Alright guys am not blaming or trying to hurting fans but just providing the fact that during Komolika's track TRP improved every week or maintained even made show number one few times later at the Komolika finale weeks TRP crossed 3.1TRP and everyone was like Anurag-Prena reunion is giving that TRP and all. After Hina Khan existed, TRP gone down drastically and that time focus was full on Anurag-Prena and then KSG hype started, his fans thinking TRP will rock now but that too seems flop so far. KSG as Bajaj is not really impressive and Anu-Pre character I really didn't understand so far especially Prena, badly written character and the acting too is weak but still I love the leads, their presence is good. Anyways as TRP is continuously going down, now we can hope TRP to pick up after Bajaj-Prena marriage and Switzerland Drama. Yes according to SP show wise TRP maybe good but channels show wise it's not up to the mark.
will disagree here
TRPs were not because of komolika.
People did not tune in to watch few mins of komo either planning her machinations, or ranting her frustrations at her thwarted plans
People tuned in to watch AnuPre deal with the situations Komo's presence and machinations created, how they thwarted her plans, worked around her, and found their way back to each other.
Most of the screen space, dialogs, focus was on Anu-Pre.
Problem with writers is that they do not know how to write for AnuPre outside of these situations. Like after komo track ended, they fell back to the same old scenes of kidnapping, rescue, jungle scenes.
There was no pull there. There was no reward for the viewers who kept watching the komo track hoping to see the day that AnuPre would talk about what happened and why etc. There was no emotion, no intensity.
Just stale, oft repeated kidnapping
When Komolika first came, for many weeks trps just kept sinking. It was only after vengeful Prerna 2.0 showed up that people started tuning back in.
Komolika as a character, was interesting only in the context of being a catalyst, not as main focal point (excuse mixed metaphors)
