I maybe in the minority here but i prefered anurag sid to anurag anupam. I dont know what is the reason they scrapped sid's character..

Just overnight they made anupam fill in side's role of anurag's confidant. While the scenes were nice and all my logical mind could never accept the development. Anurag never seemed much close to anupam initially nor it seemed like anupam cared about anybody.. he may not have been a bad person but he cared about money. There was a sudden change in his characterization.

Keeping sid they could have introduced a separate track of anupam nivi with both their individual characters changing leading to change in couple status.

The sid actor was also good. Better than the kjo duplicate and more handsome too. I would have liked him going against anurag and supporting prerna bcos he didnt like anurag's actions towards prerna.

I have never been able to completely warm upto anurag anupam bcos it was not seamless and convincing to me. But jab anurag ko hi butcher kiya beyond recognition ye to irrelevant hai

I found Anurag's I love you Prerna when he sees her call annoyingly cute. 😂😂

this was truly one of them! Their happiness.. I am glad they shared it together.. It was peaceful and bliss to watch!

Well I have a different take on this, yes Anu-Anupam aren't that close but they aren't exactly opponents. Anupam was only shown as greedy, not evil. He was never shown to have grudges with Basus to not even help them. He was shown as someone who can see something happening between Anu-Pre even before Sid was scrapped and was shown teasing them like engagement day. He may be not someone who claimed to love Anu but he was a well wisher of Anu. And I found their development slow and organic, though Anupam helped Anu in pre kidnapping in marriage but there was still discomfort between them especially from Anurag. And it's only in AnuShka's engagement when Anupam shared his love for Nivi and ask Anurag to not do any mistake they started becoming close. After AnuPre I found Anu-Anupam have a slow gradual growth in relationship
