Kasautii update for 22 Dec-
The Khannas come for the function. Rishu is happy to see him but Prerna is upset. The Khannas come and meet the Bajaj couple. Vineet apologises to Rishu and Prerna for not being able to make it to the engagement. He says ever since he went abroad, every day he has been flooded by calls from Madhvi to return quickly...but has not been getting any calls from her lately. Madhvi and Prerna grow tense.-
Vineet- Haha..it seems that onlu I am talking here..why are all of you so quiet?
Rishu- Oh no..there's nothing like that...it's just that...
Right then, Prem comes and tells them that HE will reveal the truth..Rishu and Prerna grow tense..
Vineet- U?
Prem- UD...I mean..Prem Prerna Sharma...
Vineet is surprised to see him and happily asks him how he has been-
Prem- Thanks Mr.Khanna...I am alright..but I think you are not well
Vineet- Oh nothing like that..I am perfectly fine..why do you ask?
Prem- Ohhh..then I think there are chances that you may fall ill....
Vineet- Haha..what a funny man...good sense of humor kid...
Prem- I am not a funny guy..YOU are a funny guy..because when I tell you this thing, a mountain of sorrow will break on your head..
Prerna grows tense and excuses herself-
Prem- Oh yeah sure mother India..you MUST have remembered something important as usual..but dont fret..we excuse you...
He then whispers to Vineet-"Look at what a nice husband he is..he will now slyly excuse himself so that he can be with his wife"
Rishu asks them to be comfortable and enjoy the party and leaves. Vineet looks at Prem and smiles-
vineet- You REALLY are a funny guy!
Prem- Oh leave it..the fun already happened and you didnt come to know anything!! Anyways, lets have some REAL fun..come with me!
Saying so, Prem takes Vineet along with him for some drinks. Tanisha and Madhvi are anxious as what will happen next they are unaware of.
Prerna goes to her room and sits in the dark. Rishu comes and switches on the lights-
Rishu- Prerna what are you doing here? All the guests are waiting for you outside..
Prerna gets up and is about to go when Rishu stops her-
Rishu- Prerna why are you doing this?? I know I have made a mistake..but why are you holding ME responsible for everything that's happening? If Tanisha had come here..I cant possibly kick her out, can I?? What do you think?? I am not sad?? I am not hurt?? Does it not pain me?? Everytime I look at your behaviour, the only thing I am reminded of is how far we have drifted from each other! I have already told you Prerna that it is MY mistake..but I am still trying to remain happy in front of the world...because it's my daughter's wedding..
Prerna- It's good that you have learned to pretend..you just have to continue this for a few days..and after that I will leave...
Rishu- You want to leave right?? Leave...leave right now!! ()NOW!! What difference does it make?? The thing which was to come to light 4-5 days later will be revealed today..go on! How many times do I tell you that I saw you in madhvi that day...
Rishu looks around to see Prem and Vineet and Vineet with a tear in his eye, looking immensely hurt. Vineet looks at him and leaves....Rishu is shocked and goes behind him..Prem smirks...Prerna also goes behind him in a hurry. Vineet just looks at everyone in the party and leaves quickly. Madhvi and Tanisha are surprised to see him go just like that..Rishu calls after him telling him to stop but he leaves..Madhvi asks Prerna what happened and she worriedly tells her that Vineet has come to know about everything. Madhvi and Tanisha immediately leave.
Madhvi and Tanisha reach home to see a dejected Vineet standing alone. Prerna also reaches but doesnt step inside..she waits at the door..Madhvi goes to Vineet and hangs her head in shame-
Madhvi- I know Vineet..It was a mistake I had done 20 years ago..and now it seems like a crime..I dont know what to say to you Vineet...
Vineet- I know Madhvi...I have known from the last so many years..that Tanisha is NOT my child...
Madhvi, Tanisha and Prerna are stunned..Vineet continues..
Vineet- Do you remember the conditions under which we had married? We had decided that the first two months we are going to understand each other..those two months we had really come to know each other..and after that we had decided to start our marriage as planned...but before we did that, you had got pregnant..I knew all the way that it's not my kid in your tummy..but I didnt want your past to play any part in our present and our future..I know you did not tell me because you feared of losing me..but I ALSO know that all these years you have had complete dedication and in all the love that you have given me..there has never been a slight deviation..even for a moment, there wasnt a mention of anyone between us in all these years..and these 20 beautiful years that we have spent together...the moments we have shared together..the harm done by your mistake is nothing compared to our togetherness and the love we share..I have toiled and made this house with all our love..and this storm will never be able to break us apart...and the most important thing is that Tanisha..you are only MY daughter..and there's nothing better than that..nothing else matters..:)
All three of them are emotional and Prerna reflects all those things on herself..takes a last look at them and leaves. They continue to hug each other..
Prerna leaves in her car...all the time the driver (Mukti's dad) is driving, Prerna keeps on thinking about how Rishu had been trying to tell her exactly all the things Vineet explained in his talk with Madhvi. Prerna feels sad and guilty.
Prerna reaches home and goes inside. The function has ended and everyone's in their rooms. She looks at photographs on the wall- Herself and Rishu, Their entire family, Rishu and Sneha..Rishu, Prerna and Sneha..
She feels tears in her eyes when she sees those pics and she remembers all the time Rishu had tried assuring her of his love...A sad song plays on her..
On the other side, Anurag's men trap Indro and Sharavan and trap them both in the house with Aparna. Shravan tells Aparna that he's going to Anurag and he'll fight. Aparna reminds him that they are trapped and says that it's good that they have been trapped and now anything that will happen, Anuarg will be held responsible. She laughs wickedly and goes to another room. Indro laughs at her and thinks she's gone nuts and will soon join Komlika in the mental asylum..lolzz...Aparna calls someone and instructs him/her after which she laughs out loudly and with all her evil-ness...that's all!
