Something I have noticed in India is that each state has got some big festival that involves days and days of celebration. It could be religious or just regional - like Diwali or Onam or Christmas or Durga Pooja. And sometimes these festivals involve the "younger crowd meeting each other almost every day at a different celebration. I had lots of friends who became obsessed with a boy or girl during one of these festivals or whose relationships started after two weeks of intense hanging out together.
So unlike a lot of people in the forum I don't find it bizarre at all that a boy and girl who have known each other and sort of been in the background of each other's life for long, suddenly become good friends during Durga Pooja.
What I find super interesting is that to my eyes Anurag is really confused and irritated by how much he is feeling for Prerna. He is definitely falling into something with her. And he's irritated by it while also being concerned for her as a friend. There is the scene in yesterday's episode when they go to the cinema. Watch the scene where they sit down and Anurag looks at Prerna and notices her sweet look and he is almost irritated by it. Like he doesn't want to notice such things about her.
Prerna on be other, probably because she has so much going on in her life right now, does not look at Anurag with anything other than friendship in ber eyes. Each time he does something good like hand money to his friend in case he needs it, she look at him with respect rather than attraction.
I am sooo loving the Prerna Anurag interaction. I feel like there is so much other crap happening but it all pales when they are together on the screen.
