Hi all,
It's been a while since I posted in IF. But somehow I got motivated to post today. Firstly I wasn't an ardent kzk fan. I was very young and watched what my mother watched but I remember the Anurag Prerna love story very clearly. In KZK vamps and villains didn't play a significant role in the initial days. It was all about Anupre beautiful love blossoming with slight footage given to Mohini's concerns.
But for some reason, here the love story isn't being allowed to blossom. First came the drama of the Naveen track and before we could recover from that we were pelted with one dramatic turn to another: Pre's realization came too quick and her heartbreak with Mishka's entry and before we could delve a little into that, poof came Shivi pregnancy track and with that Komolika and clan. And now this engagement.
What's the rush? Take a breather, CVs. Why are you rushing from one track to another?
What should have been done is post Naveen track, Prerna should have started working at office and slowly realized that she loves Anurag. And in the mean time we could have seen Shivi acting nervous or weird. That would have given us a build up to the pregnancy track.
Once the pregnancy track started, focus should be on Shivi and the komolika drama. Now Prerna seems nonchalant to the fact that Shivi is pregnant. More concern from the Sharma's and slight involvement from Moloy and Anurag needed here.
Mishka's entry would be perfect amid this drama, adding dilemma for Anurag and Prerna's heartbreak follows. Mohini adds to it by announcing engagement but Anurag is still sorting his feelings out for Prerna.
That is a solid two months storyline and not two weeks. Seriously, do the love story right and stop bringing villains and vamps. Why people stuck in KZK was because they were invested in the love story (which was done right) and hence they stuck through the crazy ups and downs
