first of all it was not a forceful hug it was a very sweet and consoling hug.
What do you think?..Anurag wants to just hug Prerna for the fun of it?..NO..he wants to console her..seeing her so hurt he wanted to make her feel better. ..now there is a diffference in that. If Bajaj had done this you guys would have said..WAH ..look at Bajaj ..he is consoling Prerna so nicely..blahblah..

He is just being a good lover and a great friend..which Prerna knows in the bottom of her heart..but her ego is not accepting that.
