Part 2
In a small town of Mt. Abu on the top most hill, hidden from the town's busy street, there was a small house of an inventor. He was an old man with a daughter who had a heart of gold. He worked in a hotel as part time but most of the time he invented new stuff. His name was Nishikant Dixit. His only wish was that one day he becomes the most famous inventor and that his daughter lives a happy life of her own away from this small city, especially far away from landlord's son, Aprajit(yea i hate him so much). He was a great inventor but because of Aprajit all his hopes and dreams were always shattered. Aprajit did his best to not let the old man's inventions to be picked out because then that would mean Nishikant's success leading to no blackmailing and one way ticket to out of this town.
The girl everyone talked about in the whole town was a book-worm of romantic fairy-tales. And on top of that she was the fairest, prettiest, and most respected girl in the town. She was Nishikant's most precious thing and for her he would go beyond to make her happy. She was Nishikant's princess and her name was Bani Dixit. Not only she was gorgeous, she also had all the talents that every girl envied and every guy loved. There was not one thing that she lacked that every girl should have. She could sing, dance, cook, was intelligent, knew a little bit about everything, etc. But she was best known for her cooking abilities. Her cooking was famous all over the city. She owned a small bakery in the streets of Mt. Abu; with help of her customers, mainly outsiders since the townspeople were forbidden to visit her most of the time by Aprajit, she helped run her house.
Aprajit, the most handsome guy in town and who was every girl's dream and every mother wished for such a son-in-law, was after the one and only daughter of Nishikant Dixit. No one knows the reason why he was after such a girl who didn't give him a worth of her time or even acknowledged his presence when he was around. Some thought that maybe it was because of her being the most prettiest in town and him being the hunkiest hunk, Aprajit wanted such a deadliest combination to show off and wanted people to talk about them in town like they were kings and queens. While others with smart brains had a different opinion. They thought that it was maybe because she was the only girl to have rejected him in the whole city, his ego was hurt and he wanted to make her his by hook or by crook. He tried to get her in many ways and he failed every-time. The only way he has been trying to get her to say yes to marry him was by blackmailing the Dixit family with threatening to take away their house.
Aprajit was getting tired of hearing no from the Dixit family and was tired of waiting around for Bani to say yes so he planned to get her the harsh way. He planned to send Nishikant on one of his inventions investments trips towards the jungle away from the town to Mumbai. He thought that if he sent Nishikant to town and then have him kidnapped or something and then he will go in search for him to show Bani that he cared and then he will be a hero in front of her and she will agree to marry him. But God had planned something else for him and as well as Bani.
Aprajit came to visit Nishikant one evening while Bani was in town in her usual spot reading away her favorite novels. Aprajit said, "Susar-ji, I ha---"
"I am not your Susar!" Nishikant sharply responded.
"Not yet but you will be soon," Aprajit informed as a matter of faculty, "Anyways we are not going to argue on that but I came here with great news for you today. I have found a great man who wants to look at your inventions and wants to invest his profit in them."
Nishikant didn't believe him at all, "What? I don't believe you. You are lying. This is again one of your lies or scheme to get to my daughter." He went to push him out of the door but...
"Ah but Susar-ji," Aprajit stopped him from interruption, "I sent him a sample of your inventions to see and I am not lying about that. This is not really my scheme and plus what would I get out of it if I did something wrong to hurt you because then Bani won't say yes at all, now would she?"
Nishikant was still suspicious, "How do I know you are not lying to me again?"
"Well because I have received a reply from him asking me to send you to Mumbai to show-case your inventions for final decision. Look he has sent me this," Aprajit showed him a letter from that man to Nishikant.
Nishikant took the paper from him to inspect if the hand-writing was indeed not Aprajit's. After thorough inspection, Nishikant asked for the investor's name and his name was Jai Walia.
After a lot of assurance, Aprajit was successful in sending Nishikant to Mumbai. While Nishikant prepared for his long journey and for new hope, Bani was sad and suspicious about Aprajit's intentions. She didn't trust him but she didn't have any choice but to believe him and let her father go on the journey alone even though she insisted to accompany him.
Months passed and Bani didn't hear anything from her father till one day she received a piece of her father's inventions in the mail and then she decided to go to Mumbai to see what happened to her father. While Bani was about to leave here, there Aprajit had no idea that she was leaving.
Bani left the next day after she received the little piece of invention. She searched for her father upon reaching Mumbai on little what she had until she was out of money and she needed to find a job to live off. That is when she first stepped into Walia Industries.
Upon entering the industries she soon found out that her father was forced to work in the industry's factory because of an unknown reason to her. So to take her father out of misery, she decided to offer her services to Jai in return of her father.
And that is where the story takes off.
