Bheegi Bheegi Raate vs. Koi Fariyaad
Part One - Question & Answer
Out of the above music videos,
1. Which is your favourite? Why? – My Favourite will have to be Bheegi Bheegi, it captured Prem's frustration and Mukti's feelings of both rejection and despair over what had happened, the scenes of the flashbacks were great as well, and prem looked like he was really for once regretting what he had done to mukti and put her through.
2. Which song do you prefer? – for me bheegi bheegi was the one I prefer one I love the song 100% and also even though it was a sad setting there was still chemistry and so much more emotion in it as well
3. Which had the better setting? – well for sure koi fariyaad had the better setting, it was surreal and like a fantasy, they were in a world of there own just him and her like it should have been, almost like a dream.
4. Which captured the emotions of the two characters better? - Bheegi bheegi did koi faryaar was more the love then anything else, the first showed several emotions, love, despair, frustration, regret, rejection, hope really encapsulated everything that PM had gone through up till that moment
4. In which was Prem looking hotter? – Bheegi Bheegi I think he always looks better when he is frustrated and confused and the hair and the bling was allll gooood
5. In which was Mukti looking more beautiful? – Deffo for me it would be koi fariyaar she looked soo beautiful I always love to see her in a sarree
6. In which was the chemistry between the two MORE electric? – Bheegi bheegi was more a separate shot of them then them together so with that in mind koi fairyaad since it had more scenes of them actually together interacting with each other
7. Which can you watch over and over again without tiring? (I know they are both great, but if you HAD to choose?) – Koi Fariyaad since they are dancing together
8. Which, overall, was the BETTER music video? - Bheegi Bheegi showed different types of emotions therefore I thought that was the better one
Part Two - TASK
You are commissioned to make another PM music video, professional and high quality just like the other two.
Make a brief summary of what you would put in the video, taking care of the following things:
1. Setting - Mukti Engagement there is a dance scene (made up there realy weren't one for real) Different people take turns dancing with a person somehow Prem and Mukti end up together
2. Music/Song - Ek Pal Ke Liye (Ankahee Film)
3. PM's clothes (what would they wear? ) - same as what they were wearing at there engagement thing
4. Mood - is it romantic like the imaginary dance or sad and angsty like the Bheegi Bheegi song? Or is it something else? Song/Setting must reflect this... - there is romance there but a bit angsty at times as well
Basically, you have to tell me how you would film/direct a new music video on PM. You can use old scenes if you like, but also remember to "direct" PM in new scenes the way you would like to see them...
First Bit of the Ankhahee song – 'Ek Pal Ke Liye Hi Sahi' – they are shown dancing together Prem looking at her but Mukti looking away, Prem turns mukti round using his hands after the twirl there eyes interlock with each other on the word 'ko jane de saabhi dooriya faasle' they are still looking at each other and suddenly there eyes falter when someone comes and takes mutki off his hands and he is left looking at the spot she was in, mukti is dancing with some other guy looking at prem standing there, during the music time after the first chorus prem remembers the time mukti said yes to marriage and the first time he saw her at the bus stand
Second bit of the song starting from 'chand pehloon aake' mukti is seen looking at the moon and shivering, she imagine prem coming there and putting his jacket on her, he touches her face on the words 'kaisa sitam hai pagal yeh man hai' mukti closes her eyes to feel the touch and moves her head in tune with his touch, there is a tear on her face prem holds it on the back of his hand and kisses her cheek – at the end of the second chorus we see someone tap muktis shoulder and she breaks from her trance and relaises it was a dream as she sees prem near the bar stand drinking there is a sad look on her face and leaves with the person who tapped her shoulder back inside – second time the music comes round this time mukti flashbacks to the time when her duppata got caught on his watch and then when she sprained her ankle and he picked her up
Third chorus starting from 'meri sason ki shabnami' turn to prem drinking like god knows what, and remembering the past scenes they hadopn the words 'meri in ankhon main duub' we see the scene where the file is dropped and they both bang there hands and are looking at each other, he sees mukti laughing with her friends and as soon as she looks at prem she stops laughing and the words are sung ' sab kuch bula do phir se pukaro in hoto se naam mera', then KUL calls her name and she looks to him, prem looks angered, Prem leaves there and mukti goes to KUL
END
