaths thrive and get ahead of the race here. Should it be like this? Should the world be the way it is? At the end of the day, people do what they do to survive. Makes for excellent fiction as far as I'm concerned. Now expecting corporate nuances and complexities from Ekta is nonsensical. Given her track record with this show's writing, anyway. And the fact that all of it takes place over years and that time span cannot be fit into a show's timeline and so has to be condensed to fit the storytelling.

Coming to Bajaj, the show's been doing too much tell(the rule is show don't tell, Ekta) with him and it's getting annoying at this point. The ottness needs to be done away. And he can prove an exceptionally worthy opponent and layered character.
