Bani eyed Jai from head to toe observing his haircut to glasses, his dress sense to choice of his shoes and his most loved 5 yrs old school bag. From where do I start he need a complete make over.

"Ok Jai first of all tell me have u ever spoke to Roshni?" said Bani making herself comfortable on sofa.

"No.But once I saved her bag f rom falling into mud and in return she had pecked in my cheeks" Jai hand reached to his cheecks and with dreamy eyes looked to Bani

Bani snapped her fingers infront of him to bring him to earth

" Have u ever tried speaking to her?"

Jai got red due to embarrasement and shy said "Well u know whenever I try to speak with girls words don't come out from my mouth. I statr stammering"

"Well u don't stammer talking to me"
"u are not.." with the angry look in Bani eyes Jai stopped what he was saying and tried to ammend his word " Well u are Pushkars sister as Pushkar is my friend u too is my friend" (Well guys u don't want me write jai saying "Bani u are like my sister")

"OK jai first of all we will start with talking. Usually where do u see her?"

" I and Roshni have same History lessons but at that time she is busy with her friends ya! Mine and her locker is next to each other so I usually find her there during break"

" great. 10 minures before break we will meet there and u talk to her"

10:45 Recess break

Bani was walking toward locker room with her friends

"Bani I don't understand what has Jai found in Roshni" said Rano with disgusted face.

Bani just shrugged whereas "what every boys find and we three don't have" said Rashi with obvious looks.

"Bani!" came a very high pitched voice. All three of them turned towards voice and there was Jai running toward them. While running in the stairs Jai suddenly tripped in one steps and fall directly on three of them making them fall too with Jai on top of Bani, books and copies flying everywhere. Rano and Rashi stood dusting and swearing under their breath and Jai looked Bani with apologizing looks.

"Will u get off me?"

"Sorry" said Jai but didn't move even a inch

"Jai move. U are heavy n I am used to falling under such heavy weight"

"Stop apologising and get going otherwise we will miss the chance of meeting Roshni"

"Bani u go with Jai me and Rano has to meet Mrs Kagoda"

Bani just made her face

"Bye.Bye Jai"

Jai smiled shyly with brought laughter in all three girl faces.

"Ok Jai there she is chatting with her friends I will be there near the bathroom door u talk ya?

Jai nodded nervously.

After sometimes Roshni walks towards Jai. Bani is there sitting near the bathroom door from where she can watch and listen them properly.

"Hi Roshni"

Roshni turned toward Jai but her facial expression was clearly showing that she didn't recognise her properly.

"umm I am Jai remember" stammered Jai who was nervous like hell. After not getting any hint of recognition from Roshni "Well once I had saved ut handbag from falling into mud. (pause) We are in me history lessons"

After giving a lots of work to her brain Roshi manage to recognise him

"O ya Hi Jai"

Jai didn't know what to say so he looked towards Bani for some moral support from where she was gesturing her to say something with her hands.

"How are u Roshni"

"I am fine thank u" Roshni was looking him with surprise

"Umm How was ur History test"

" It was gud" with that she waved Jai bye and went towards her friend

After she was gone Bani came there with anger and disappointed written all over face and Jai was looking her as if he had done some bigggg mistake. One look at his face and Bani forgot all her anger and let out a sigh.

"Don't worry Jai. It was good try . We can have many such opportunity and I am sure next time u will do better"

"Hope so"

"Time to go for the lessons. Don't forget to come at 5, Bye"

"C Ya"

At 5 In the evening

"Jai u love Basketball, don't u?"

"Yes Why"

"coz today we are gonna play it. Do u have it in ur bag?"

"No, I don't. While coming here I left it at home"
"Its alright. We will go and search it at Pushka'rs room. There should be one"

When Bani opened his room, Was it normal human being's room? Clothes everywhere, smelling as if it was some zoo, door and windows never opened, Books flowing from the cupboard.

"Now I understood why Pushkar put a lot of purfume and aftershave lotion"

"Me too. It will take ages to find a ball here. U go and look at the bed and I will at almira"

Aftersome search Jai found the ball under the bed

"Bani here's the ball"

" Thankgod even I stay here one more minute I will of soffocation" Said Bani closing her nose and mouth with her hands.

They went to the forntyard.

"Bani till now u haven't told me why are we palying basketbal? How is it related with me asking Roshni for Prom"

"Jai hoe do u play Basketball?"

"Meaning"

"While playing basketball u throw the ball into the basket and it comes back to u and to throw it back again, don't u?said Bani demonstrating him

"Ya so"

"So u have to talk with Roshni in same manners where she is bound to ask u back and so on u keep on talking"

Jai nodded understanding something while playing with one hand.

"Ok now u try"

"What shoukd I ask"

"Come on Anything"

"Bani what are ur hobies? What u generally do during ur leisure?"

In this way they keep on Playing and chatting abt several things like their likes, dislikes, hobies, from their fav movies to fav places, fav subject to hatest teacher and a lot frm bani abt her Mrs Kagoda where Jai very badly failed to show Bani importance abt her and English litreture where no one notice how long they were playing.

"Come on Jai I wanna be a Architect not some next Shakespear or Benson. My answer should be the way I like, feel comfortable and most importantly. Some of the word which I haven't even heard in my lifetime. How the hell am I going to write my exams. Their pronunciation and speling never go together"

"I lose I lose. I admit I lose ur science and Maths are far better than English. Happy"

"Very"

"Bani!" came the voice of ber mother frm inside the house

"Dear its dinner time come on in. Bring Jai too"

"Thanks Aunty but next time. I have some work" shouted Jai

"Jai! A dinner is not gonna stop u frm doing any work. Come have dinner"

"Sorry Bani but I promise next I sure will"

Bani faced other way showing her displeasure. But after looking Jai's plaeding look she melted.

"Ok but next time u have"

"Promise"

"Thanks Jai today I really had a great time with u. I couldn't register how long we played"

"Welcome and Thanks to u too aswell. Even I had fun today and I think the first girl with whom I have talked this much"

"Ok we will meet tomorrow then at locker room at same time. But don't trip this time"

They both laughed and Bani came forward and pecked him in his cheek wishing him goodnight. Jai shyly looked Bani but Bani pecked him again and went inside.

P.S Whenever I paste the update from Ms Word to here the font and format get changed. Everything becomes same and i have to do the whole work again. can anybody tell me what should I do to prevent this?

10:45 The Recess Break

Bani with her friends was waiting for Jai at same place. They saw him coming but was being very careful not to trip and was walking slowing. Watching him walking like that girls couldn't control themselves and brust out laughing.

"What's so funny?" said Jai with confusion
"you" said rano and they started laughing again

"ok Bani gotta go. Bye And Jai" said Rashi Jai looked at her but she just came forward pecked his cheek and went winking.

And Jai understood that Bani told them abt yesterday's incident.

"Where were u Jai? You are five minutes late" said Bani with mock anger.

"Bani I am 5 minutes late not five hrs. You are saying as if I commited some crime"

"The break is just fifteen minutes if u come five minutes then how will it work?"

"Ok Ok sorry lets go" said Jai with joining hands in front of Bani.

When they reach locker Roshni just passed from them making their plan flop.
Jai got dissapointed and Bani was least bothered but somewhere she was relieved.

"Bani what to do? She is gone" asked Jai

"Nothing. Just wait for tomorrow till then u can talk to me"

" Bani I was thinking since u are helping a lot will u come with me for dinner" asked Jai not sure of himself.

Bani was surprised and she definitely didn't hide it from him. "Jai are u sure? u wanna go date with Roshni or me?"

"Bani u are getting me wrong. Its just a friendly date as a thanks from me to u"

"Umm" tapping her finger in her cheeks thinking a lot well pretending to she finally agreed. "OK Jai"

"So I will come to ur house at 7:30. Where do u wanna go?

"Anywhere It doesn't matter"


07:30 Evening

After the shrill ring of door bell Bani came running towards living room screaming at her topmost voice

"Mom I will be late. Will come home by midnight"

"Bani" glared her mom

"Ya ya no drinking no misbehaving no kissing par mom thoda sa to chalta hain na" Bani winked to her mother

"Bani k pitaji sunte ho What ur daughter is saying" shouted Kiran to her husband

"chill mom I was just joking" saying Bani kissed her mom. Door bell rang again.
"mom u made me late and don't worry its Jai no sexy hunk that I will go fida over" saying that she ran away to open the door. There stand Jai wearing Black suit and trousers bigger in size hanging on the shoulders definetely not his, hair nicely combed backwards well tried to but was failed misarable. First thing that came to Bani's mind was hair cut. He definetly needed it but something was different.

Bani was trying to figure what was it mean while Jai was busy staring Bani wearing beautiful Black strapless dress reaching just abovee her knees making her more than beautiful hugging her body showing her every curves, her hair left open. (cant express properly have a look)

Jai was so mesmerised by her that he could not take his eye off Bani and without thinking said
"Bani u look beautiful" As word left his mouth he suddenly became shy and blushed as if instead of him, Bani complimented.

Watching his sate bani couldn't help but smile kissed his cheek and said "Oh! Jai u are so sweet " which made him blush him more.

"Jai why u look diferent today. Omg ur glasses"
"Er.. it broked"

Jai had a very beautiful hazel brown eyes with lots of depth in it where anyone can drown and Bani wa left sataring at it.

"Lets go" saying that bani wraped her arms with jai and went toward paarking lot. There was parked Jai's black Merceedes. Bani was quite impressed with his car.

"wow Jai u have u have beautiful car"

"Thanks but its not mine I borrowed from one of my friends to show u that will it be good to take Roshni a date in it"

Hearing that Bani became a bit disapointed and without saying a word went inside the car.

After fifteen minutes drive both reached to a beautiful resturant (couldn't think of any so think as u like). The chauffer opened the door and both went towards their table. Jai being a gentleman ttok out chair for bani, made her sit and went to his chair. Waiter came and both ordered their food. Both were chatting non stop quite comfortable in each other company. Making fun of each other, laughing.

"Jai do u know how beautiful ur eyes are?" said Bani staring at his eyes which made Jai uncomfortable for some moment.

"First thing we do tomorrow is buy lens for u, a clear lens so that everybody know how beautiful ur eyes are then I will book an appointent for ur hair cut. I know a very good hair dressermwhich will give perfect cut to ur hair"

"Hair cut why?" Asked Jai with shock and amusement thinking how would he live without his beloved hair.

"Why do u love ur hair this much Jai which does nothing but nake u look like monkey, no offence"

"Bani" whimpered Jai

"no nothing is gonna work, u are under me and have to do whatever I will tell you" said Bani with stern face and signalled waiter for bill.
But when jai to take his wallet did he realise that he left his wallet in his another trousers which he had tried earlier for tonight.

"Oh!no"

"What happened Jai?" asked Bani
"I forgot my wallet at home" said a very panicked Jai

"What? Even I don't have money" since Bani had no ockets in her dress she didn't brought any money and carrying bags was not her sup of tea.

"don't worry I will go and call my brother he will bring some" With that he went to call but at midway remembered that his brother has gone at outing with his schoolmate and their was noone at home.

"Bani there is no one at my home. Whom do I call"

"I will try my house then" but luck wasn't there in their favour as her phone was coming unavailable……..


Getting tired like hell after washing almost 100 plates, 400 cups and glasses, 200 bowls and uncountable spoons, forks and knife they made their way towards their car walikng 2 miles per hour Bani hair done up in a bun, Jai's suit hanging on his shulder, shirt sleeve rolled on his hand but on reaching there they couldn't find a site of it. On moving closer they got a note written car clamped. While coming to resturanr they didn't notice that they parked at no Parking area. Jai and Bani both groaned in frustration.

"What do we do now" asked Jai

" I think god is not with ue today So we need to walk"

After walking for half an hour hand in hand with bani's head on Jai's shoulder they reached Bani's home.
"Finally" said Jai

"Ya finally. Thanks Jai I had wonderful night today with u" said Bani holding his hand

"come on Bani u shouldn't lie to me I know how gr8 time u had with me"

"No really Jai I enjoyed my time but just I feeling itchy all over my body with that dish washing liquid on my body, my hand s are hurting carrying all those heavy plates" Saying that tey both of them started laughing.
After some time they both stopped and were staring deeply at eachother. Both anaware who they are, where they were came toward each other and finally their lips meet but only for brief second. Realization stuck both and bani went inside her house wishing him goodnight on a rush……
