thx effern i totally agree with u ....... we should give gurdeep (finally got her name) a chance our kreative will surely will look after her they will change bani's character as well, so tthat it can fit with gurdeep. and yes its not gurdeep's fault if prachi dont wnat to rejoin ks after her movie. so yes lets hope for the best in ks

I agree about not bashing or be judgemental about Gurdeep without giving her a chance.

But I differ in the showing plastic surgery. That's so over used formula to change the person. Every on knows Gurdeep replacing Prachi as Bani why do we need explaination. I would rather have simple note like one for Adi or Jigyasa than some melodramatic bring plastic surgery routine.

I agree, I just want a clean quick switch. Like Nausheena and Mansi's.

i am glad that u posted it ...yes i agree totally with you..prachi HAS moved on in her life to what she thinks are greener pastures ....in her interview she does say that she is GLAD that people know her as prachi now and not as bani which clearly shows her level of detachment from the character which has been visible for some time now....i have never seen gurdeep's shows but from her interviews i like her already as she is willing to give to ks which prachi did not for a long ,long time which is undivided attention in terms of time,effort and concentration...gurdeep is happy and proud to BE BANI and would take it as an achievement to be known as bani , like gautami did with tulsi...
so from me...gurdeep welcome to our show....i will watch u being bani with an open mind and willingness to accept without any comparisons....

I love you guys😃, here I was thinking that mostly everyone dislikes Gurdeep😭. People said she looks to harsh, she can't act, they will never accept her ...... and so on😡. But one, the picture they have is one where she is supposed to look harsh (Durga like avatar), she can look very sweet (look below). She is a terrific actress, and even though KS ticks us off sometimes, IF members are like only 5% of the viewers the show itself is doing pretty good, so saying she must be crazy for joining is just wrong. I can't wait for Gurdeep and wish her all the best. If no onelse supports her I will.

good selection.

but people always compare and always feel that the original actor/actress were better as we are so used to of seeing the character. Like Gautami, who is a very good actress was sooooo compared for Tulsi's role. I hope people do not do same with Gurdeep and just appreciate her work.

I love Gurdeep. I think she is one of the most naturally beautiful actress we have on tv. She is a good actress also. Hope Kasamh Se rocks after her entry...

It's almost official! As reported in Mumbai Mirror, Gurdeep Kohli is on the fast track to be finalised for Balaji's Kasamh Se. And so after great speculation it seems like Ekta is finally tipping towards a likely contender to step into Prachi Desai's shoes.

"Yes it's true. I haven't signed the contract yet but I'm very excited as it's a great comeback for me," says Gurdeep, who was last seen on Bhabhi. "Ekta called me a few days ago and it was the first time that I met her. She has been very kind and co-operative. I have now left myself completely in their hands."

When asked if she was prepared for the hectic schedules that actors sometimes are too vocal about Gurdeep said, "I understand that it's a daily soap but we have found a way to work out things. I am looking forward to working full time again. But I am not going to take up any other show as my hands are full at the moment."

According to Kuntal Shukla, production head of Kasamh Se, "The new Bani will be finalised soon. Nothing's confirmed yet. Obviously the new Bani will look far different from what Prachi portrayed in Kasamh Se. Our hopes are pinned on Gurdeep."

We never know whether PD could enact such a role or not since she was never given such a role.

It is quite natural for ppl to not let go PD as Bani as for past 1+ years, she was Bani, she was the one who gave life to the character Bani. Ppl are used to seeing her as Bani and understandably so, for ardent fans of KS, it would be difficult to think of someone else in the PD's shoes.

There is no denying that Gurdeep is a good actress but for some ppl, she is not Bani. Gurdeep is bound to be compared and criticised for the mere fact that she is replacing someone and ppl have been used to watching the other actress. I hope you understand what I am trying to say. Dont let comments abt Gurdeep affect you. Its different opinions of ppl. 😛😃
