Trouble's brewing up in the Kasautii… kingdom since quite some time now. It seems many of the supporting actors associated for long with the show are not too happy with the way the production team of the show functions. Many feel that in spite of having put in years of work, they still haven't got their due as a result have walked out. For many Kasautii… remains their only source of bread and butter yet they have been shown the door.

The supporting actors need all the support!

An actor on condition of anonymity from the Kasautii… team tells us, "There is no uniformity in the decisions taken by the production people. If we have any queries for which we can't directly go to Ekta ,we call up the production guys but sadly they don't take our calls. Also, they are very rude and unfair to us. We don't get to know about our tracks and if we have a personal problem and need to take leave, there's nobody to listen to us. The new favorites throw a lot of tantrums and get away with anything and end up getting more money and respect. It's a total mess and is frustrating for us."

Actor Ashish Kaul (who plays Subroto) is no more in the track and his role got terminated (as Urvashi's track is out) and the actor is completely clueless if he will get to be a part of the show in the near future.
Kanu Gill who plays Cezzane Khan's mother in the show is furious with the production team. "After having worked for five long years for Kasautii… dedicatedly and having important roles to play my character was loosing its luster though they could have shown a beautiful relationship between the grandmother and the grandson but they didn't care to do so. I spoke to the creative team about it, but they got back to me saying if I wasn't happy with my role I will have to send them a letter. I thought I couldn't take it anymore and decided to resign on 20 September. I had to forgo many good offers for being so dedicated to the show. An actor of my caliber and status is not here for money but for quality work. Of late, I felt wasted," points out a rather disappointed Kanu Gill.

Actor Jayati Bhatia had to leave as she could not allot dates for the show and had Sindoor, Viraasat and plays which kept her busy.
Actor Jay Devi had personal issues, health problems and problems with timings so had to walk out while Navin Saini needed the role badly due to financial reasons (the show was the only source of income for this Delhi actor) but his role was terminated without notice.

The writer of the show Fatima Rangila tells us "The supporting cast has been on the show for a long time and we have tried to incorporate them as much as possible. We have to understand that it's a love story and the family scenes have been there in the initially. It's good that they have left else many of them would have got frustrated. As far as I know the creative team, production team and the actors work harmoniously beyond that there might be a lot of pressure so some things might go wrong."
