Is she not allowed to be heartbroken or desperate or confused? Do we all need to bounce back in minutes after each horrible incident?

I find her grief natural and apt for what she has gone through. It's obvious from her lines to anurag that she hated him make her beg and mocking her love. The fact that it hit her to the core shows how deep her love for anurag was and is. And I'm glad they showed this phase if prerna.

I really want anurag to stand up for himself. What do you want in life anurag? Is it prerna? If so, go for it. If it's Komolika then go for that. If it's neither then that. Or maybe it's your mom who is the most important person in your life... that's fine too. But this inability to commit to anything with full force and conviction and stand by it. Maybe it is just me... but I can't stand this dilly dallying. I don't know if that makes me too demanding if anurag or seeing faults where none exist. Or as someone said - making him a damned if he does and damned if he doesn't. I would find it so confusing to date a guy like anurag - I wouldn't know where I stand on any given day. If you promise someone something, then keep your promise. Call your sister to help your mom and help her girl who is in that state because of you. YOU.

Now coming back to prerna. Unlike I think everyone else I DONT want her to go to Basu mansion. I loved the grief, I loved the desperation- because it's natural. But then I want her to just try to get on with her life. I would have preferred her to call anurag while he is on his reception to say I am pregnant. I want nothing to do with you but I am informing you as it's the right thing to do. And for anurag to then coming running behind her. I know it's the boring options ... but I am going to hate every moment of this Basu drama where everyone will insult prerna.

I always wanted that @bold

Interesting choice by Erica to play this Prerna. Her previous character was completely different and handled some similar situations completely differently.

Here I partly agree and disagree with your post. I agree with her grief being natural and totally appropriate for the situation, I mean I'm still not able to get over the total humiliation she underwent at the Basu house. I'm still so embarrassed for her character because I think if I had the courage to just go there and totally debase myself just to get further debased by the love of my life, I genuinely wouldn't know how to go from there. Veena has been so integral in helping her move forward and will hopefully further empower this badass, fiery goddess. However, I disagree about wanting to raise this child alone. If she were to do so, I wouldn't mind seeing it and more power to her to do so, because if sensitively handled, it could have been a great arc for the story. However, Anurag is still very much in love with her and he's still around for her if she needs him. Why should she and her already stretched thin household bear the burden of raising this child? Anurag needs to take responsibility for his part in this pregnancy and if they're considered married he has an additional obligation to afford her all the rights and responsibilities of being his wife and the mother of his child. They're the uber rich, famous Basu family, why shouldn't they take responsibility for their progeny and his progeny? The Sharmas are a fairly big family who have just suffered the loss of their primary source of income and it's not fair that they should gain one more mouth to feed when the Basus are right there just filled to the brim with wealth. Anurag can't just have his fun and leave for the hard part. Prerna should and will hopefully demand her rights and hopefully Anurag acquiesces and does his part.
