Raja Chaudhary flew down from Meerut to celebrate daughter Palak's seventh birthday, despite his continued confrontations with wife Shweta Tiwari

Raja Chaudhary had shifted to Meerut a couple of months ago after a massive showdown with wife ShwetaTiwari. After staying with his parents for a while, he was back on October 8, on the occasion of his daughter Palak's seventh birthday. The family reunion took place at their Malad flat where Shweta had organised a party for Palak's friends.

Raja flew down from Meerut especially for Palak. He says," If I hadn't come this would be Palak's first birthday that I would have missed. I decided to forget everything that happened between me and Shweta in the recent past. I called and told her that I would be there for Palak's birthday. I stayed for three hours."

However, Shweta did not inform Palak about his plans. Everybody was pleasantly surprised to see Raja, especially his daughter who is quite a daddy's girl. She received a Barbie doll from

Raja.adds, "When it was time for me to leave I couldn't hold back my tears. Why can't my life be the same for all of us again?"

In Mumbai, Raja will be shooting for Chandramukhi which will be aired on Doordarshan from October 30. He plays a negative role in the serial. "I am shooting in Mumbai for a few days. I wish matters settle down on the personal front. Shweta wants a divorce, but I want to sort everything out and make a fresh start. I want to start living with Shweta and Palak once again," he says.
