Absolutely.

Both, at various stages of their life....hmm, Anurag at any time he sees Prerna happy with Bajaj😆; like, for example, the day that he brought Bajaj back (this leap), and Prerna ran to him and hugged him tearfully; Anurag stood there, crying and morose. Of course, he was happy that P was happy, but in that happiness was pain, which wouldn't have been there if she was just a friend.

Prerna - when he was married to Aparna, and she used to see them together and remember her own life with him; when she gave Aparna her red dupatta, when she cried on Bajaj's shoulders at the injustice of being separated from Anurag, even though she claimed she hated him. There are tons of examples for both, and there are examples for Bajaj as well - this "dard ka rishta" that is the theme of Kasauti extends to all three leads😆

Thanks. Actually, there are many episodes of kzk that I did not watch. That is why I asked. For example, I did not see a single episode in which Anu was married to Aparna or Komolika.
Coming back to love and friendship, I sometimes feel that when people say "we are only friends", then they themselves are not clear on the difference between 'love' and 'only friendship'. But they know that being only friends is acceptable in society and that is why they make this claim.

^ Anurag NEVER feels jealous seeing prerna happily married\in love with bajaj, in fact he is the person who always brought BP together for prerna's happiness 😊 He has a desire to be with prerna ONLY if prerna wants to be with him too.

Prerna is a confused pendulum so i wont talk about her but anurag's love for prerna can not be categorized into any type like romantic, friendly ,familial etc.. coz his love for prerna is BEYOND physical and sexual attraction, he never feels jealous of her husband and he never felt bad when prerna and bajaj had kasak!so his love is not exactly romantic. For anurag , prerna means his life..so he loves her like we love our life, he just want to see her happy and protected and this is his ONLY desire . I would say his love is the most purest form of love on earth . Its like a rainbow which contains all shades and colours 😳

No problem.

Of course, not just in this serial but in society, esp. Asian society in general. Not that I mean to typecast people, but in India, whenever I visit, it is clear to me that this is the case; it is okay for a man and woman to be friends in college, as long as they are part of a big group, but beyond that and people start making assumptions. In these serials, if a married woman so much as talks to another guy for more than five minutes, she is labelled as being "bachchalan" or assumptions are made about her 'cheating' on her husband,

Similarly, if a guy and a girl are in love, it is thought that they are too "forward", which in turn means that they are not sanskaari or obedient to their parents. Thus, they introduce everyone, even their lovers, as their friends, and hope that their parents will be open-minded enough to accept that 'friendship' as marriage.

Where I live, people are open and direct about their relationships - pyar hai toh hai, dosti hai to sirf dosti hai. Here, people do not (generally, again I am not typecasting) assume that because two people are spending a lot of time together, they must be in a romantic relationship.

Dove - I agree. Maybe not 'lust', per se, but like I said, there is the element of a base desire; physical, sexual desire is a baser level of the human psyche, but that does not make it wrong. Rather, it simply differentiates between types of love, as you rightly say.
