I have indicated these several times here.
1. She must care about child rights.
2. ethics of business world.
3. child abuse.
4. Of course RAPE .( No child protecion )
5. entire Komolika is too much to digest.

one or two attacks r enough. But Ekta drags these too much. These r anti-cultural and anti ethics too. I do not know am a more advanced person. But you can't ignore
human rights r there. if you listen to them there will be a peacefull world.

oh my god...actually it is true, ekta kapoor justifies things like having sex and getting pregnant before marriage, and not only that, the ppl who do all this are justified and respected in the seriel (like prerna, kasak, mukti in KZK, kashish, charu, mauli in KTH, etc), many of us staying outside India since birth and having very little contact with India would think that this is the real Indian culture and many of us just dont want to stay in joint families, become housewives and take care of house, children, etc because of this!! Maybe India is not all that bad as these seriels portray!! These seriels are showing minority families and the world will think this is exactly how families in india behave to each other!! Actually joint families are not bad, infact they are more fun from my experience going to India, visiting relatives, etc. Ok i agree ppl do fight and there are differences in opinions, but not the way these seriels potray like staying without talking to a family member for like months, plotting to take revenge to a particular family member, adn so on...HEY PPL STAYING ABROAD...NOTHING LIKE THIS HAPPENS IN ACTUAL INDIAN FAMILIES..ESPECIALLY WHAT THEY SHOW IN KSBKBT..SO PLZ DONT DEVELOP WRONG PERCEPTIONS ABOUT INDIA!!

really people outside india think so taht what they see on television is true?? they don't know the difference between fiction and reality?

Khushi's rape in KGGK happened ages ago, before the leap.

I agree that Ekta pushes things to the extreme, after all, she has a business to run and TRPs to gain. But it is not fair to say that this doesn't happen in Indian society. Maybe the idea of multiple marriages is something uncommon in rural, uneducated areas where women are often oppressed into remaining married regardless of their husband's attitude towards them, but in high society, multiple marriages, extra-marital affairs are not uncommon. Issues like marital rape, mercy killings and other such have always been present in any society, even Indian. I live in the UK but I regulaly go to India and even when I watch Indian news, thats all you hear: policemen raping women in police stations, corruption etc. And high society also does the whole multiple relationships, date-rape drugs thing etc. Just watch Page 3: granted, it represents a selection of society, but it reflects the mind-set of some Indians...groups that are growing in number as cities become more cosmopolitan.

I don't think that the issues Ekta uses are rare in India, however, sometimes she misuses them to create drama and histrionics.

See the problem is, many ppl in india are not that educated, and they dont have much exposure to many realities happening in soceity..ok fine, if ekta shows somethings against these bad realities then it is ok...many times she does but many a times she also justifies bad things...and just imagine young ppl and kids watching ekta seriels...they will think this is how indian culture is supposed to be, cos more than parents teaching, children learn a lot from television too!!So though many a things ekta shows is fair enough (like mukti being raped and she getting justice finally), many a things are bullshit too!!

i know and i agree for kids it is really bad influence

yes it is true...where do u stay? oh ok iceland!! many of us are born and brought up in foreign countries, including me, visiting india just once in a while...ok we know a lot about indian culture and we are ourselves truely indian from within but we get this culture from our parents, relatives, when we celebrate festivals, etc...seriels are something that we see everyday and over a period of time, especially if we have been seeing these seriels since we were studying in school, over the period of time it gets into our head and our respect for relationship like post marriage relationships reduce and i can hear many of my friends saying that they dont want to get married and stay with husband's parents, etc and that they wont marry a guy who insists to stay with his parents and so on...actually there is nothing wrong in staying with ur in-laws as is very common with indian families...but our generation is getting wrong pictures and ideas about a lot of things and slowly the culture we have been respecting since childhood is seeming to loose respect with regard to many aspects!! Atleast in my case, i am really scared thinking of the fact that wat if i will have to stay with my husband's family members and what if they are not nice to me 😭 !!

Oh come on! Indian kids watch more than just Ekta's shows...The Bold and the Beautiful, The O.C. Buffy? And yet no one complains that these shows are bad influences?? Come on, Buffy is all about vampires! That doesn't mean that kids go around sucking their friends' blood, or playing with wooden stakes...The kids on the O.C have been through more drama than any other K characters, and they are only teenagers!! I'm not taking a dig at anyone here, but in general, people just like to attack Ekta, for whatever reason. The truth is that kids and teenagers in India (and all over the world) are much more aware of things than previous generations, and not all of that is Ekta's influence. It is the MTV generation, the hip-hop culture and the changing world that affects these kids. Ekta is just a very small part of that world.

Besides, people should be able to discern the difference between real life and obvious dramatic fiction...its not that hard.
