Debo is better than Mukti? Jackass...

Eppy begins with Rishu leaving the Basu House and Prerna just reaching.

I Don't need Mr. Basu to tell me how to run my house

Prerna and Rishu ask each other what they are doing there. Rishu tells her that he tried to explain to Mr. Basu to stay away from their personal matters.

Prerna acknowledges that Anu made a mistake, but he has always looked at the Bajaj's happiness before his own...actually, I think that has more to do with you Prerna than anyone else...

Rishu says that they (i.e. the Bajaj family) are much better equipped to understand and deal with their own problems than Anurag is; if he had not interfered, Prem would not have had to face such a situation...well, truth be told, it was Mukti who took Anurag there...

Prerna says that it is everyone's fault - they did not trust their own son. Anurag came because he thought his son Prem was wrong and he wanted to stop OUR son Tushar from leaving. Rishu interrupts and says that it does not matter what happened, but it is MY house and I know how to deal with it. I don't need Mr. Basu's help....*sigh* men and their bruised egos...

Prerna says that he is right - BUT he is placing all the blame on Anurag, when in fact it is an outsider who is trying to create rifts in their family...uh...trying??

First he wanted to separate our children from us, now he wants our relationship with Anurag and the Basus to break - she says that we will not let our relationship with anyone break, we will not let our enemy win...she says that she will talk to Anurag.

In she goes, where Debo is still standing, despite everyone else having left aeons ago. In her customary manner, she tells Prerna that maybe it is best for her not to met Anurag - Mr. Bajaj said a lot of things to Anurag Uncle and bechare Anurag Uncle said nothing...iss ladki ko kab akal aayegi? When will she stop stirring?

Prerna gives her a ROCKING jawab and says that she knows what she needs to do. Sam comes and says that Issh is right...hmmm...what if Issh and Sam are in this together?

Sam vs. Prerna - the two women in Anurag's life

Sam tells Prerna that she knows of AB's importance in Prerna's life - but now Sam and AB are together and Sam cannot bear to see him hurt. She says that if AB interferes in Bajaj's household matters, then Mr. Bajaj and his family will not like it, because those are your personal matters which should be kept personal.

Sam says that every relationship should have a boundary which should not be crossed. If they do, then relationships change very quickly. So, it is better to create boundaries now, so that in future they have no problems.

She says that she has told AB to stay away from their personal matters and he has agreed, not even as a friend. Prerna is shocked.

She says that Prerna and Rishu should resolve their own family problems. Then, both the families and their relationships will remain sacred and be unbreakable.

If the relationship remains in its boundaries, then it will continue for life.

Prerna leaves, stopping at the photo of Moloy Basu and crying silently. She pays her respects and then leaves. Its the end of an era. Hopefully.

Prerna and Rishu get in his car and drive off. So much for keeping their relationships within their boundaries: Prerna has left her car at Basu House!

Prem's refusal to come home

Back at Bajaj House, the whole family is gathered in the sitting room anxiously waiting Rishu's and Prem's return. Rishu and Prerna come in and Rishu makes to leave without saying another word. Sneha asks Prerna where Prem is - Prerna says that he has refused to come home...Mukti is in tears.

Prerna laments that the more she tries to keep her family intact, the more it breaks apart. Mahesh consoles her and tells her that they will resolve things soon - Prem will surely come home...

Prerna leaves and the camera is focused on Mukti.

Prem is a jackass - I am in two minds about this scene. Of course, as it is the first PM scene of the week, as a premika I am desperate to watch it, but also, this scene is one of the saddest PM scenes of recent times, as it shows a create wall named Debo coming in between them...
Prem is on the terrace of someplace - I think it is Basu House. Mukti arrives with tears in her eyes and goes up to him.

She apologises to him for misunderstanding him (why is she always the one apologising/ He's done his fair share of misdeeds!) and tells him not to punish his family for her mistakes. She begs him to come home...he asks whether they want him to come home so that they can accuse him and throw him out again...first Mother India, then Dad Basu, then Daddy Cool and then....you. He says that once again everything has happened because of her mjisunderstanding. That's mean Prem, its not like you've ever given her ANY reason to trust you...

He says that what does she think? That like evrytime she will apologise and he will forgive her? Well, it's a damn sight better than they way she SHOULD treat you - knowing what you've done and how you've behaved, she is once again the one who feels your pain and apologises to YOU, instead of it being the other way around...that girl is way too good for you...

He then says the unthinkable - that Debo is better than Mukti....UNBELIEVABLE...the guy is a complete jackass - what, so the girl supports you ONE time, and she's suddenly Queen of your heart? What about all the times that Mukti has forgiven you for all the wrongs things that you HAVE done??

Poor Mukti is shocked - she turns around to see Issh smiling like the she-devil that she is. He says that despite the fact that Issh doesn't know me, she cares about me... And Mukti doesn't?? Why would she come here if she didn't care about you? Why would she agree to do your goddamn show? Why would she take any of the crap you throw at her if she didn't care? And its a bit rich of Prem to say that - someone who has never cared for other people has no right to complain when they don't care for him...

He asks Mukti to give him ONE good reason why he should come home - she says taht everyone wants him to come home (and that everyone includes Mukti, you idiot)...he laughs and says that he is not an idiot. Really? Coulda fooled me...

He tells her to leave, and as she begins to, a thought comes into his head. He tells her that he will come home on one condition - if Mother India gives him his company back, and ONLY then. Of course....what other reason could there be? What else can we expect from the character-less kid with equally character-less parents?
