Prerna suffers from the so-called lie 'Am

The coming episode of Kasautii Zindagi Kay has a high voltage drama for the viewers with the much talked about car accident sequence shot by Allan Amin. Set against the backdrop of Kolkata, the Howrah bridge, Victoria Memorial and the Durga Puja, the serial captures the drama inherent to the plot.

The family goes to the Dakshineshwar Temple for a darshan of Goddess Kali. During a romantic scene between Bajaj and Prerna in a boat sequence at Princep Ghat, Anurag sees them together. An upset Anurag then drinks heavily. Prerna decides to visit Mohini for the visarjan in the morning.

Bajaj gets upset about it. Amid their quarrel, Anurag's car rams against Bajaj's. Bajaj slips into a coma while Prerna suffers from amnesia. She can see blurred images of Anurag and Aparna in the background. Prerna loses her memory and feels she is married to Anurag, then she suffers from the so-called lie 'Amnesia'.

Rishabh Bajaj - Ronit Bose Roy says, "This twist will increase curiosity among viewers about the characters and how their life will now move ahead. What is interesting and important is what Ekta (Kapoor) will do to Mr. Bajaj once he goes into coma; and more importantly, when he comes out of it. As an actor, I am looking forward to this twist, as it will give me a new dimension to explore as an actor. As for all my fans, this twist does not mean my exit from the show! All is well and good and Mr. Bajaj will not undergo a plastic surgery and change faces!"

Anurag Basu - Cezanne Khan, "Prerna will come back to Anurag because of partial amnesia and not out of will. Therefore, Anurag will take care of her and will support her through her trauma. Prerna is Anurag's true love, but don't expect to see too many fireworks between them. After all, they are parents of grown up kids and are now mature adults. Yes, old feelings that may have been bundled up may be revisited."
